What to expect
Depart from the centre of Bordeaux by van to discover the beautiful vineyards of the Margaux appellation. Your first stop is a wine estate where you can sample 3 wines and learn about the unique characteristics of this prestigious appellation.As you take in the sprawling vineyards, you'll learn about the different grape varieties used to produce Margaux wines. You'll also have the chance to speak with wine experts, who will explain their production and winemaking techniques.Next, stop at the famous Château Margaux for a photo opportunity, then continue to your second guided tour at a fifth Grand Cru. Here, you can discover the history and architecture of this iconic château while tasting at least 3 of its wines.This small-group tour provides an ideal setting in which to learn about the art of winemaking and tasting, and there will be plenty of opportunities to ask your knowledgeable guide questions.
