It wasn't much of a boat trip, it was just a swim stop. We sailed 500metres along the coast then had a 45minute stop to swim. At least 50% on board didn't want a swim. We then sailed another 500metres and had another stop for a swim, this time for an hour. We then had food which was pretty average, but I didn't expect more. We then sailed back past the port to another non descript bay for another swim stop again for an hour. We didn't see much of the island at all, so wasn't really a boat trip.

Overall, a great experience! The staff were lovely and the food was nice! We did feel the trip was a little overpriced as could get a similar trip which was not organised through TUI half the price. Our TUI rep was fantastic, really informative and helpful, and the trip was very well organised. The only thing that would have made it even better would be having sun loungers on the boat!

Beautiful sights, lunch was good for that type of trip. However biggest issues were some passengers jumping in the sea which became quite dangerous with children not looking where they were jumping, taking a run up to dive off the ship. Needs to have more tables so people can eat properly. Some passengers reserving several spaces to sit so they got best of the sun. Rep should have monitored the shop more than she did.

A really lovely trip out and explore of some of the beaches in the south of the island. Plenty of opportunities to swim. Really grateful for TUI and the boat staff for looking after our child’s dietary requirements for the bbq onboard. Sometimes it was hard to hear what the captain was saying over the PA. All in all an excellent day trip well worth doing.

Cruise itself was excellent highlight of our holiday. No safety instructions given but the rep Jean-Paul is a gem. Going around talking to guests letting us know what's happening next and about the scenery etc. Food was excellent everyone had the very best day. Happy smiling faces.

Due to wind the trip had to be re-routed. We were only told this once we were already onboard so there was no option not to go. The TUI rep didn't communicate with anyone the whole time. We had a 2 hour journey to a small crowded beach where 4 other boats also pitched up - hardly the secluded coves we had paid for. I gave a rating of 3 for staff as the boat crew worked really hard, I would give them a higher score but the TUI rep was so poor. Value for money got 3 because the lunch was ok.

The ride was pleasant and the swims very good in places and poor in others (marble beach is overrated and had a Crane and a digger on the side of the beach, not so picturesque). We found that the barbecue right at the top of the stairs where punters climb to the upper desk was a health and safety hazard as fat spits onto you as you climb. Also, a hot lump of meat fell nearly on top of our heads when they were cooking it and we were descending the stairs. would add more but not enough characters

Great day out, sailing from the old port in Thassos town to several bays in the south including Marble Beach and Makryammos. Each swim stop was around 40 minutes, and a bbq lunch was provided on board. Great crew, great atmosphere, great way to see the coastline of Thassos.

The confirmation email stated a pick up time of 8:30, when in fact pick up was 8:15. Only pork/beef unless specifically asked (but this was not made clear, luckily we already questioned) Free drinks we were told would be available were only available at the beginning of the trip, when we asked we were told we had missed out and should have had them at the beginning but we were not told this. Doors on the toilets were not lockable Not clear what to do/where to go after to go home

We were a little worried when our pick up didn’t come on time and it was only my husband and I rather than a large group going as it usually is but we were really pleased when a taxi arrived with 2 other ladies in and he took us right to the port and on the way home took us back to our hotel which saved us a hike so we were really happy with the transport. Trip was well organised and was good to have a TUI rep onboard, the boat staff were really friendly and explained everything perfectly

no commentary on board about safety proceedures or about the areas of interest. Local rep had requested chicken as I dont eat pork. Rep sai they did have chicken for me but went for lunch and they didnt have any and no one told them. According to rep someone else had been given it. The pasta salad had ham pieces in it. When it came to paying by card for drinks the card machine didnt work. Rep said to go to bank or do a bank transfer to boat company! Not enough room to finish complaint.

I pre ordered a vegetarian meal with our TUI rep sue. On the boat I told staff I was vegetarian and they gave me what I trusted was. After eating almost all the pasta I looked down and there was meat mixed throughout the pasta. I told Katrina (TUI rep) who confirmed she had looked and it appeared it was salami. I have not eaten meat for 35 years and then spent the rest of the boat trip feeling sick and the remainder of my evening being sick. This spoilt the trip which was an anniversary gift

Very good bbq lunch. Boat wasn't very comfortable. Most of the stops for swimming were good but not the stop by the marble quarry, this seemed a strange choice, I'm sure that there are better places to stop for swimming. More noodles for the weaker swimmers would be a good idea.

Zuerst sind wir mit einer Stunde Verspätung erst losgefahren. Es war ein planloses Schippern im Meer. Es wurde weder erklärt, wo wir gerade sind noch wie lange wir bleiben. Es hat eine Begleitung gefehlt. Die Crew hat sich nicht für die Gäste interessiert. Das Freigetränk zum Mittagessen hat es nicht gegeben! Die Belästigung durch die Abgase des Schiffes war enorm! Insgesamt schade uns Geld!

The description in the tui app suggested the trip would be a journey around the coastline with the occasional stop to swim. What we actually got was a trip no further than a mile from port stopping at 4 beaches all in sight of one another. Each stop was an hour in length and 2 hours for lunch. I like a swim, but unless you are training for the Olympics then 5 hours is excessive! More of the beautiful coastline and less stops would be better in my opinion and a change of description the app.

The trip itinerary was changed and we weren't informed until after we had sailed. There was no beach stop for lunch, so we all just sat on the boat and waited 1.5 hours for lunch to be prepared. We had 2 vegetarians who didn't get their ordered meal. The second swim stop was less than 20 minutes.

Southern Delights is actually Norther Delights!! Fabulous time although, none of the staff explained anything. No one said which bay we were in, how long we had at each stop or even when lunch was being served. It was a complete mystery trip!!!

No safety guidance from the crew It was literally 15 minutes down the coast & stop for 1 hour then another 5 minutes down the coast to stop for 2 hours while lunch while lunch was cooked, which was very tasty The trip back to the harbour felt rushed, I'm assuming there was a sunset trip going out after ours ended I feel more stops for shorter lengths of time would be better as most people were sharing how bored they were waiting once they had had a swim. Not up to TUI's normally high standards

Firstly it wasn't southern delights, that is now Northern delights, thr boat leaves Thassos then just out of site of the harbour it stops at awful beach that is a quarry, it stays here about an hour, it then goes about 10 mins further and stops in a bay, not even a pretty bay can't even swim ashore, an hour here then 10 mins to a beach with a hotel in where lunch is served, 2 hours here then 30 mins back to Thassos, no commentary, an expensive bar, worst boat trip I have ever been on our of many

On arrival harbour no indication of what boat we should be on as no TUI rep available only by being with other TUI customers did we identify we were on the right boat. No safety briefing , no guide as to where we was going & no checking of ticket so anyone could have boarded the boat. No secluded stops & a dusty Working quarry was not what was advertised. BBQ stop was far too long as took an age for food to be ready. Worst TUI organised cruise ever been on. Totally miss sold cruise.

Hi to advise, we have just got onto the coach to return to our hotel, having booked the 'southern cruise.' Only to have been driven to the north of the island. And gone on one of the worst boat trips I have ever beenon. To give prior warning, we will be making a formal complaint. We were given no information that we would be put on a different cruise to what we had booked and paid for. No communication from TUI or the cruise team. An absolute rip off and I require a full refund.

The trip was not as advertised and contrary to what we wanted.. The trip was in the north and the boat different which was too small for the number of passengers and had inadequate/poorseating ( I sat on the gangplank), some people had to eat standing up due to lack of seats. Smoking was allowed everywhere. The admin was poor, we were told to go to the wrong place for pick up resulting in us waiting in extreme heat for 40 minutes. A separate complaint made on the day but no response so far.

Too many people on board for size of boat as a person with a disability found its not suitable should have been informed when we booked did ask was told it would be ok but it's quite a walk from drop off to the actual boat and as I said the boat was packed with large groups one off which brought on there own alcohol and drank all the way crew never stopped them and to me that was dangerous and spoiled everyone else's day

Absolutely terrible excursion. The bus was an hour late, no communication, we were dropped in town and just left, luckily a lady was an ex Tui rep so she called Tui, eventually a guy came and frog marched us to a boat, there were barely any seats left, no where to lie down. When we eventually sailed we barely went anywhere before they dropped anchor, no communication again and we were told we would be there for 2 hours , then taken to a beach by a building site, told to come back at 2 for remain

The boat we went on was much smaller, and a different type than the one on the photograph. There was no opportunity to go ashore at any time, or to be in water less than about 3m deep, which meant less confident or non swimmers had to remain on board the whole time. The food was acceptable, though not great, and the staff were nice, the weather was beautiful. Not quite u to the usual Tui standard.

The trip was amazing from start to finish couldn’t fault it at all, my only complaint was talking to other passengers the price was different to ours, also same day as we booked our trip with the rep it came up on my app to book the same trip for 9euros less per person how do you justify that??

I love swimming and snorkelling. This meant that swim stops were good for me. There were others on the boat who would not go into the water particularly due to the depth. A beach stop with a chance to wander in a small town would be good for those people. I also feel that the stops were in places that weren’t that interesting. If the boat had gone in the opposite direction the views of the cliffs would have been stunning. BBQ was good and the prices of drinks purchased was good too. Thank you.

Picked up from hotel and taken direct to boat. Everything on time. Boat was in excellent condition. The sailing took us past some lovely coves and beaches. The sea was a beautiful colour ever changing. Lunch was a nice BBQ steak and a Greek salad. Small bar on board at reasonable prices. Some great stops for swimming from the boat. A great trip. No issues really. The boat crew could possibly make a few more annotating the route to what we were looking at. They did make some to be fair though.

Your typical boat trip. A nice clean and tidy boat, with plenty of room and seating. Friendly boat crew. 4 good opportunities to jump/climb off boat and swim in clear, clean and warm water. Nice lunch. Only downside was that, when travelling from north of the island, be prepared for a transfer of almost 1.5 hrs there, and again back.

The BBQ lunch was lovely, the morning bread and coffee were pleasant, the crew were very friendly and the prices onboard were very reasonable. The pickup was a little late (Greek time :) ) and the driver then seemed to be in a bit of a rush but that did not diminish our enjoyment of the excursion in the end.

The cruise itself was fantastic however the coach driver who picked us up was driving a full coach on windy roads hands free because he was using his mobile phone. So dangerous. He then stopped and changed drivers and he was fantastic but the first driver put everyone in that coach at risk.

Great swim stops, as long as you are okay with deep water swimming from a boat. You need your own mask and snorkel or goggles.Good quality food. Some stretches were a bit choppy and nausea inducing, but that's just down to the weather. Recommend taking travel sickness tablets if you are prone to motion sickness.

Over all we loved it, the views and the chance to swim at stops made it for me and my two boys. Although it was ok, the food was a little bit of a letdown, completely understand their can’t be loads of choices but but stake can be an acquired taste and personality didn’t enjoy as to chewy. The captain and crew were brilliant and even though there was an accident involving a customer hurting their leg they handled it as best as possible and all worked to keep her as comfortable as possible

Lovely trip, stopped at 4 places for swimming off the boat which was relaxing and refreshing. Minor downside was that the barbecue for pescatarians was a basic tin of tuna and not fresh fish as anticipated. Surprising for an island full of fishing. Meat eaters well catered for. We didn't do the full south coast unfortunately due to the wind direction. Overall I would recommend this. Boat has plenty of shade too.

Lovely trip. Had a shared taxis to the port and the driver told us about the places we went past. Boat was a nice size with lots of places to sit in shade or sun. Stopped in several bays for swimming in crystal clear warm water. Lunch was delicious. Only negative was the number of wasps that appear whenever food is around.

As an older couple we found it difficult getting into and out of the sea. Apart from that all was good, nice crew and a very pleasant day.

It would have been nice to anchor closer into the shore to enable swimmers who are not so provisiant and do not enjoy swimming in deep water also having the bbq on a beach would have enhanced the experience

It was a very relaxing trip with 4 swim stops. The staff were really nice and helpful. Lunch was reasonably basic, but tasty (bread, BBQ meats and salad). One of the most relaxing boat trips I've been on. Only minor disappointment was that we were told a small boat would take us to shore to a village to look around at lunchtime. This did not happen and we were not offered this option. Having said that we really enjoyed the trip, but when booking it is helpful to give correct trip details.

Staff and boat were excellent as was the food and service but there is not much of great interest to sea along the sea route; maybe not much you can do about that. On our trip the route was cut short because of the winds/tides/ waves.

There werent too many people on the boat, most were British and everyone was friendly. The crew were friendly and helpful too. The meal was nice and the wine went down well ( some people asked for seconds) Plenty of shade and comfy seats as well.

Excellent trip with helpful friendly staff. We were disappointed we didn't see Aphrodite's Tear or have a bbq on the beach but appreciated the captain's decision to avoid the afternoon wind and swell! We were given adequate time at each of the the four swim stops. Wouldn't hesitate to plan a repeat trip next year in the hope of going the planned route!

Very expensive for what was offered- food extremely basic- vegetarian option was limited and basic, the meal was basic and not much was given and I do not eat a lot. There were not enough actual beach stops were you could anchor and actually go to the beach. The seating was very uncomfortable and the lay out on the top deck could have been better thought out. I was disappointed with this trip as I expected a lot more for the amount of money paid per person - not good value at all.

Very well organised. Staff friendly. Beautiful stop offs. Tasty bbq food and drink. Aliniki stop off was good for us as we were mobile and had good mobility, however the scramble across the rocks was a little dangerous in my opinion and a better route would be beneficial so others can have the opportunity to see this beautiful place. Especially the archaeological site there.

I had a great day on the cruise. It was a shame it was too windy to get round to Aliki but the cruise was still worth doing. The swim stops were beautiful and the food served for lunch was delicious. I was the only solo traveller on the trip but wasn't bothered by it.

This was not as advertised was told would not be over crowded was only bench seats for all day was suggested that we would have space to sunbathe this was seat only boat and mostly under cover ..made most of day but was not as expected…swimming was fabulous barbecue lunch was a stretch on chop ans salad a poor sweet roll for breakfast .. disappointing and not good value for money
