What to expect
Tunisia's culture and cuisine are as exotic as her spice-scented souks suggest. And with hospitality as friendly as this, you'll not want to leave.Experience an evening of traditional Tunisian food and entertainment, worthy of a sheikh's court. You'll start off with a guided tour of a reconstructed medina, where the cafes, market stalls and buildings have all been designed to showcase Arabian culture. From here, you'll head to the Museum of Religions and the Palace of the Thousand and One Nights, before hopping on a replica of the pirate ship Barberousse. The real vessel used to sail around in the 15th century. Afterwards, a meze of tasty local dishes will be waiting to warm up your appetite, courtesy of some of the country's best chefs. Quality live performances will accompany you across the evening as you embrace the arabesque atmosphere. The stars of the night are the storytelling sessions. Scheherazade will seduce you with a spellbinding show based on the classic Middle Eastern folk tale, One Thousand and One Nights.

The guide was knowledgeable, the tour staff was friendly, lots of waiting around. When you got to the show you had to share a table of 9 my party was 3 people and we where sat with a French group who scared my children and bullied me in front of waiting staff and my kids. Waiting staff was rude poured wine for all the guests but me and told me I can pour it myself. Then became Sarcastic. I was shouted at my other guests and I wasn’t supported or moved. There was also cockroach at the table too

Je n'ai pas d'appréciation vu que cette activité a été reportée 2 fois pour manque de participants. Prévue mardi 9/12 puis reportée au vendredi 12/12 et annulée le jeudi 11/12 au soir. Le représentant TUI à l'hôtel nous a contacté le vendredi 12 à 10h afin de procéder au remboursement de 2x200 = 400 Dinars. Il nous a promis un mail de confirmation dans l'heure mais ce dimanche 14/12 à 8h je n'ai encore rien reçu.

We kregen onvoldoende info waardoor we het heel koud hadden bij de rondleiding in de Medina met bezoek musea. Er was ons verteld dat alles binnen was. We verwachtte alleen een diner en een show. Gids heel gedreven maar sprak zeer vlug. Mooie show maar niet te combineren met iets eten: in het donker!

Dans l'ensemble, c'était sympa Choqué de barbarossa. Trop de barbarie Pour le spectacle, cela aurait préférable d'expliquer les transitions sur les danses pour comprendre un peu Le spectacle était bien mais incompréhensible Le repas était bon

Le repas était bon mais froid, certains légumes pas cuits, et pas pratique de manger dans le noir. Concernant la conduite du bus, un peut plus de prudence serait préférable et plus professionnel. Le guide sur place était très sympathique et les visites intéressantes.

We enjoyed the guides and visits to the museums - they were very interesting. The guides were very good. We loved the dance show it was excellent. We would have liked information about the dancers. The food was not as good as we had been used to but we expected that. The only improvement would have been a chance to shop.

De TUI hostess heeft niet alles verteld waardoor andere gasten van het hotel zeer teleurgesteld waren. Wij hebben het een goede excursie gevonden maar het zou handig zijn dat de TUI hostess meer duidelijkheid geeft. Wij hadden bv gelezen dat er maar 2 drankjes bij inbegrepen zijn, hebben dit ook nagevraagd maar volgens de hostess klopte dat niet. Echter dit klopt wel, je hebt of een halve fles wijn, of 2 biertjes of 2 frisdranken per persoon. Dit is toch wel goed om te weten.

Dansshow was super! Eten was matig, vooral volgens NL gasten om mij heen. Vond zelf wel lekker. Zaten echter achteraf in de zaal in het donker ( eten niet te zien) . Anderhalf uur van binnenkomst tot show voelde lang. Wel top shows/ dansers!

Die beiden Museen und die Barbarossa Bootsfahrt vorher waren ein schöner Einstieg in den Abend. Die Show war super! Ich hätte mir eine vegetarische Alternative beim Essen gewünscht und zumindest eine Kennzeichnung der Speisen.

When we got to the medina the local guide wasn't there so there was lots of confusion. Where as the museums were interesting they also were very confusing as the guides would start in French and end in English so we didn't really know what was going on. The restaurant was too crowded and very hot. We were there for 1½ hours before we got our main course which we had to eat in the dark as the show had started. A fire risk too I would have thought

We hebben niet alleen de dinnershow gezien maar hebben ook 2 musea bekeken en in een attractie geweest over de historie van barbares. De kids vonden de musea niks maar dat was meer omdat er veel gesproken werd in veel talen.

We liked the show itself although the part when they cut the lovers head may be too much for children. We didn't like that ahead of the show we were taken to TWO museums and a smelly ride. The museums were ok but it was hot and he had to run through many stairs. The guides were talking a lot sometimes starting one sentence in French and finishing in English. There was no choice of food. Everybody got a plate with a big chunk of lamb with thick bone which was quite disgusting.

We were the only 2 people that knew about the museum tours at the beginning of the excursion. The part that says about the boat ride needs to actually be advertised as a fun fair ride because that is what it is, in a a fairground. The food was excellent as were the museum guides. We thoroughly enjoyed the museums. Overall is was a nice trip.

Wspaniala wycieczka. Ciekawe miejsca, super przewodnik mimo, ze w jezyku angielskim z poczuciem humoru potrafiacy przekazac ciekawe informacje. Wystep przepiekny, kolacja pyszna. Goraco polecam.

Pro - show is great Cons - lots of steps for those lrss mobile. Long wait for 1st course,2nd course served in the dark durkng the show, dessert served when we we due to leave. Guide left the coach before all passengers dropped off

Amazing show, top quality dancers and routine. Great story told through dance. Food excellent, remember to take some extra money as number of drinks are limited to 2 soft drinks/beers. Everybody worked really hard. Think the museum part should be a optional, time for shopping in madina would hve been better.

I enjoyed the dinner and the show. The hotel transfer was good and the guide was also good. I did not like that the museum and tour of the medina was included but not advertised. There were many on the tour who had young children and had clearly no idea that the trip was going to be so long and include things that they had no idea they had signed up for when booking a dinner and show.

This experience was more than just a show with dinner, before the show we visited a museum of religious history which I found extremely interesting but not to everybody’s taste and a place that had models depicting the story of 1001 nights which was ok but we probably spent a little bit too much time there. The dance show it’s self was very good and well worth the visit but, the overall experience was let down somewhat by the very poor quality of the the food. Overall well worth it I think.

we werdenontvangen door een gids die ons heeft rondgeleid in het in de Médina aanwezige museum. Hierna werden we overgedragen aan een andere gids die ons meenam naar de burcht van de sultan ook erg interessant. Wij waren erg verrast omdat de rondleidingen ons niet bekend waren. Een hele goede toevoeging op het programma. De dinnershow zelf was erg leuk. Eten was prima verzorgd. Helaas zijn drankjes wel aan de prijzige kant. 2 drankjes inbegrepen en daarna zelf betalen.

Die Show war gut, das Essen-bis auf die Vorspeisen-von schlechter Qualität. Wir hatten eine Deutsche Gruppe gebucht, außer uns waren nur französisch-sprechende und Engländer dabei. Die vorgeschlalten Führungen dauerten zu lange - die Fahrt im Vergnügungspark (Karthago) ggf. für Kinder geeignet nicht aber für Erwachsene!

The show was fantastic and the food was amazing, however, when booking it only mentioned a show and dinner, it did not mention anything about visiting museums and a cafe or a boat ride (which were all great and an integral build up to the show) and we didn’t eat until 8:30pm and my children were hungry and impatient because we weren’t expecting the tour. It was great and it was lovely to learn some history of Tunisia and see some culture in the markets but mentioning it would have been good!

The dancing was excellent but very long. Food was good but we ate it in the dark. The tour of the two museums was a bit bizarre as the guides had to speak in three languages and they ran one into the other! It was a bit of a surprise to go on a boat ride through historical montage. That was fun. A long night

Starts with a brief history tour of the Medina, then 1001 nights tour, mint tea and a show that was fantastic, the show dancers were terrific, the content exceptional, would not miss this for the world. Will recommend to all visitors.

Nous avons adoré la visite delà médina et des musées sela a été une belle surprise car cela étais pas marqué dans le descriptif de la réservation . Les guides étais au top et tres simpatique . Pour le spectacle on aurait espéré plus traditionnel tunisien et peut être moin long et le repas suivant mieux le spectacle et une table pour deux aurais été mieux pour 1 dîne en amoureux ... Nous nous sommes retrouvés avec des inconnus a table sela a été gênant sur pour la langue...
