C’était une visite incroyable. Luca était un très bon guide, très drôle, serviable et compétent. Il connaissait très bien son métier et il le fait avec passion. Nous avons partagé des rires avec lui. The tour itself was fantastic and our guide, Luca, was great, very knowledgeable and conversing with everyone in English, Spanish, French or Mayan, depending upon what was required. The whole experience was perhaps a bit shorter than we would have liked considering the travel time but it did mean we were back at the hotel in plenty of time for the evening.

Het was heel erg fijn om een nedelandse gids zoals Jolanda te hebben die heel erg veel wist te vertellen over de maya's en hun cultuur en talen. In het kleine Maya dorpje kregen we ook een workshop in het zelf maken van een lekkernij en een proeverij van een bepaald drankje en voedsel. Zwemmen in een Cenote, waar het water wel heel erg helder en koel is, was ook een mogelijkheid. Zwemvesten en omkleedhokjes waren aanwezig. Ook in Tulum wist zij heel veel te vertellen over hoe het vroeger was.

Great trip, the team was great the guide(Karina) was wonderful.We enjoyed the trip very much !! The only down side for me was the cost of this trip (which was half a day) very close to the cost of a full day to the Xplore or Lost colorades/ chicen Itza.

Cette demie journée d’excursion était parfaite ! Anna la guide francophone était très professionnelle, à l’écoute pour ma maman de 79 avec une canne pour marcher en la faisant passer par un chemin rapide et petit groupe de 12 personnes dans le van. Visite tôt le matin pour le site archéologique de Tulum, visite d’une communauté maya avec la fabrication d’une tortilla que nous avons dégusté et baignade dans un cenote après la bénédiction du chamane. On a adoré ma fille de 13 ans, ma maman et moi

Tulum was unfortunately disappointing. Compared to our visit 15 years ago, it now felt more like a sheep pen, with ropes and barriers everywhere, which took away much of its natural beauty. The beach and sea, once breathtaking, were also covered in brown sargassum. The Mayan village and cenote visit, however, were outstanding. It was a relaxing, authentic experience in beautiful natural surroundings and easily the highlight of the day. Our guide, Tay, was professional, knowledgeable, and caring

The cenote was a particular high of the tour. We did not find the guide very personable, and the driver’s attitude really changed when not many people gave a tip. The biggest issue for me was that no one on the trip was told to take water in anything other than a plastic bottle, as these are not allowed in Tulum. So, we were walking for about an hour and a half in high temperatures and high humidity without a drink. This is actually negligent of Tui. Also, not walk - use golf cart to be better

Great day out but be warned, we are in Costa Mujeres. We spent a lot of time on the bus because of pick ups in Cancun. Still worth it but a long day because of the additional pick ups (especially when you are the first/last ones)

Booked through TUI. Tour is also available on Get your guide for less. A small van was used, quite cramped once full. No lunch provided, snacks in a bag (2 small rolls and a cookie) given after Tulum. Out from 7.30am till 3pm (from PDC). Lovely to see Tulum (bring reusable water bottle) and cenote swim was good. It just felt expensive and not as well organised as the Chichen Itza tour we took through TUI.

Eerst positief nieuws.. gids Colin deed de rondleiding in het Nederlands en was erg begaan met zijn werk. Tulum was een mooie site, doch erg commercieel en de prijzen in de shops waren enorm hoog. Rond 11 hr kreeg je enkele snacks en water. In het Maya dorp waren twee dames tortilla aan het bakken en je kreeg er eentje te eten. De cenote aldaar was erg klein, maar had zijn charmes. In de shop waren de prijzen van de souvenirs alweer erg hoog. We keerden met honger terug...

Vind de prijzen best wel aan de hoge kant maar dat geldt voor alle excursies! Prima "halve" dag gehad. Alleen jammer dat er noet bij boeking verteld werd dat we geen plastic wegwerp flesjes water mo mochten meenemen bij de ruines van Tulum, dan word je net voor de ingang verplicht een fles te kopen anders loop je een park in met ruim 35 graden zonder water! Moet je van tevoren melden mijn idee!!

The guide Lorenzo was very knowledgeable. He was able to communicate with guests that spoke different languages which was impressive. The driver Edwardo was also a safe driver and we felt comfortable with him. We were given enough time to explore the ruins on our own. The trip was worth it.

We were picked up at hotel at 7.30am for tour of Tulum ruins which were an hour away then supposed to be village and cenote but taken to cenote first then ruins at midday in searing sun which was unbearable and so stupid expecting tourists to be in that heat after getting picked up so early..was quite disgraceful as we had two ladies over 60 who wanted to see ruins but we expected to be there early morning. Trip was also bilingual which meant we all had to listen to guide repeating it all

Ich finde das der Service insgesamt sehr gut war, karina war sehr sehr freundlich und unwahrscheinlich respektvoll, hat in allen Sprachen der anwesenden Reisenden gesprochen, sie hat sich in der Hitze bemüht es wirklich so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten, hatte immer ein Lächeln auf, trotz manch respektlosen Reisenden, der Fahrer Lorenzo,sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Every seat in the small minibus was taken up so felt a little cramped. We were at Tulum for 2 hours with Erik the guide explaining things for the 1st hour then he left us to wonder round ourselves. If it wasn't for overhearing what other guides were saying to their people we would have missed things. Basically, he should have offered to stay with his party for the whole 2 hours. The visit to the Mayan village was OK but coupled with the cenote, worth the major detour back.

The TUI rep explained that if we paid extra, we’d get lunch. Lunch wasn’t included when I spoke with the guide, to I was misinformed and paid extra for something which wasn’t a thing. So i’d like it escalated and a partial refund

We had a great time. Our driver was lovely and our guide Oliver was really friendly and informative. Our Group was half English and half Spanish and he went through everything in each language. There was both enough time in Tulum with the guide and free time ourselves. Then onto the Mayan community and cenote swim, which was just amazing. Yes the drive was long but it was worth it to see everything. Bring a reusable water bottle for Tulum and flipflops or swim shoes for cenote.

Es hieß, dass diese Tour exklusive nur so von TUI angeboten wird und dies entsprach nicht der Wahrheit. So stand es auch in der Email. Über Getyourguide gab es die Tour auch für einen günstigeren Preis. Es waren auch Teilnehmende dabei, die es über Getyourguide gebucht haben. Dann war die Tour auf Deutsch und Spanisch. Das war nicht optimal für alle, da man weniger Informationen erhalten hat, da der Guide alles doppelt sagen musste.

Local knowledge and history of structures etc gave context to the ruins. The area is commercialized but that allows solid walkways and toilet facilities to be installed. Reducing walking and impact on the site. The lunch was poor, some fruit / crisps with raw sandwiches would have been good.

The driver and tour guide were fabulous, friendly, informative and funny. The guide did an excellent job keeping the group together, but also making sure we had free time to explore the places and shops. The tour length is perfect, we didn't feel rushed anywhere and got to see and do everything we wanted.

Travelling time was longer than the actual experience 2.5 hours each way and the small minivan was very uncomfortable for such a long journey. Guide could have been better prepared with more information. For example we were not told where we could go to the toilet. The day felt very rushed, we only had 30 mins in the cenote. No information provided on booking eg restrictions on plastic water bottles and bag searches at Tulum.

Es ist ein Halbtagesausflug ohne Mittagessen, aber das wussten wir ja. Wir wurden überaus kompetent und freundlich von unserem Guide Lilly durch den Tag begleitet. Wir haben die Maya-Ruinen von Tulum und ein modernes Maya-Dorf kennengelernt und wer wollte, konnte in einer Cenote sich abkühlen. insgesamt ein sehr kurzweiliger, schöner Ausflug. Vielen Dank nochmal an Lilly. 😘 Der Preis von ca. 110 € ist für eine Halbtagesusflug aber ziemlich happig.

Ein rundum gelungener Ausflug. Lilly war eine tolle Reiseleiterin und Arturo ein super Fahrer. Uns wurde viel erklärt, wir konnten Fragen stellen und hatten auch noch genug Zeit um uns selbstständig umzusehen. Der Besuch im Mayadorf war auch sehr interessant, vor allem auch das Tacco backen und mein persönliches Highlight das Bad in der Cenote

Der Ausflug war mit gerade mal 4 Stunden zu kurz (wir sind aus Cancun 3h hin und wieder 3h zurück gefahren). Wir hätten ein Mittagessen toll gefunden…und für uns wäre der Hinweis vorab wichtig gewesen, dass Plastikflaschen in Tulum verboten sind. 2h ohne Wasser in der prallen Sonne rumlaufen war für meinen Kreislauf nicht so toll und mir ging es danach auch nicht so gut. Der Guide war bemüht, aber kein Vergleich zu den TUI Touren Coba und Chichen Itza. Die waren ne 12/10…

Our guide, Eric, was knowledgeable and very helpful. The driver, Arturo Lopez, was an excellent driver and we were in good hands for the entire excursion. The only negative was exiting the Tulum site as the signage is very poor. We found our way back to the entrance passage, through the stone wall, but were told we could not use it as an exit. We wandered about for another 30 minutes and finally had to use one of the emergency exits. We would suggest a simple handout map would help.

Ich versuchte am Abend vorher auf irgendeinen Weg abzusagen/verschieben. Dies weil meine Frau erkrankte… Ich hatte keine Möglichkeit dazu. Da es meiner Frau am Morgen dann besser ging- starteten wir die Tour dann doch. Voll gesund wäre es sicher noch besser gewesen.

Die Tour war sehr informativ und gut strukturiert. Wir wurden um 08:30 in unserem Hotel (Akumal Bay) abgeholt, um 09:00 begann unsere Tour in Tulum. Auch der Besuch der Maya-Gemeinde war sehr interessant. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir unseren Guide Karina, die sehr locker, humorvoll und detailliert auf alle Fragen eingegangen ist. Um 13:00 waren wir wieder zurück im Hotel. Klare Empfehlung.

Oliver est un guide super qui nous a partagé beaucoup d’informations tant sur le site de Tulum que sur la vie des Mayas. Expérience très intéressante au sein de la communauté Maya. Excursion un peu chère pour la demi journée surtout que nous étions à 15 minutes du site.

The whole experience was very good however, we felt that TUI could have provided some important information up front … namely that certain items could not be taken into Tulum, in particular, single use bottles of water. We didn’t know about this until our guide informed us shortly before arriving at Tulum. This meant we were either forced to buy a refillable bottle at Tulum or not drink during our tour. Had we known up front, we could have taken the refillable water bottle we already had.

Pick up very prompt. Lovely welcome from guide and driver. Felt safe on roads. Mayan ruins at Tulum beautiful, helped as guide very knowledgeable abd told good stories to help us understand more about Mayans and their communities. Mayan village a nice touch. Good fun overall.

Tour guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. We requested an English guide but it was a bilingual group and she mainly spoke Italian. It was very annoying having to listen to two languages. A long journey with several pick ups.

Karina hat alles top erklärt, war super nett und auch bei zusätzlichen Fragen über Mexiko sehr kompetent. Der Tag mit ihr hat wirklich Spass gemacht. Jederzeit wieder.

het was een interessante plek, leuke weetjes. mooi. ook leuk de combinatie met het uitstapje naar het maya dorp, om te zien hoe vroeger werd geleefd. even afkoelen in de mooie cenote. Een afwisselend programma zonder een hele lange dag onderweg te zijn. Wij vonden het geslaagd!

The excursion is lovely. It starts with a lovely guided tour of the national park and the ruins, then you get some time off to enjoy it by yourself and take all the photos, then it goes to a Mayan community where you make your own tacos, and enjoy some local drinks and snacks, then a swim in the cenote which is stunning. Water and a snack is provided. If you don’t have breakfast before, bring some food with you as snacks are limited. Overall great excursion for 1/2 day!
