What to expect
Sunset, music, barbecues and the sound of the sea – this afternoon catamaran cruise promises the chilled-out Ibiza vibe but in the middle of the Med. You'll sail out towards Espalmador, then kick off your flip flops for dinner, drinks, DJ music and sunset skies above.Leaving the sun-soaked shores of Ibiza behind, you'll skim the surface of the bright blue Med as you set sail towards the virgin island of Espalmador along Playa d'en Bossa. You'll moor up so that you can step off and explore its postcard white sandy beach and freshen up as your crew gets dinner underway.Back on board, and you'll get to tuck into a fresh barbecue of meat, fish, salads and fresh fruit as we sail the seas. There are plenty of photo opportunities along the way – think turquoise seas and inlets as the backdrop - and the chance to take one last dip before sailing back through the sunset. DJ music completes the scene.

Crew friendly and fun. Food delicious and plentiful. Great dance party in the way home as the sun set. Only improvement would be veggie option at bbq (they did offer a tub of hummus which was gratefully received). Would do again/ great fun.

Brilliant food, location, drinks and DJ set. We were lucky to see a beautiful full moon sunset! Shame about the moaning young children and toddlers who were having tantrums and crying most of the trip! This should be an adults only trip at such late in the evening, it gets very dark and lots of drunk adults - not suitable for children. I personally think there should be age restrictions here to truly enjoy the music and sunset!

The whole trip was very enjoyable. The stop at the beach Amazing & very Relaxing (about an hour & a half). The BBQ food was Awesome, lots of it!!! Drinks on board were plentiful!! The Crew & DJ were excellent!! Lots of fun had by all on board!!! Would recommend this trip!!!

The food was lovely and plentiful. The journey was great and the crew on board were very friendly. We took 2 children (6 & 8) and although they were 2 of only 3 children on board they had a great time.

The Pick up from the hotel was straight forward but we had a long trip from the north eastern side of the island. Catamaran cruise was enjoyable and well worth the money. A good family cruise. The barbecue was very good with a lovely selection of salads and meats. Drinks were free flowing with both alcoholic and soft drinks. We moored at the private island and swam in a clear blue sea wonderful. On the way back it was a proper party atmosphere with good music. Would recommend this trip

The whole trip was a perfect way of breaking up our week in an all-inclusive resort and was well-organised from the start to end. The staff running the trip were also lovely and could not do enough for you. Overall, the food was excellent, the music provided relaxing vibes and the private island was absolutely stunning!

The bus journey was terrible. Driver arrived 15 minutes late and drove erratically and was using 2 phones whilst driving. Then he tried to sell us bottles of beer/water. The actual catamaran trip was wonderful. Staff were amazing, food delicious and the experience was 100%. So good that we have booked to go again.

It was amazing - had a wonderful time. Music great, food delicious and well organised and drinks were free flowing. Only slight grumble was transfer to port was long as we were the first pick up so also the last on the way back.

All in all very good, this was our 2nd time doing this trip first was back in 2018. So the fact we booked again says it all really. Would like a bit more options on the drinks menu if possible. Food was good crew are great. Party with the DJ on board was fun.

Fantastic experience, great vibes and views. There are jellyfish in the sea at Espalmador, something it would have been good to have a heads up on as their stings can be pretty nasty. Also after all the free flowing alcohol and food on the boat they then stick you on a stuffy coach for the best part of an hour along windy and bumpy roads back to your hotel with no sick bags or anything, maybe something to review. Apart from that can't fault it.

If you’re debating whether to book this excursion or not, my advice is: it’s a definite must! The highlight of our holiday. The views were stunning, the beach that we visited was breathtaking, the food was (surprisingly) delicious and the DJ was awesome. It was magical!

We enjoyed everything, I don’t think it could be improved. The food and the DJ playing into the sunset was great. Best experience I have done on any TUI holiday and well worth the money. The all inclusive alcohol was also an added bonus.

Transfer from Bellamar hotel to catamaran was 1 hour 30 minutes. Transfer back slightly shorter. Being near San Antonio I thought wrongly that the shop would sale from there, but instead was surprised to find we sail from Ibiza town. No info on this was in the experience listing as far as I can see, luckily the actual boat and staff made up for the trip. Fun but let down by long transfer. Should have booked local.

The transfer was too long. There was no info regarding how long the transfer would be from our hotel (sea view) and almost an hour and a half transfer firstly put a downer on the trip and then the return detoured away from the hotel and was just horrible after a nice trip to see the sunset. I’d recommend the sunset and beach stop but it was slightly overcrowded and transfer ruined it for us.

Had the best night, it was a highlight of our holiday. We took our two children - 16 & 18 years old but there were younger children on board. Wouldn’t recommend for children under 10. The music, alcohol, food, sunset and swim was just awesome. Thoroughly recommend

Absolutely fantastic sunset cruise, was the highlight of our holiday. Music was fab, food plentiful and very good quality, went to beautiful beach and stunning scenery from start to finish. Staff friendly and happy. Captain's timing was impeccable so that we saw sunset over Es Vedra which was stunning. Highly recommend ??

It was abok catamaran trip. It was clean, the transfers were on time and quick and the food was really nice. But this is sold as a sunset trip. We had been in to san antoni to look as the sunset boat trips. And we wish we had gone with one of them. You get more for your money (Half the price) and get there see the sun set out side mumbas on the sea. The sun set we ‘saw’ was as we were travelling back going over the island. It was a disappointment. We had seen better sunsets at the hotel

Everything was amazing Except for the “DJ”. He needs shooting! he plays a really uplifting anthem and mixes poorly into some rubbish unknown low rate mp3. Killed the vibe on the boat at least 6 times on the way back. I mentally threw him overboard many times. I know kids that can mix better.

Epic trip to S'Espalmador, lovely sandy beach and beautiful warm sea to swim in. Takes your breath away. The food was well cooked and plenty of it and drink too. Enjoyed the party feel on board via the DJ. This time unfortunately there was a cloudy sky but still a magical sunset.

Definitely not a 5 star hotel. Lucky if you get to eat in a restaurant more than 4 times in a fortnight. Paid a lot of money to eat in a buffet every day and night. Nothing to eat past 3pm if you wanted a late lunch other than leaving the main resort and travelling to the retreat a family area.
