Barbados is famous for its rum, and there's no better way to sample the island's favourite drink than a rum and lunch tour. You'll get a real taste of island life, complete with a Bajan meal with an afternoon at Mount Gay Rum – complete with tastings.Set along the Caribbean coastline, Mount Gay's distilleries bottle up the very best of Barbados. You'll start things off with a welcome rum punch to get you in the spirit, then hear all about the history of Mount Gay. You'll also watch a short film that gives you a behind-the-scenes look at how the rum is made and the story behind it.Then comes the main event – four classic rum tastings. After that, you'll tuck into a tasty Bajan lunch, before having time to browse the shop and pick up a bottle or two to take a bit of Barbados home with you.
