Frequent stops with ample time at each one. Although the description needs amending as it states there is time to walk around the ruins of Kastro, the old island capital. This isn’t the case, it’s simply a stop off at Kastro beach. We were told not to attempt to walk up the path to the ruins as it is dangerous (it did look it) and there would not enough time to get there and back anyway.

Fantastic day enjoying (mostly) sunny beaches, cruising round the whole island, plus a reasonably priced restaurant & beach stop at Katigiorgis on the mainland. Lalaria beach at the start was a bit underwhelming, due to the cloudy sky meaning the white rocks were not sparkling in the sun. Kastro beach was the highlight with the chance to climb up the steep trail to the old town ruins or sunbathe on the beach. Tsougrias was lovely - the best sandy beach stop of the day. Boat & crew were great.

Booked trip to see north island as buses don’t go, especially Kastro, old capital but due to rough seas could only see briefly from boat along with Lalaria beach. Sea was very choppy and captain will only go if safe. Went other way round due to this & stopped at Tsougrias first for hour then went to another beach past Koukounaries before lunch at Katigiorgis on Greek mainland which was pretty. Not a lot to see other than views/beaches but expect better if can stop in Kastro to see church.

Das war ein rund herum gelungener Ausflug , super organisiert und ganz tolle Stationen die angefahren wurden.
Das Mittag essen in Katigiorgis war Mega wunderschöne kleine Tavernen mit wirklich günstigem und sehr leckerem Essen.
Wirklich sehr zu Empfehlen !!!!!

I realise we have no control over the weather. and it's a fine line to need the revenue, not let people down against safety. But I felt the line that was chosen could have been an earlier decision on behalf of the older and young children. I am all for adrenaline ride but I did not feel safe, the waves were really rough to the point of the boats high and lows were something I haven't experienced before, all on board ere holding on in fear. We did not book the Around the Island Cruise, but the Sun & Sea Cruise. We wished we had read the previous reviews regarding this trip (especially late changes to the planned itinerary). Whilst we are aware that their may be changes due to the weather conditions, this should be relayed BEFORE setting sail. It was quite clear that the crew knew the planned route had changed. We should have been given the option to reschedule to another day. Waste of money as we'd already visited the beaches.

Whilst I understand that weather pays a big part in this trip. All private boats informed their customers that they could not sail to lalaria beach yesterday evening. Had we known this we would’ve cancelled which is probably why we didn’t get told yesterday. We understand that the itinerary could be changed because of weather, it was changed for 2 stops at Tsougaria beach……why 2? And Agia Eleni beach by where we are staying (5 times we have already been there) Really disappointed. Not again

I think the advertisement needs to be more specific! It needs to say that winds 20 and above will lead to lalaria being missed out! This was the main place we wanted to see. If we’d known the above we would have booked the trip on a less windy day.

There was very little to enjoy. The beach stops were basically scrubby, dusty and uninspiring. There was no in depth commentary. Descriptions of landmarks was limited, such as “to your right is……” without very much, if any insight.

Lovely boat and staff. They need some better speakers about the boat as most people could not hear any of the information the guide gave as the sound did not carry. Probably only the people sitting in the bar were could hear the guide, not the people sat to the rear or front of the boat. Shame we did not get to explore half of what we were supposed to ( The North coast) Lalaria and Blue caves due to the waves. It felt like we should get a partial refund due to this.

Too many people on the boat, had to sit on the floor. No mention of life jackets for anyone on the upper deck, doubt those that were in the lower deck were sufficient for the number of people on the boat. Weather unfortunately meant we didn’t explore what was advertised. Very windy. Scramble for seats when getting back on the boat after stops.

We chose this trip because the TUI rep said we would go to see dolphins when it was just a trip visiting beaches and that was all. We felt that we were sold this under false pretences. Three beaches were shingle, difficult to walk on and to get out of the sea. Time would have been better spent at the one sandy beach. At the lunch stop we were told where to eat, clearly a scam between the restaurant and the boat owner. We are adults and can choose where to eat. Very disappointed

Our trip was Friday 4th July. We didn't like the destinations, pebble beaches with nothing to do. My wife was injured badly getting onboard at stop 3.. The injurie was a cut to her heal which required 3 stiches and 3 hospital visits. The movement of the boat dragged her heal under the metal gangplank which resulted in the sever cut . First aid was administered by a girl working behind the bar. TUI rep. Moses was unavailable to report the incident.

Excellent jolly staff Good stop off’s with enough time for a swim. NB: Little shade available if you are sun shy. Excellent lunch stop- don’t worry that all in one restaurant- it was cheap with gorgeous food. Please note this trip is not exclusive to TUI so too many people on boat for my liking.

This was by far the best boat trip of our holiday! The crew were amazing and so friendly. The beaches were breathtaking and the stop for lunch on the mainland was such good value for money and delicious too! Would 100% recommend this trip - but don't forget your beach shoes as they are essential on the pebbly beaches.

It was well organized end to end. The trip itself was fantastic in terms of locations visited and time allowed at each. The hosts were helpful, attentive and great fun. They, and the music mix added to the overall enjoyment of the day.

I thought that the cruise was predominantly aimed at people who wanted to swim and sunbathe. The beaches we stopped at, apart from the last one, were stones and shale and therefore hard on your feet. The time on the water was great and the staff were lovely. A very slick operation.

Loved the stops at Lalaria and Katagioris. The stoney beach at Lalaria needs beach shoes for getting in & out of the water. Katagioris was very quaint and we loved our food in the Blue taverna. We only had a drink at the shack taverna at Kasto because the narrow path climb to the castle would have been too much for me. The guide should have stated this. I would miss the last island of Tsougarias out completely. was very tired by this time and it wasn't as nice as stated. Needs tweets x

The upgrade to transfer was hassle free and good value. The guide and bartender was really lovely and gorgeous and brought good vibes but unfortunately the passengers were a little sedated? The itinerary was well planned however I would skip Skougrias island as the beach can't compare with Lalaria beach. Would have been better to properly explore the Blue caves instead. Toilets on the boat don't have locks on them so I've had people push open while I'm in there. Overall really great experience!

We really enjoyed the whole tour. We had the right amount of time in each place and the taverna lunch was lovely. The only suggestion is to turn up the sound of the guides voices when they are explaining the sights that we passed as the noise of the boat and the wind drowned them out a lot of the time.

Die Tour war sehr schön, wir haben viel gesehen und hatten genug Zeit zum baden. Besonders der Lalaria Strand ist sehenswert!! Die letzte kleine Insel (Name ?) hätte vielleicht nicht mehr sein müssen. Überreste einer alten Ölmühle und verfallende Behausungen der ehemaligen Arbeiter nicht so interessant, aber: The Beatles wollten das Eiland seinerzeit kaufen und ihr Studio dort einrichten, doch der griechische Staat lehnte das ab.

The beaches were beautiful and because of the heat you were glad to get in the sea. The boat was overpopulated as there was not enough shade once it got too hot for people who'd initially sat upstairs. It had been 32°C. There was a bit of forced jovality regarding hosts wanting us to sing/dance along to music, but the crowd wasn't feeling it. The lunch break on the mainland was lovely though a little small with a full beach, us, plus another tourist boat of another 50 people. There was good info

A good value way to see what the island has to offer. Fun, engaging and informative crew. In isolation would have been even better but unfortunately there are several boat tours arriving at the same beaches at the same time so they get quite hectic. The recommended restaurant for lunch was chaotic - it took almost all of the allotted time in Katagiorgos with one of our lunches arriving 25min after the first!

Lovely round island boat trip from Skiathos Port on the Calypso. Lalaria, Kastro, the lunch stop in Pelion and finally Tsgouria beaches. The first two beaches we stayed 50 minutes and the lunch stop 3 hours, although I think it was too long as there is no shade to escape the sun on the beach.

The boat was full but not too crowded. The staff were helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We stopped at 5 beaches and they were all lovely, especially Lalaria Beach. The length of each stop was good to have a swim and dry off before getting back on the boat. The lunch time stop on the mainland was a lovely small beach with two traditional tavernas to choose from. The trip was really good value for money and the boat was comfy. Transfers from our hotel included. 8 hour trip!

The beaches were beautiful and very much the best part. The scenery was amazing and well worth the trip. We were sitting at the back near the engine, which was noisy, and made it difficult to hear the guide and the bar, we thought, was overpriced.

I traveled with my two children age 14 and 11. We loved first stop and would have spent longer there. The second stop Kastro beach was busy and crowed as not very large, we all agreed we could have missed this out and had longer at the first beach and last beach, island. The lunch stop was just long enough the tavernas provided good value meal. The boat crew were helpful and plesant especially Tatiania. Would recommend for families who like to swim in the sea.

Het doel was oa, lalaria, 2 strandjes en de oversteek naar het vaste land voor de lunch. Bij veel wind zouden we gebeld worden, zodat we konden beslissen of we wel of niet wilden gaan. Werd verteld. Dit is niet gebeurd. Pas op het water werd gezegd dat we niet naar lalaria gingen, geen toestemming vanuit de politie. Dan is uitstappen lastig. De dag werd afgesloten/ opgevuld met langs de nodige baaitjes varen. Dat had geen voldoening. De woensdag ging de trip wel door, hadden we meegekund. Jammer

This second excursion we booked wasn’t great, they completely overbooked the boat. I would not recommend using Tui again for this trip. Far too many people on board and we just spent all day on and off going to the beach’s mentioned. I know that’s the idea but on one occasion it took 15 mins to disembark (!) and then had 30 mins on the beach in question. Nowhere to sit which many struggled with. Nice staff but if you want to go round the island and see these beach’s, look for a different trip.

Das Bootsteam war einfach spitze. Leider war der Guide überhaupt nicht präsent und er gab uns über Land ind Kultur gar keine Informationen. Das Team vom Boot Kalypso war freundlich, sehr bemüht und hat den Ausflug gerettet. Der Guide hatte überhaupt kein Wissen und war nicht kundenorientiert.

Great way to get to some of the beaches you otherwise never would know about. Really good value for money and a great day out. The only thing that could improve is the organisation of the coaches for transfer back to the hotel after the boat trip finished. It wasn’t clear what coaches was going where and some simple signage would have helped. Apart from that strongly recommend.

Beautiful beaches especially Lalaria and a lovely stop at a local Greek taverna for lunch, supporting the local community. Helpful and friendly staff throughout the day. This is the second time we've been on this trip and it wasstill just as magical as thr first time. Perhaps as a way of improving the trip it would have been nice to spend more time at Lalaria and miss out the last beach. Also the boat seemed very overcrowded.

Het is heerlijk om te varen zeker met deze warmte. De 1e stop hadden we maar 40 min dat was wat kort. Door de harde wind werd de cruise anders om gedaan niet over de Oost zijde. Het tweede en 3e strand waren prachtige zandstranden waar we respectievelijk 1 en 2 uur hadden om te zwemmen en te lunchen. Op de boot was plaats genoeg voor iedereen, heb me geen moment onveilig gevoeld. Personeel was erg behulpzaam bij het aanboord en van boord gaan. Je ziet de strand van dichtbij waar je langs vaart.

My daughter and I greatly enjoyed the cruise. We would have liked if it had been slightly longer, especially the stop on Tzugria Island. Apart of that, everything was as expected. There were good guides, amazing service and very friendly crew.

The overall trip was really good as we had done it before so we more or less new what too expect. As a bonus we saw some Dolphins which made it that little bit more special. The down side was Kastro as we were unable to go to the ruins due to closure. Also our mainland stop we found the food was not the best, it was all a bit rushed, not as described on the menu and not of the best quality.

Fabulous day out - different beaches with some beautiful coastal scenery in between. Loved the beach with the tavernas but not so keen on being shoehorned to one particular one by the crew. I avoided it and went to another which was great value for money and an added bonus of a 'postcard' view.

Lalaria was amazing for swimming - water so clear and colours of the seas were spectacular. Had a delicious lunch in Katagiorgi of fresh fish and lobster spaghetti Can thoroughly recommend this trip,around the island.

Everything ran on time.The trip was interesting and fun,stopped at good beaches and a good value taverna (€50 for 4 food and drinks).

Good to see right around the Island, a small cove on the mainland and lots of swim stops where the boat took you right onto the beach. Worst bit was other passengers assuming they had to have exactly the same seat on the boat when you got back on after a stop and insisting you moved and got quite confrontational ??

Work was being done at Kastro so we couldn’t visit this and we weren’t told that until we were on the boat. Also not long enough at Tsougria.

Im glad the captain changed course for the rough weather, but not so glad he then sailed through it for half the trip - very bouncy waves and I was seasick. Commentary on the beaches and facts was excellent. Happy hour was excellent Boat was comfortable Restaurant for lunch was poor quality - it may be 10% off but we wishes we had checked out the other two venues. The private island was excellent and the walk to the church for hte views well worth it.
