Reindeer and husky farm tour with snowmobiling

Experience an action-packed arctic journey where you get to ride snowmobiles through stunning wilderness, meet enchanting reindeer, and energetic Alaskan Huskies. Your experience begins with a meeting at the Safari Office or at the City Office, where you'll be greeted by your guide. You'll then gear up in warm winter overalls to ensure you're comfortable and protected during the ride. Next, your guide will check driving licenses for those who will be operating a snowmobile, followed by a safety briefing to go over important guidelines for a safe and enjoyable experience. Before setting off with the snowmobiles, your guide will give detailed driving instructions. After all the safety instructions are done, the real fun begins when it´s time to start your 1-hour long journey through stunning Arctic landscapes!About halfway through, you’ll take a short break, giving you the chance to take some photos and switch drivers if you are traveling in pairs.After the snowmobile journey, visit the husky and reindeers at Reindeer Manor, located about 20-minutes drive away from the center of Rovaniemi, where you can enjoy a 500m ride on your own reindeer sledge and receive a reindeer sledge driver’s license. Next, make your way to the Alaskan Huskies and experience them in action on a 500m long sleigh ride. Listen to the local reindeer herders as they tell you more about the herding lifestyle and how it is to be a reindeer herder in the 21st century.
