What to expect
Help endangered species by visiting the third edition of the Garden of Lights in Wrocław, where a portion of each ticket sale goes towards protecting endangered species in South America. The experience involves an hour-long walk through themed zones, allowing you to gradually immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the continent, from the stark Patagonia to the vibrant Amazon and bustling wetlands. This year's edition introduces several new features, including lanterns with moving elements such as birds flapping their wings, manatees with their young and an anteater hunting for ants. You can also expect to see realistic family scenes featuring jaguars and maned wolves, monumental installations such as capybaras in towering lilies, and a 14-metre light tunnel in shades of blue and teal. Young visitors will be thrilled by an interactive playground with touch-sensitive tiles.Your ticket to "Wild America" supports two key conservation projects in South America. The first project aims to save the critically endangered Chaco peccary, whose population has dwindled to below 5,000. The second project is led by the international organisation Re:Wild and focuses on forest conservation, ecosystem restoration and creating new protected areas, as well as supporting local communities in defending their lands in the Amazon and the Andes. This experience turns admiration into action and action into hope for the future of endangered species.
