What to expect
Travel back in time to the former Roman town of Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986, with Roman, Visigoth, Muslim and Portuguese influence. In Évora history will cross paths with you at every corner as it is a big puzzle of historical monuments with more than 1000 years old. The walking tour starts at São Francisco church and the Bones Chapel, one of the must-see places.Heading next to the medieval heart of the city you'll find the biggest cathedral in Portugal and also some antique testimonials like the Roman Temple and the Roman Baths.You'll also have time for lunch, an olive oil tasting, and free time to shop.
