A wealth of ancient treasures is packed into central Athens. On this guided morning tour, you'll uncover some of its megastars, including the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, the Parthenon and Acropolis – and also enjoy a guided visit to the Acropolis Museum.You'll be taken to the Panathenaic Stadium, site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. Next, follow a route steeped in history, taking in landmarks such as the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, the Academy, the National Library and Syntagma Square – home of the Greek parliament.Then it's on to the Acropolis, where your guide will bring to life the history behind such seminal structures as the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike – and, of course, the Parthenon. Finish the morning with a guided visit to the award-winning Acropolis Museum. It's built over an archaeological site, which can be surveyed as you enter.

Heel fijn om zo het museum binnen te kunnen en van de gids te leren over de afbeeldingen van de friezen van het Parthenon dat we later zouden zien. Ik had gehoopt nog even uit de bus te kunnen stappen om de zuilen van de Zeus tempel in het park te zien maar ik begrijp dat het ochtendprogramma te vol wordt om behalve het Panathenaiko stadion nog uit de bus te kunnen voor andere bezienswaardigheden.

The guide eleni was knowledgeable and experienced and put everyone at their ease with a great sense of humour .she took care of the guests with restricted mobility and I found the tour interesting and worthwhile.would highly recommend

Organisation war sehr gut. Die Bustour und die Sehenswürdigkeiten waren gut ausgewählt und schön anzusehen Zeit im Museum etwas kurz... Die Technik bzw. die Repeater für den Sound die man getragen hat, waren eine Katastrophe. Andauernd hatte man ein rauschen oder knacken im Ohr. Der Guide konnte das Problem nicht wirklich beheben. Zudem sind die Geräte andauernd von selbst ausgegangen. So hab ich leider nur die Hälfte der Tour mitbekommen, das war sehr schade für den Preis!!!

Tour guide was the best ever, even though it was quite hot that day, she took her time and made sure everyone was ok. Very informative and also offered her opinion, which I happen to enjoy getting a local point of view.

Die Tour war sehr informativ. Allerdings nicht perfekt durchgeplant, da der Tourguide sich beim Eingang zur Akropolis geirrt hatte.

Nicht gefallen haben die permanenten Störgeräusche in der Sprachübertragung, die die Erklärungen des Guide fast unverständlich machten. Hier muss dringend besseres Equipment zum Einsatz kommen.

Die Akropolis war überfüllt, da donnerstags immer Kreuzfahrtschiffe in Athen anlegen und diese Führungen zur Akropolis anbieten. Wir mussten mit dem Bus lange auf andere Tourteilnehmer warten. An einem Hotel standen wir eine halbe Stunde. Die Mitarbeiterin war über das Headset nur schlecht zu verstehen und hat nicht dafür gesorgt, dass die Gruppe beisammen bleibt und alle zügig auf die Akropolis kommen. Bevor es ins Museum ging, gab es keine Pause zum erholen.

Der Ausflug war super! Die Akropolis und das Museum zusehen war schön. Ich würde jedoch empfehlen vor Ort zu buchen und nicht Online. Unsere Repräsentantin von Tui meinte, dass die Tour für den online Gebuchten Tag nicht stattfinden würde, sondern einen Tag Später. Sie hat den dann umgebracht und dann lief alles Super!

Leuke tour, veel gezien en de gids wist ontzettend veel te vertellen over alle items in het museum en bij de Akropolis.
