What to expect

River Safari, the newest addition to Wildlife Reserves Singapore’s portfolio of award-winning parks, is Asia’s first and only river-themed wildlife park.Occupying 12 hectares, the park is home to 400 plant species and over 7,500 aquatic and terrestrial animals representing close to 240 species, including one of the world’s largest collections of freshwater animals.River Safari aims to inspire visitors to appreciate and protect fragile freshwater ecosystems, and is home to threatened species such as the giant panda, manatee, and Mekong giant catfish. These magnificent animals are housed in themed exhibits that mirror iconic rivers of the world from the Mississippi to the Amazon.

What to remember

Know in advance:

A 5 SGD surcharge applies to all taxis leaving Mandai Wildlife Reserve between 01:00 pm and 11:59 pm daily to ensure more taxis are available during peak hours

Daily opening hours are between 10.00 am and 07.00 pm. Last admission at 06.00 pm

Free entrance for infants under 3 years

A child is defined as a person between 3 and 12 years of age. A senior is defined as a person 60 years of age and above

Children who are 1.06m and taller are welcome to embark on Amazon River Quest

Admission is at the voucher holder's own risk. The park operator will not be responsible for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by the voucher holder while in the park

Voucher holder agrees not to use photographs/ recording in the park for commercial purposes. Photographs/recordings may be taken of any park visitor for any purpose, without prior approval or compensation

In the event of a dispute, the park's electronic records shall prevail

Starting from 1 April, the operating hours of River Wonders will be revised as follows: River Wonders will be open from 9.00 am to 06.00 pm (last entry at 05.00 pm); Giant Panda Exhibit from 09.30 am to 06.00 pm; Amazonia Encounters from 09.30 am to 06.00 pm; and Amazon River Quest from 10.00 am to 06.00 pm(last entry at 05.00 pm)

To prevent congestion, kindly use other available bays for drop-offs and parking.
