A viagem até às Montanhas Troodos é uma viagem a outro Chipre. Aldeias rústicas de pedra pontilham vales repletos de pinheiros e os modos de vida tradicionais ainda prevalecem. An excellent trip & an excellent guide & driver. Felt very safe on the whole trip. The guide was very informative. A fabulous trip into the mountains. The Monastery was so beautiful. Highly recommend the small tours trip .

Excellent day, just nine had booked this trip. Leader was extremely knowledgeable and considerate to clients. Unfortunately it was me who found it difficult to keep up with group but all were friendly, this was appreciated, my being a traveller on her own with limited mobility and 78 years. Two of us opted out of climb up to top of mountain. Lunch was a little rushed, only niggle and its’ shop was closed when some of us tried to find way in?

This trip was excellent- Liza, our guide was fantastic and so knowledgeable and fun. Big thanks to her. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole day- the mountains were so beautiful and it was great to try the wonderful local olive oil on the way. The monastery was incredible- so peaceful and beautiful Lunch was delicious and lots of food! A really brilliant day all round.

Lisa unsere Reiseleiterin war einfach großartig, viele Informationen über Land, Leute, Traditionen, Geschichte und noch viel mehr. Der Besuch der Oliven Manufaktur war sehr gut und zum Thema Qualitätsmerkmale auch lehrreich., sowie der Besuch des wunderschönen Kloster Kykkos sowie das Grabmal Makarios. Gefehlt hat uns der Spaziergang durch ein traditionelles Bergdorf. Unser Fahrer Georgios war ein besonnener, ruhiger angenehmer Mensch.

Especially enjoyed the stop at the olive oil press and the extensive wide ranging knowledge of our guide. Lunch at the Stavros restaurant was disappointing - hot food barely warm, staff off-hand/rude, and drinks order did not arrive. TUI need to find a more welcoming alternative. Staff at the afternoon coffee stop at Orosimo Platres by contrast were very welcoming despite being busy.

Veel haarspeldbochten onderweg was een lange zit,die door de minibus overigens krap was weinig zitruimte maar de excursies waren goed de lunch ook veel keus maar gerechten waren niet al te warm en de lunch laat om 14.30 verder leuke trip

Tour was good. Guide helpful. Driver very safe. Olive oil factory good. Monastery great. Food was buffet style , that was very poor. Meat was fatty and dried out. When we went to pay owner was very rude to us and others.

The Olive Oil experience was informative. The monastery the good , lunch adequate but the final drink stop came too soon after lunch and just made the day unnecessarily longer

Kykkos mobastery is realky impressive as well as the toom of the bishop Makarios. The lunch we had missed greek food such as tzatziki, mussaka, stuffed peppers etc. It was just a usual buffet. The driver was very good.

Veiligheid de chauffeur reed in het gebergte vrij snel en door de vele bochten, is mijn vrouw wagen ziek geworden. En heeft overgegeven in de bus alle medewerking van de gids Nick en andere passagiers hebben geholpen en we konden weer door.

From pickup to return the day was fantastic Tour Gide was first class and very knowledgeable and gave lots of good information about all the different places we drove through also The drive was also very knowledgeable I think because it was a small group of 8 and different Nationalities we all got on very well.

The pick u was on time. Mini bus was ok a little cramped a bit more leg room would have been good. Air con worked but wasn’t the best. Guide was knowledgable and informative. Lunch was barely edible. First time I have ever been served fish so dry with batter a knife couldn’t break through and offered under ripe peach or plum for dessert, really not the standard expected or experienced elsewhere on the island.

The tour was excellent with many spectacular and interesting views. On the bus, participants were not told to use seat belts or that it was a legal requirement to do so, and many did not. The guide was reasonably knowledgeable but he sometimes seemed not to know the right English word, leaving the information unfinished. He was sometimes vague about departure times and then had to rush us to reassemble.

Unser Tourguide Andrea war spitze und konnte sogar deutsch. Bis der Bus kam und es los ging, hat sie uns die Tour auf deutsch schonmal kurz erklärt. Danach hat sie auf Englisch gesprochen, was wir aber auch gut verstehen konnten. Das Kloster Kykkos ist fantastisch.

Her klooster zelf was prachtig! Ook de toer was mooi door het Troodesgebergte. Maar de rest stelde helaas weinig voor. Erg veel in de bus gezeten. Geen leuk bergdorpje bekeken. Weinig tijd overal.... Prijs kwaliteit 90 euro veel te duur voor zo weinig bezienswaardigheden. Hier is toch echt wat leukers van te maken.

€90 was expensive for the trip. Yes a good guide and the monastery was interesting along with the drive up into the mountains. Olive visit also good. But overall very expensive for what we got. Too expensive - should be c€50/60

I love the Troodos Moontains beautiful cedar valley. The tour was lovely except didn’t really need to go for the oil tasting. Much prefer to have gone to Omodos and then onto Kykkos Monastery the drive would have been quicker and more time at Kykkos. Lunch was good. The guide was informative and considerate plus the driver very good.

Really good tour if you like your history, guide and driver were excellent very attentive, I personally had a slight disability but they really looked after me wouldn’t recommend for anyone who has difficulty walking to far or climbing but I enjoyed it anyway

Klasse Guide (Andrea), die viele Erklärungen und Geschichten geteilt hat. Mir persönlich hat das Restaurant, wo zu Mittag gegessen wurde, weniger gut gefallen, da etwas "Massenabfertigung". Essen war aber OK (Buffet). Hervorzuheben ist, daß man für uns Vegetarier extra gegrillte Gemüsespieße zubereitet hat. Lage des Restaurants war auch schön. Insgesamt aber ein wirklich schöner Ausflug.

You see the beauty of the Troodos Mountains. Also visit an Olive Oil farm and get tasting. Onward to the Monestary and tomb of President Marios. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining.

We have always gone on large group trips & going on a small group trip was a much better experience. You could hear and see everything the guide was describing. The lunch we had was fantastic. Really worth the extra money.

The bus was small by choice but was a bit cramped for space. It was a long day and the last stop was unnecessary. The lunch stop was adequate. The guide was informative but talked all the time so maybe just a bit too much. The scenery and destination was interesting as expected.

Reiseleiterin Liza war top, sehr unterhaltsam und engagiert, obwohl der Ausflug auf Englisch war, hat sie für uns vier Deutsche einige Erläuterungen in Deutsch übersetzt. Kykkos Kloster ist sehenswert, Trodosgebirge etwas eintönig und insgesamt sehr lange Fahrzeiten, zum Glück durch nette Kaffeepausen unterbrochen. Das Mittagessen war in Ordnung, aber sehr rustikal und die Gaststätte nicht besondereres gemütlich, es war hauptsächlich ein Souvenirshop .

Te weinig tijd bij de interessante plaatsen terwijl er een lunch van meer dan anderhalf uur gepland was op een plek in the middle of nowhere. Jammer maar door veel interessante plekken gereden waar wel van alles te zien was. Ook de "reisleiding" was wat overheersend. Had meer het idee met haar dat zij met een kleuterklas op stap was dan met een groep (oudere) volwassenen.

The monastery and views were absolutely beautiful, however, you didn’t get a lot of time to enjoy them as it was a very quick stop before moving on to the next thing. They tried to cram far too much in such a small amount of time purely because the journey is a long one. The lunch was amazing and so much food, which was all excellent! Everyone in our group felt like we could have had more time enjoying the views or at the monastery. Extend the day so you get back later if needed

There was a pointless stop after the lunch. The guide was determined that nobody would be looking at anything around the monastery to buy anything ( it had to be bought at the lunch stop) surely my choice. At the monastery there was very little if no time to look at the actual building, the guide although very informative about the museum had no knowledge to in part about daily life of the monks. It seemed rushed at this point.... Miss the stop after lunch and re allocate the time.

The guide was knowledgeable and informative but sometimes rattled on a bit repeating herself. There was a problem with the bus the driver acted quickly and got us a replacement bus immediately, lunch was excellent thought we were going to a visit a village to have a look round but it was a refreshment stop

The trip was excellent. Liza the guide was very experienced and the whole trip ran very smoothly. Also she was extremely knowledgable about the history, the nature, religion so we came away understanding so much more about Cyprus. I would highly recommend the trip, beautiful scenery and lovely lunch. But take a coat, it was cold up there!

Lisa was excellent as she guided us around the sites ! She told us the history about each place and informed us how the trees on the mountains lived! All in all a lovely day in the peacefulness and coolness of the mountains

A good and informative trip. Guide (Lisa) and driver (Costa) were excellent. Could have done with more information in advance about the timings, particularly the length of the drives. Could have done with more time in each of the main venues. On balance a very good trip and worthwhile.
