What to expect
Don't miss out on this five-hour Arabian experience within the natural reserve of Ras Al Khaimah. “Bassata” means “simplicity” in Arabic, which is the atmosphere of the camp plus excitement and wonder.Enjoy an entertaining program including traditional belly dancing and the Arabic Folkloric Tanoura. You will also have the chance to get a fascinating henna tattoo. For adventure lovers, the camp offers camel rides and sandboarding. While sipping an Arabic coffee and tasting dates you can decide on which activities you prefer. The chef is also a barbeque grill master which you'll be grateful for when you taste the Arabic dishes to complete the memorable event.

What to remember
From October to April: pickup time is between 02.00 pm to 03.00 pm, depending on your hotel location in Ras Al Khaimah
From May to September: pickup time is between 04.00 pm to 05.00 pm, depending on your hotel location in Ras Al Khaimah
Please call the local operator at least 48 hours before the tour to re-confirm your pickup time. You will find the tour operators information on the voucher after booking
There is a minimum of 2 adults to complete the booking
Due to the nature of this activity, it is not recommended for passengers under 6 years or over 65 years, expectant mothers and guests with pre-existing medical conditions
During the holy month of Ramadan, no entertainment and no alcoholic drinks will be served
The camp features designated areas for Shisha smoking. An additional cost (60 AED to pay on-site) will apply if Shisha is required at the tables

Driver helpful, show good fun. Too many cars on safari, easy for accident to occur. Food not great at camp. Entertainment was varied and fun. A schedule of the day would be useful in advance along with guide to clothing, shoes, big spray etc. An option to not do dune bashing would be good as some other people do vomit!

The overall trip was excellent,the only issue we had and not so much an issue is that having 6 adults in the 4 x 4 is the back seats are that you are sitting with no real leg room and when we were picked up from the hotel as my husband has both knees replaced we had to ask one of the other guests to sit in the back with me so my opinion would be is to only have 4 adults and maybe 2 children at a time and if no children in the group you go with just 4 adults

This Desert Safari trip is amazing! Its a must do if you go to Dubai! Our driver was absolutely amazing and made it very enjoyable for my husband, myself and our 2 sons (14&20) He was punctual, experienced and very friendly. Our son's loved the sand dunes and the action!! The food and entertainment was also incredible.

Guide was brilliant. Safari was very good and fun. The food wasn’t great at all, but you’re in the middle of a desert so understandable. Quite expensive for what it was.

7 people crammed in one vehicle.
Food was ok but could have been warmer
The dune experience in the 4x4 was very good but was not informed there was the choice to do quad bike or buggy experience also
Sand duning very disappointing, awful location made it impossible to do.
