What to expect
Start the tour with a fun drive to the rafting take-off point via Skippers Canyon. The drive is an experience in itself; the narrow dirt road hugs the canyon's sheer cliffs and offers spectacular views over the river you'll soon be soaring down. At the rafting base, get fitted in all your gear and listen to a full safety briefing. The rapids can change on a daily basis but rest assured your guides are expertly trained and have a keen sense of adventure. They will guide you through canyons and help you navigate rapids. Begin your whitewater rafting adventure from Deep Creek. Cruise over peaceful waters before heading towards the exhilarating rapids of the lower canyon. Feel the adrenaline pumping as you paddle through the rapids and into the darkness of the historic, 550-foot Oxenbridge Tunnel before shooting over Cascade Rapid to complete your adventure.Enjoy a hot shower at the rafting base before returning to Queenstown.

What to remember
You must be at least 13 years old to join this tour, but those under 18 years old must sign a guardian's permission
It's recommended that you are competent in the water and have a moderate fitness level to join this tour. However, if you have a heart condition or are currently taking heart medication, it's recommended that you do not participate
You must be at least 40 kg and not heavier than 120kg to join this tour
Bring your swimsuit and towel. It is advised that you don't bring any valuables with you, but there's a small valuables locker at the Rafting Base if you need it
The rafting activities involves a degree of risk and the local operator cannot absolutely guarantee participants' safety
For safety reasons the itinerary and river is subject to change
Please reconfirm at least 24 hours prior to departure to ensure your trip will be operating as all trips operate dependent on weather, river level, and/or water temperature
