What to expect

Who would have realised the Albanian Riviera was within such easy reach from Corfu? Switch up your holiday with a full day in Saranda, a beachfront city with an enviable curve of Ionian coastline. You'll be picked up from your hotel and taken to Corfu Port, where you'll hop on a ferry and land in Albania by late morning. Then, Saranda is yours to explore for around seven hours, after which you'll catch the ferry back to Corfu in the early evening. As well as a buzzing beach and bar scene, there's the hilltop fortress of Lekuresi Castle you could visit for views across the Ionian Sea, all the way to Corfu.

The transfer from the hotel was around 20 minutes with no communication from TUI and the reps in aqualand gave conflicting instructions about where the pick up would be. (Outside at the bus stop or reception, no one seemed to be sure) The Finikas Lines reps were very helpful in both Greece and Albania. We only booked the ferry crossing and hotel transfer so had the full day to explore at our own pace. We enjoyed visiting Sarande and would visit again given the opportunity

Ik ben erg verbaasd dat we eerst keer een dagje uitje in Sarande Albanie om groter winkelcentrum om ik met euro's betaalt, kreeg ik het wisselgeld vrijwel altijd terug in Albanese lek.

Excursion libre trop courte et pas à la hauteur du prix de la prestation. Personne qui propose les excursions souvent absente de l hôtel. Aucun guide tui pour accompagner dans un pays étranger. Aucune information en amont sur l horaire précis au port pour le retour... vraiment léger !!

Der Ausflug wurde über einen Drittanbieter unorganisiert durchgeführt. Aufgrund fehlender Informationen musste man sich Infos selbst erfragen (beispielsweise wann die Rückfahrt der Fähre ist). Im Bus wurden pro Person 20€ zusätzliche Gebühr verlangt. Die Höhe der Gebühr hätte im Vorfeld transparent sein müssen.

Actual ferry tickets cost about 14 euros, we were charged 50 euros. Spent 5 hours out of 12 hours sat in queues, nearly missed bus home. Disorganised mess that I would not recommend to anyone

I feel completely scammed. £44 for a pick up & a return boat & being told we had to pay 20 euros “tax” to get our boarding pass. It was very unofficial & I received no receipt. We have always trusted Tui & your experiences but this time I am so unhappy.
