Bali's cultural centre, Ubud, is a world away from the island's main resorts. This morning tour takes you to some of its main attractions, including iconic rice fields, sprawling markets and a monkey forest.First on the agenda is a visit to Tegalalang rice terrace. Nestled deep in Bali's verdant valleys, the ancient irrigation system is an agricultural icon with UNESCO world heritage status. Stroll through the fields and admire the greenery surrounding you.Next, you'll take a scenic drive into central Ubud. Here, explore the grounds of the 16th-century palace where the current royal family still lives. Then, its on to Ubud Market where you can browse the stalls for Balinese handicrafts and textiles. To round off the tour, you'll stop by a monkey forest and the imposing Tegenungan waterfall.

Der deutschsprachige Tourguide Ketut und sein Fahrer waren absolut wunderbar. Sie haben uns mit sehr vielseitigen Geschichten und jeder Menge Hintergrundinformationen zu Bali den Tag über begleitet. Die Tagestour war sehr kurzweilig und wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit. Mit Ketut konnten wir Bali durch die Augen eines Einheimischen wahrnehmen. Würden wir sie jederzeit wieder machen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Maatwerk is fijn. De rijstvelden vonden we minder mooi door alle schommels en ziplijnen die het beeld verpesten. We zijn op deze plek al eerder geweest, zonder toeristisch attracties zag het er veel mooier uit. Dus negeer de schommels en ziplijnen en geniet van de omgeving zou ik zeggen.

Eine rund um gelungene Tagestour einschließlich eines sehr guten Mittagessens. Der Guide und der Fahrer begleiteten uns bereits auf der dritten Tour. Beide waren sehr professionell und pünktlich, der Fahrer sehr sicher in dem zugegebener Maßen erstaunlich dichten und unüberschaubaren Verkehrsgedränge. Der Guide war das, was man sich darunter vorstellt: sprachlich sehr versiert, freundlich, informativ, geduldig und er begeisterte uns für die Vielfalt der balinesischen Inselwelt.

Sehr schöne, abwechslungsreiche Tour...freundlicher, zuvorkommender Guide Dedo mit sehr gutem Deutsch. Die lange Hin- und Rückfahrt von Nusa Dua von 2-3 Stunden war uns bei dem Verkehr hier auf Bali bewusst und sollte keine Abwertung sein

Not only did she show us amazing sights and made us feel very comfortable, but she and our driver went above and beyond, tailoring the experience to us, showing us extra hidden gems, and giving us insights into Bali. Our guide (Mr Gin) was wonderful & even tailored our trip for us, realising my friend was struggling with so many steps & limiting where possible. He also added a stop at an art gallery for her! Only downside was getting sick, probably from the lunch stop (Ely’s Kitchen) which I raised with Tui, so hopefully they’ll investigate. A really good whistle stop tour of everything though.

Guiden var inte så kunnig men trevlig dock. Chauffören körde fantastiskt säkert och bra. Restaurangen superbra. Eftersom jag har ett skadat knä byttes vattenfall ut mot kaffeodling med te och kaffeprovning. Verkligen trevligt och intressant.

The trip was great apart from our guide who was continually in his phone, we felt that messaging his friends was more of a priority than us! , driver was nice and polite but driving was a little erratic, lunch was include which was great no complaints there! Overall the monkey Forrest, plantation and rice terraces were great but the palace was a bit disappointing

Prima verzorgd! Nederlands sprekende gids die echt aandacht had voor wat je belangrijk vond en de vragen die je had. Jammer van het drukke verkeer wat veel reistijd opslokte. Goed verzorgde lunch in keurig restaurantje.

Monkey village war am schönsten. Auch die reisterrassen war ein wunderschöner Ausblick. Trotz strömenden Regen haben wir viel Spaß gehabt. Leider war die Schaukel ausser Betrieb. Ich denke aber wegen der Sicherheit. Würden diese Tour unbedingt empfehlen.

Die Tour rund um Ubud war sehr schön. Wie bei allen Touren in Bali muss man immer einplanen, dass man die Hälfte der Zeit im Auto verbringt - aber so kann man sich auch eine Menge ansehen. Der Ubud-Markt war ein typischer Touristenmarkt - das sollte man bedenken. Die besuchten Reisterrassen und der Affenwald waren aber wunderschön. Der Wasserfall sieht toll aus, ist aber ein ebenfalls ein typischer Touri-Hotspot. Alles in allem aber eine tolle Tour und unser deutschsprachiger Guide war klasse

Weer een topdagje gehad, van lokale houtbewerkers tot juwelenmakers, het apenbos midden in de stad. Weer een prachtige waterval en rijstvelden. De natuur is hier prachtig, ogen tekort.

Die Tour war insgesamt sehr schön, der Guide war sehr zuvorkommend und hat uns viel von Bali erzählt . Nicht so gut gefallen hat uns, das die Stops doch sehr touristisch waren. Den letzten Stopp in einer Holzschnitzerei hätte man sich sparen können, da man da ein gezwungenes Gefühl hatte, etwas kaufen zu müssen!

Wir hatten wieder Gusde als Guide und er war erneut wundervoll. Die Tour war einfach Klasse. Die Tour zum Markt war allerdings nicht schön, da dort alles sehr eng und viel zu viele Menschen, so dass man in der kurzen Zeit nicht wirklich schoppen konnte. Dazu empfehlen wir das "Bali Collection" dort gibt es alles was das Herz begehrt und auch für jedes Portemonnaie. Danke Gusde für den tollen Tag.

Our guide Widi was amazing, so friendly and informative about where we visited, while driving and anything else we wanted to know. Didn’t rush us at any point so helpful throughout the tour. Also our driver was very punctual picking us up in between stops, making sure we were comfy and had water. Fantastic day in Ubud

Excellent value for money, we packed so much in to the day. We had a fabulous guide and a driver. Our guide was very knowledgeable and keen to ensure our tour met our needs. Our driver was fantastic at navigating the busy roads. Waterfall and rice fileds were beautiful. Our guide ensured we were safe in the monkey forest. Added extras of the coffee plantation and art gallery were unexpected, but equally beautiful. We would 100% recommend.

Mooie excursie en veel te zien en beleven. Het landschap, cultuur en historie is bijzonder en prachtig om mee te maken. Al met al een mooie excursie. De markten van Ubud zijn leuk om mee te maken maar wel minder geschikt voor de toeristen die geïnteresseerd zijn in echt authentieke souvenirs.

The problem with this tour is that Bali has lost the plot with Tourism and the associated problems in increasing it. Our day was 12 hours long to visit Ubud, some artists' houses and see the monkey forest. When you look on the map it does not seem very far, yet it took us over 6 hours in the car to see these places. Then the places were jam packed with people and the artists offerings were way over priced. Would not recommend it as it feels like a waste of a day when you could be at the beach.

Het is in Ubud erg druk waardoor behoorlijk wat tijd verloren gaat door file rijden. Gids Candy is wel flexibel door (waar mogelijk) andere wegen te kiezen of door de volgorde te veranderen van de te bezichtigen bezienswaardigheden

Another amazing trip our guide "K" was really knowledgeable and good fun. tour was a full day and ubud market was a highlight monkey forest was also amazing. Onze gids was een zeer bekwame, rustige en vriendelijke man. En de chauffeur ook erg goed. We konden een paar aanpassingen makkelijk met hun regelen. Zijn uitleg was geweldig. We hebben heerlijk genoten hiervan en mooie dingen gezien. We hadden hen op 2 trips. Maar waren echt enthousiast over hun. Ik zelf kan niet alles meer door mijn gezondheid maar werd overal rekening mee gehouden. Ze verdienen een dikke pluim.

The day was great although it seemed a bit rushed. The waterfall was beautiful but ... its a long way down alot of steps and of course if a long way down this means a long way back up ... if like me, you have a bad knee this is not the best for comfort. The monkey forest was good but again felt rushed. We saw some.paintings and silver jewellery being made but when looking around you are followed everywhere Great day but wouldn't do it again .

Our guide Tek WYN was excellent, friendly and informative. Our driver was skilful and calm throughout the tour. All the places we visited were great. The one downside was the fact that where we stopped for lunch the service didn’t include a drink. We would expect AtLeast water to be provided but had to pay for that ourselves

We didn’t enjoy this tour as much as the others. It wasn’t very interesting we didn’t learn much and our guide didn’t really explain much we sat in the car in traffic for most of the day in silence which was uncomfortable with the heat and and humidity - we felt the places that we were taken to were tourist traps and we felt we pressured to buy something or tip the locals / people that were there. The only part which was good is the waterfall. But again that we didn’t get yo enjoy that area

De opzet van de tour was een mooi programma. Met name de Nederlands sprekende gids maakte ook deze dag wederom voor ons een hele mooie dag. Zij en de chauffeurs zijn een ware toevoeging. De lunch was ook zeker top!

Tolle Tour, auch weil flexibel auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen wurde. Den Markt in Unud hätten wir nicht gebraucht, aber das ist Geschmacksache. Toller Guide, von dem man auch viel über Bali und Indonesien erfahren konnte.

This was our second trip which l thought was much more interesting, we saw a beautiful waterfall, a temple that was really interesting and decorative also we went to the monkey sanctuary which was the highlight of the day as we love nature

The overall experience was really good. Would have liked longer in the monkey forrest as the guide didn't seem to want to stay too long and it felt rushed. We also wanted to do the swing at the rice fields but again the guide didn't really want us to do that and he made comments about how he didn't think the harness would fit me and then commented that there was an age limit of 65 and we are both in our 50s. One suggestion is to never comment on a woman's age or weight!

The trip was very well organised and showed us the real Bali, we would highly recommend the trip. Unfortunately our tour guide was not really a people person, there didn’t seem to be much guide to customer banter or interaction, he did give information but we just felt we had to do the asking and he didn’t give any other information other than the question you asked. We had the same guide for three trips which was a bit disenhearting.

The tour was outstanding, as was our tour guide and expert Rupi. His knowledge was second to none, he catered to our requirements and changed the original tour plans to best suit the changes in the weather but we felt that we achieved everything available on the day.
