Vi fikk sett skilpadde som var kjempekult! Så også masse annen fisk og et rev. Det var ikke setebelte i bilen, som drar ned litt på sikkerhet. Guidene kunne også forklart litt mer hva som skjer. Utenom det var det en skikkelig kul opplevelse!

Mis sold by TUI representative at hotel. Wife had knee op. Chris assured us this wouldn't be a problem. When arrived at provider, the manager told us impossible to carry on as my wife wouldn't be able to access the boat. NOT their fault the rep misrepresented the accessibility. Still waiting for refund

Tyvärr var det alldeles för höga vågor för snorkling. Framförallt för vår 10-åring som var med. Utrustningen var inte heller den bästa, med cyklop som läckte och snorklar utan vågskydd.

The whole experience from beginning to end was amazing. I had seen reviews of seeing no fish and the wreck you see being rubbish, but there were loads of fish and the wreck was a sight. Would definitely recommend.

I got what I paid for I was picked up had a briefing and got taken out to sea. However as an English speaking person we were put with many Italians and felt isolated from the group. Getting to the boat felt very unsafe as the water was far too choppy in my opinion especially for my 12 year old son. The boat didn’t have enough things to hold you on especially for the speed it was going. In the sea we got separated and it took too long to notice. I feel this trip needs a warning and not for kids.

Absolute rubbish. Pictures are completely misleading. Advertised as coral reef and glamorous fishes. Saw a grey murky sea bottom and about 2 grey fish. A “ship wreck” was advertised was 2 metal poles. Complete disappointment

I have been on 30+ snorkelling trips & this was by far the worst. Having to wade out into the sea to climb onto a rib boat with a difficult ladder to climb is not ideal if not a strong & able person, non of which we were told about in advance. Also the journey on the rib was pretty scary and fast, having to hang on to just side ropes. Also there was very little fish to see other that a few around a small wreck & sadly no turtles. Not recommended or value for money!

We had booked an English speaking session, however, a very 'needy' Polish lady demanded a lot of attention. Unfortunately, this meant the guides time was absorbed by her. Also, we crossed the path of another group and a few of our group snorkelled off with them for a while - very confusing. The snorkeling experience was fantastic - we saw many multi-coloured fish over a reef and a shipwreck. I would recommend this trip as long as ypu stay alert

Half uur moeten wachten voordat we opgehaald werden. Dit was een miscommunicatie vanuit hun. Daarna goed geholpen door het behulpzame personeel. Prachtige tour, je krijgt te zien waar je op hoopt! Het is waar voor je geld.

Das Angebot gilt laut TUI für ab 8 Jahre alte Kinder. Man wird mit Schwimmweste in ca. 10 bis 15 Meter tiefe Gewässer gesetzt bei Wellengang gesetzt. Der Wellengang bei unserer Schnorcheltour war grenzwertig und die Strömung zum Schluss hin so stark ,dass ich trotz Flossen kaum vorwärts kam. Trotz Schwimmweste und einem Boot in der Nähe, habe ich mich äußerst unwohl gefühlt. Bei der Strömung kann es schnell passieren abgetrieben zu werden und bei 18 Personen kann schnell einer übersehen werden.

Vol verwachting gingen we op excursie...... Taxi busje was op tijd en bracht ons naar de kite school. Al zwemmend naar de rubberboot en spullen in kluisjes die niet op slot konden. Weinig kunnen zien ivm troebel water en alleen bij een scheepswrak geweest (waar het voor door moest gaan) en niet bij een Maria beeld. Dat hadden er gehoord van anderen die bij locals geboekt hadden. Ook waren we met 1,5 uur alweer terug in het hotel en hebben maar zo'n 30 min.gesnorkeld. Zeker de 30euro NIET waard

Enjoyed seeing all the wildlife however the actual overall experience was lacking. No information on what we might see was given. No explaining what to look out for in the sea. What fish etc. did see a turtle which was amazing. No explaining of what we were doing. Your required to wear life jackets which was annoying. But I understand the safety aspect. There was lots jellyfish type creatures. Thousands and I got stung a few times. Did not bother me but would nice to be told this.

Heel goed, waar voor zijn geld. Veel gezien. Enkel voor mijn jongste en mezelf ging het vanuit de boot snorkel aan en snorkelen iets te snel. Wij hadden iets meer tijd nodig om grief aan te doen en te acclimatiseren. Mijn man en oudste hadden dit dan weer niet. Het is wel in midden van de zee, hou dus rekening met dat het koud is. Jongste was bevroren ??

Hello, We have had a good time. Just an advice how to enjoy it more: 1. Wear a wet swimming suite (1.5mm) because you can get cold after 40 mins in water. One woman in our group was shivering. 2. Have you own gear. Fins and mask provided were OK, but snorkel didn't have valves and it was incontinence when waves were really high. You would be taken on a boat ~300m from the shore. We saw a lot of fish and a turtle, but it was quite deep. Wish it was shallower water.

I was the only English person and although safety brief was ok, most of the chat, talk was Portuguese. My first wetsuit suit was old, fraying at edges and baggy, the second one was way too small. I’m a size 14, hardly unusual. But.. getting into the dinghy by wading out off the beach through the surf and climbing onto the dinghy was tough. It’s rough here. The coral isn’t pretty, the fish were okay. Best thing was seeing a turtle. I’ve snorkelled a lot many oceans but I wouldn’t to this again.

Sea dangerous - waves 6ft -8ft swell had to use rope to get through waves to boat. Dangerous. Life vest didn’t have a strap to go through legs so ended up round armpits. Although a strong swimmer, half the group struggled in the water and half the group started throwing up in the sea and had to be taken to boat. On way in, waves very high and kept having to go back into sea to avoid being pinned to sand and dragged back out. Several staff members had to jump on to get us out water safely.

Very good safety briefing and kitting out. Warning, sea very rough and you have to wade and swim along line to get to boat. Struggled a bit but instructor Leah really kind and helpful. Due to volcanic landscape not colourful but saw fish and three turtles, which was a real bonus. Lovely people at company but found all islanders lovely.

Der Ausflug ist sein Geld nicht wert, dass beste ist die Bootsfahrt aufs Meer und zurück. Zum Schnorcheln ist der angefahrende Abschnitt nicht geeignet, da es kaum Fische zum beobachten gibt, wir haben 3 Schildkröten aus weiter Entfernung gesehen, die Sicht unter Wasser(Fische+ Riffs) ist kaum der Rede wert. Bitte aus dem Programm streichen.

Waste of time, the trip is advertised as chance to see a top dive spot and coral reef. The boat did not go far out and there were no corals just a few fish is a rough sea. Most people seemed to be impressed by a few fish and a sea turtle that passed by. We have snorkelled on various coral reefs around the world and this was the worst experiance we have had.

Mir gefiel diese Schnorchel-Tour sehr gut, sie war sehr gut Organisiert und die Guides waren sehr freundlich und kompetent. Auch haben wir eine Wasserschuldkröte gesehen, was diesen Ausflug zu etwas ganz besonderem machte. Gut zu wissen ist für alle diesen Ausflug planen, dass der Guide ausschließlich Englisch und Portugisisch spricht. Vor allem bei der Einweisung vor dem Schnorchel-Gang sind Englisch-Kenntnisse notwendig.

Bien dans l'ensemble petite sortie en bateau tranquille. Pas beaucoup de poissons visibles car trop profonds. Peut-être trouvé une zone moins profonde pour le snorkeling. WE moesten zelf in en uit de rubberboot klimmen. Mensen die ouder zijn en gezet lukt dit niet. Dat was niet van tevoren aangegeven. Jammer van mijn 30 euro. Zeer slecht. De zee was ook ruw dus weinig tot geen vissen gezien.

Voorbereiding van de trip was ok, maar alles moest snel gaan. Het snorkelen zelf was teleurstellend. Er was weinig te zien en we kregen amper uitleg. De tijd in het water was zeer beperkt en de begeleiding was steeds gehaast. De duikbril van mijn dochter lekte dus ze had pech. Al bij al geen echte aanrader want in onze ogen geen waar voor je geld..

This was a little more adventurous than we had planned but a great experience nonetheless. We swam out to the speedboat and were in the water snorkelling through various sites. We were lucky to see turtles and lots of different fish and a wreck. Staff were great and we would recommend this. You do need to be confident swimmers as the water is not smooth and decently physically fit for the swimming and getting on and off the boat.

Enjoyed the whole trip. The dive guide was very good. He was very helpful to my wife throughout the whole tour. He also ensured everybody was safe all the time when we were snorkeling. Saw plenty of different fish and a couple of turtles.The fast boat ride at the end was a bonus.

Alles zusammen sehr gut! Alle nett, gab viel zu sehen und der Guide war auch bemüht uns Schildkröten zu zeigen (erfolgreich). Am Ende wurde man sogar mit Wasser abgespült, sodass man „sauber“ wieder den Heimweg antreten konnte.

Hier beißen sich Sicherheit und Komforterlebnis. Leider muss man wegen der starken Strömung Schwimmwesten tragen und darf sie nur kurz ablegen, falls man kurz etwas unter Wasser filmen will. Aber Sicherheit geht da verständlicherweise vor. Die Gruppe musste nah beieinander bleiben und durch die Enge kam man sich öfter in die Quere. Die Guide schwamm vor und das Boot zur Sicherheit hinterher. Das Erlebnis war toll, es gab viele Fische, Schildkröten, einen Hai und ein Wrack zu sehen.

This was the second time we have taken this trip and it was a very enjoyable trip. The weather was cooler than last time so we were provided with a wet suit which was needed. The sea was choppy and saw lots of fish but was not so clear due to waves. As sea was choppy lots of water getting into mouth tube - but this was not anything to do with Atlantic Star. Still a good trip and enjoyed it.

Really liked the friendly staff and informality of the trip. The guide was knowledgeable and always had safety in mind. I think a better description of the trip would be beneficial as you have to be a reasonably good swimmer and quite fit to enjoy it.

I went with my husband, not to snorkel but to go on the boat. When we arrived the manager told me that it would be very bumpy in the sea conditions and said if I wanted, I could stay at the dive centre or they'd take me back to the hotel. They also would refund my part of the booking. So, I stayed at the centre where I was made to feel very welcome, given a bottle of water, advised that they had sent the refund request to Tui and even gave their WiFi code to use. A great day had by both of us.
