What to expect
One of Spain's most beautiful and unspoiled corners is right next door to the Algarve. Andalusia boasts landscapes of protected wetlands pockmarked by history-steeped towns. You'll visit the city of Huelva, Caravels Dock in La Rabida, stop off to explore El Rocío, as well as enjoy a visit to a winery. Maria, one of our expert local guides, says "apart from its religious significance, El Rocío is also known for its unique architectural style, characterised by whitewashed buildings with colourful trim and traditional wooden balconies. The town has a distinctly rustic and charming atmosphere, with sandy streets and a laidback vibe."You'll start the tour with a visit to the city of Huelva, where you'll spend some time wandering around one its markets. This place is perfect for getting to grips with the local way of life, and also buy any souvenirs you want to take home as mementos – colourful fans and leather goods are particularly popular here.Then, things take a spiritual turn at El Rocio – one of Spain's most important pilgrimage sites – where faith and tradition paint a vivid picture of Spanish culture. Drop by a shop specialising in frilly flamenco dresses, a true emblem of Spain. Enjoy some free time here to explore the town's charming streets. From here, you'll visit the Caravels Dock in La Rabida, where you'll get to snap up pics of this waterfront exhibition with life-size replicas of the ships Christopher Columbus used during his voyage to the Americas. You'll then round off your trip at Bollullos Winery for a tasting session.

The tour guide was interesting and made a very wet, windy day (storm Kirk) enjoyable. The whole day was varied and on the whole worth the money. Due to the wet weather we didnt really enjoy the first stop at Huevla, I imagine with some sunshine it would be so much better.

Enjoyed the tour round Huelva, market etc; the Colombus ships and tour of wine cellar and wine tasting. Would have been satisfied to have ended tour there. El Rocio reminded us of a cowboy film set! Would be better to do the wine tasting last. Enjoyable day. Guide very knowledgeable, working in German and English. Driver also did very well.

Gezeigt wurde die Markthalle von Huelva. Eine Stunde Aufenthalt in Huelva. Viel gab es nicht zu sehen bei freier Zeit. Kolumbus Museum sicherlich sehenswert. Der Ort Rocia sah aus wie eine leere Westernstadt. Viel gab es hier außer der Kirche nicht viel

Wer kurze Stadtbesuche mag bitte schön Bei jedem Stop 1 Stunde Freizeit Über den Markt in Huelva ging es mit Guide viel erzählt über Fisch Fleisch und Früchte aber nix über Entstehung und Tradition Da war das schönste noch die Weinverkostung wobei das Ambiente zu wünschen übrig lässt. Schwierig war für uns die 2sprachige Führung, hatten wir so noch nicht Für den Preis ohne Essen zu teuer

Uns hat die Tour mit Sevilla Besichtigung, Klosterbesichtigung u. Besichtigung von Rosito sehr gut gefallen. Die Informationen beim Weinbauer u. anschließende Weinprobe war sehr informativ. Ein sehr schöneer Ausflug mit umfassenden Informationen durch die Begleiter. Von unserer Seite gibt es keine Verbesserungsanmerkungen.

De gids deed het prima, we hebben veel bijgeleerd via haar over de plaatselijke gebruiken en zo meer. Enkel door het feit dat ze niet Nederlandstalig was misten we een deeltje, maar ze heeft zeker haar best gedaan...

fanden es sehr schade erst auf der Tour zu erfahren, dass die Karavellen nicht besichtigt werden können. Ansonsten war die Tour sehr schön hätten die Schiffe aber gern gesehen.

Kompetenter, humorvoller Guide. Sehr unterhaltsam. Die besuchten Ziele waren gut ausgewählt: Niebla mit Kirche, Altstadt und Burgruine. Weinkellerei mit Führung und Verkostung (vier Weine, dazu Salami, Käse, Tortilla, Brot und Wasser). Die Columbus-Schiffsnachbauten in La Rábida waren eindrucksvoll. Lediglich der Wallfahrtsort El Rocío mit Kirche und einer Meile von Touri-Lokalen war für uns nicht so prickelnd.

The Hotel Estival was very good close to beach and long promenade. Rooms , restaurant , pool were very good. Two outside bars were poor. The Hotel lacked a indoor bar and lounge.(what if it rained) Tui should review its policy of not including luggage in a package holiday as others do.

Die Ausflugsziele waren allesamt sehr schön ausgewählt, aber man hatte bei jedem erreichten Ziel leider nicht viel (Frei-)Zeit, um sich alles anzusehen. Das war ein bisschen schade. Aber ansonsten ein sehr schönes Ausflugsangebot. Die portugiesische Reiseleiterin hat sehr viele historische Hintergrundinformationen gegeben, viel gewusst, und man hat viel über Land und Leute erfahren.??

Wir hatten eine Gruppe von 15 Personen in einem großen Bus. Unsere Reiseleiterin nahm uns mit in die Geschichte der Mauren, Römer, und der unterschiedlichen Religionen. Für uns persönlich war die letzte Station, das Museum, wo die drei Replika Schiffe von Christopher Kolumbus draußen im Wasser liegen eine absolutes Highlight. Mit diesen Schiffen, die original nachgebaut wurden, entdeckte Christopher Kolumbus 1492 Amerika.

Minibustour im grossen Bus. Teilweise schlechte zwischenstops. Kaum Infos was es dort zu bestaunen gibt. Bei tollen Stops wenig Zeit. War unser schlechtester Ausflug unseres Urlaubes. Und überteuert. Morgens als erster Abgeholt als letzter gebracht.

Die besuchten Orte sind toll. Ich kenne den Ausflug von früher. Schade, dass keine Ausstellungen mehr im Castillo de Niebla vorhanden sind. Des weiteren wäre es vielleicht zu überlegen den Stopp in El Rocío zu einer anderen Uhrzeit zu machen, wenn mehr Geschäfte geöffnet sind. Es war Siesta Zeit. Der Ausflug war ab 13+ . Eine Familie mit Kleinkind war dabei. Für das Kind war es nichts. Generell war der Ausflug zu lang.

We boekten een excursie met Nederlandstalige gids in een minibus. Maar.... de avond van te voren kregen we een bericht dat die niet beschikbaar was en de keuze tussen Engels en Duits of cancelen. Daarom keken we of we alsnog de veel goedkopere touringcar reist konden boeken. Dat kon helaas niet meer. De volgende ochtend werden we opgehaald in een minibus maar tot onze verbazing naar een verzamelplaats gebracht en daar in een touringcar gestopt met meerdere Nederlanders en een Duits/Engels gids.

We hebben een kleine groepsreis met minibus en Max 8 personen en Nederlandstalige gids geboekt. Niets van dit alles klopte. Grote touringcar met 16 personen van verschillende nationaliteiten. Er werd niet in het Nederlands gesproken, waardoor ik niets heb meegekregen van de rondreis. Ronduit teleurstellend. Dit zijn geen afspraken.

Sehr gut organisiert, Reiseleiterin sehr nett und während der Fahrt hat Sie uns viele Informationen und Geschichten über Landschaft und Sehenswürdigkeiten erzählt. Der Busfahrer sehr nett und geschickt auf den schmalen Straßen. Die Weinprobe- einmalig, sehr netter Gastgeber. TUI wir sagen DANKE
