What to expect
The west coast of Boa Vista usually provides stunning sunsets across the South Atlantic. Admire the colours of dusk with your special someone over a delicious dinner, followed by some live drumming and mellow tunes on the beach. Carlo, one of our expert local guides, says: ‘Cape Verde's music is one of the most important strands of our heritage and culture. There are a variety of styles unique to the islands, and you will hear a mix of some of our traditional music together with international tunes performed after dinner by local musicians.'You'll be whisked off to the island-renowned Morabeza Beach Club well before the sun begins its descent over the water. Take your seat and while away the time with a glass of the local cocktail, Ponche, in your hand and the sound of the waves in your ears. The beach club has a natural theme and a stress-free vibe, with tables directly on the beach. The beautiful tropical sunset would be all the visual entertainment needed, but there are plenty of treats to come.As the light dims, a bonfire is lit and African drummers start to provide a soundtrack of infectious beats giving you a flavour of the local culture. Then it's time to sit down and enjoy a delicious buffet dinner, with a selection of grilled meats, vegetables, and freshly-caught fish - plus a drink to wash it all down. A live band will play laid-back music during your meal, and up the tempo later on, so you can dance the night away with the sand between your toes. What is the itinerary for this experience? The trip is excessively overpriced for what the experience offered, generally cheap food, only a short transfer. We were rushed through like a food chain drive-through. Rushed our poor starter to move outside for the show, the show wasn’t even ready and we had to sit on uncomfortable benched for over 20 minutes whilst the show wasn’t even set up. Then back to the dinner. Then over an hour to do nothing.

Not a great experience. We visited 3 years ago go and it was great. This year the whole experience was rushed, the food was not good, the steak was faty and chewy and the chicken was overcooked and dry. The entertainment was ok. The whole evening felt like you you were there as a money maker for the restaurant and not there for the no stress experience. The restaurant has become to commercial and does not give you the dining experience that you would expect

Bij het boeken werd er gezegd dat het rond 22u gedaan is en ten laatste 22u30 terug in het hotel. Dit klopte niet het was al afgelopen om 21u en de meeste mensen hadden hun dessert nog niet gekregen. Dit was wel niet zo leuk. Maar ging nog één party starten om 21u30. Dus iets klopt er niet.

Essen war ok. Location war super, aber nicht der Tisch direkt am Meer. Showprogramm war super. Was nicht geklappt hat, war der Transfer vom Hotel. Wir haben für 10€ ein Taxi genommen. Keine Erstattung von TUI, weil letztendlich der Fehler immer beim Gast ist. Und TUI vor Ort nicht verantwortlich für Onlinebuchungen ist. Willkommen im Service und der Digitalisierung in Deitschland.

Very disappointed by Tui as no rep was at the meet at greet with the bus and there was no rep when we arrived at the restaurant. The restaurant staff were amazing and the experience was great. Only issue was no Tui staff there and bus driver told us 21:00 pick up time so we didn’t have any time to enjoy the dessert or more of the music. Again if the Tui reps were actually there that could have been sorted and avoid the rushed course

I feel that we paid for the general public to have free entertainment that we paid for. The staff were polite and friendly and food ok. We could have paid 10 euro for a taxi ourselves,had a meal of our choice & enjoyed the entertainment paid by the TUI guests. I feel this is a rip off and you should be more truthful when selling it as a trip. We have done these evenings before on Sal and it was on a private beach just for the paying guests. You could learn from these trips

I enjoyed it but i overheard a waiter tell a customer to just be patient, she was only going to the bar to get a drink as they waited a long time for their free one. My veggie meal was lovely but my husband was ill early in the morning with food poisoning potentially from the chicken. You could check this with other customers review on the same night.

The entertainment was fantastic but there were long periods of waiting. Very uncomfortable seating for both the entertainment and dinner. There was no beach fire as advertised. Felt like an opportunity to sell you photos predominantly.

This trip was an absolute rip off. No sunset, no fire pit, no reggae band. For 10 euros I could have gone to the bar watched the same show and had a steak meal for 20 euros. Tui charged me and my partner 140 euros when we could have spent 60 euros and got the same experience. Told rep Alicia who was not interested in my feed back and said she would pass it on obviously didn’t as my friend went out 2 days later and still no lit fire pit and they had the cheek to place out tip jars.

It was a nice evening out of the hotel, with authentic African experience. It is a nice spot with picture- ready scenery. The drum show was really good, the fire show was ok but we saw an excellent one in Marrakesh couple of years back and it is difficult to beat that unfortunately. Food was nice, simple but tasty. After dinner we had some music live show, a bit too mellow for my liking but nice performance.

Very disappointed to the extent we left after the starter. The food was bland and what you would exspect from a children's party. Chicken nuggets,pizza and fish cakes. Which was fine for the 8 year old child which unespectably attended who decided to have a meltdown for not getting her own. Not what we exspected to see at a romantic meal. The entertainment turned up and attempted to start the fire pit so we had the treat of smelling of lighter fuel. Very disappointing

I think this was a very disappointing experience in terms of what we paid for and what were expecting, we thought we were going to be treated to a nice table serviced meal on the beach and then be able to watch a traditional show. We had a table inside the hut with a large crowd and then having to que for a buffet dinner, the tuna was cooked with the steak and chicken (not good for a pescatarian) we were taken for photos that cost an extra 30E and ended up with the worst view of the show.

Paid a lot of money for only a buffet. Starters were not very nice, all deep fat fried. Main course choice was poor. Only pork, chicken, tuna and beef which was also a buffet. All overcooked. The normal menu was not available on this tour, would have chosen something else. Seemed very unorganised for a trip that they provide 3 x per week!

Experience was great pick up was on time, staff at the restaurant were friendly and helpful. Choose of food was excellent. It was my son's birthday they decorated our table and gave him a special dessert and sung happy birthday to him. Entertainment was really good and they got everyone involved. Overall a really good night out.

We really enjoyed our night, but just a few improvements if possible. The bus was very full meaning our family of 5 were separated around the coach. A little more 'free time' while at the restaurant would have been nice & as we were one of the last to go up for food the meat wasn't he best, abit tough, but accept this was in part because we were the last to eat.

It was our 30th wedding anniversary and my husbands birthday. They had decorated the table and also brought a cake out for my husband and sang happy birthday. We had a lovely evening on the beach, having the meal and watching the fire eaters. Only downside was the sunset didn't exist as it was cloudy!! Obviously nothing anyone can do about that, but was a great trip

Absolutely fantastic night! Have recommended to people here at the hotel. The only thing that let it down was the service, very slow and hour to get starter ( which was buffet style) and over 30 mins to get a drink. Staff lovely though, and the fireman was just stunning !!!

Ohne dass es gesagt wurde hatten wir eigentlich Bild von einem Tisch am Strand im Kopf und waren darum am Anfang etwas verwundert, dass das Essen in der Strandbar statt findet, in der wir ja auch schon bei der Inselrundfahrt waren. Aber durch die Feuershow und das ganze drum herum war es dann doch ein rund um gelungener Abend, der zu empfehlen ist!

The dinner was very over subscribed for a Saturday night. Not enough staff to serve so many people - TUI trip (coach and a half worth) normal customers looking for a meal, plus the locals for a normal Saturday night. Unfortunately the service suffered as they just didn’t have staff to deal with it all. Felt expensive at the price. Personally I would get a taxi to the restaurant and order from the main menu. The music and fire show are done many nights a week for all customers- not just Tui

Without question one of the best nights available on the island. You have your own table, not sharing which we thought it might be. Not a problem but own was better. The food was best we have had all week. Drinks 1 double gin 1 v large beer €12 so not overpriced. The dancing was fun, the Dude singing Bob Marley tunes during and after the meal. Brilliant all round.

No atmosphere, they had local radio playing for beginning of evening, felt pressured to have photos taken by their photographer, food is same as hotel as is the wine… African dancing not great, made us sing free Uganda over and over again, very political, felt very pressured into giving tips to dancers. The setting was gorgeous, the staff super friendly, the food amazing. The entertainment.. well what can I say. Great music, fabulous energetic dancing and the fireman! Well you just have to see it to believe it. The only thing that I would improve is seating everyone closer to the time of the show. We were sat for quite a while on hard seating. Otherwise a perfect evening

Klimatyczna restauracja nad oceanem. Personel świetnie przygotowany do przyjęcia gości. Świetny pokaz taneczno - muzyczny w cenie oraz Muzyka na żywo 🤩 Jeśli chcecie coś więcej z restauracji ponad to co jest wliczone w cenie wycieczki to musicie przygotować się na ceny Europejskie ale idzie wytrzymać ;) Jedyny minus że nie zawsze zachód słońca faktycznie będzie można oglądać ... należy od pogody i zachmurzenia. Wycieczka ta była świetnym zwieńczeniem naszego pobytu na Boa Vista. Polecamy

Ein fantastischer Abend um das Gefühl zu erwecken auf Boa Vista angekommen zu sein. Ambiente Essen, Gesellschaft, alles hat gepasst um einen super schönen Abend in einer enheimischen Atmosphäre zu genießen.

Poor
Food ran out and was very poor quality like very bad frozen food. No plates halfway thru and felt sheepered around like sheep. Completely disgusted with this trip for 65 euro a head . Ended up taking a cab back home to hotel to get some food so missed entertainment second act. Will post review on social media accordingly
