Our guide Michael was a joy to be with on this tour, knowledgeable and informative and also very witty. Mafe sure all the guests were involved and answered questions. A not-to-be-missed experience for people who enjoy local culture and history.

We enjoyed tour and guide was very good. But the Wine Tasting part was very poor. You advertise it to include wine tasting, but I do not consider 1 small glass of wine much of a wine tasting experience. Rather misleading advertisement. So that part was very disappointing

Enjoyed everything about the holiday but the island hopping on board elisabet cruise company really stood out, the antics of the captain and crew was fantastic. 👍

Michael was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Ours was the first group in about ten years to use a large bus. Unfortunately the venues were too small for the large group so we missed out on parts of Michael's narrative.

The tour guide, although knowledgeable about the saints and other interior bits told us hardly anything about the buildings. He also, in his joki g manner, seemed disrespectful to the place and more so to the man taken in by the monks who he said would never make a monk so he called him half a monk. I didn't find this at all funny. Total disrespect and degrading.

I thought the trip was relaxed and informative.The guide Michael was amusing and full of knowledge.It was lovely to see more inside the interior of Skiathos and wondeeful views towards the sea. I would recommend this delightful cultural trip away from the crowds.

This trip was so interesting, made extra special by our guide, Michael who was absolutely brilliant and passionate about the tour. He was so knowledgeable and was quite eccentric and this just made the trip. There was an issue with transport collecting us from hotel (I had to ring TUI as pickup time stated 3pm from hotel but they then informed me it was 3.30pm when in fact the message never actually got through to the guide so we were quite delayed leaving which was stressful).

Michael had so much knowledge of the history and religious involved. It was difficult to absorb It was delivered in a humorous way with great detail The coffee break was very enjoyable and the glass of wine at the end finished the tour perfectly.

The guide’s knowledge and understanding was excellent. The small group size (10) was about the right for this tour. The trip description stated wine tasting which in reality was a glass of wine and biscuit - although it did not really detract from the experience.

Really enjoyed the afternoon. Guide knowledgeable and interesting. Perhaps do not suggest that there is a wine tasting but that ,at the monastery, their home made wine is for sale and you can sample a small glass. No one to guide you through the tastes, production or history.

A pleasant few hours visiting 2 churches and a monastery with Michael who was a very interesting and informative guide with a lovely easy manner. Very little walking and a small glass of wine but enjoyed it.

Not as advertised. Three monasteries not two. Too much information. No wine tasting! Expected a more balanced experience, two monasteries and some wine to help mull over what we’d seen. The one large monastery and wine tasting would have been ideal. As it was I was all out by the time we’d got to the main event.

Guide Michael was excellent, very knowledgeable and entertaining. However, trip was very expensive. We were not picked up from our hotel but had to make our own way to Skiathos Harbour and still paid the same as those who had transport from other parts of the island. Also, there was no wine tasting.

Great trip, our guide Michael was so knowledgeable and made it very interesting. Just a point that on the trip info it says there is a wine tasting session which didn't happen. Would be great to have tasted the wine or liquers that they make at the monastery.

The guide on this trip was excellent. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. Made the trip enjoyable. The details said there was 'Hike@ and 'Wine Tasting'.... The hike was a gentle stroll from one spot to another, no hiking involved, and the wine tasting was not exactly as promised, just a swig in the shop before a retail opportunity. That said it was a great trip and I would highly recommend if only for the 'Michael Palin' style guide's delivery....Highly entertaining.

Shame the tour was cut short due to people being late and the bus waiting for them. Really rushed the whole experience.
