Discover the Roman Ruins of Conímbriga on this full-day bike trip from Coimbra!After picking up your bicycle in Coimbra, follow the routes duly marked on the Carmelite Route (Caminhos de Fátima) to the Ruins. On the way back, take the route of the Central Portuguese Way (Caminhos de Santiago). The route is about 17 km to reach the Ruins and 17 km back, with a total positive difference of 700D+.Conímbriga is the most notable archaeological site from the Roman period in Portugal and also the most visited! You can also visit the Conímbriga Monographic Museum and enjoy the exhibition of objects from the excavation.
