Kos packs in an astonishing amount of heritage for a small island. This exclusive half-day excursion will take you on a journey through time and bring ancient Greece to life. You'll start out in Kos town, then visit the historic Asclepeion and cap off your day in the pretty hilltop hamlet of Zia.Kos town is dripping in history, with monuments from classical antiquity all the way through the Byzantine and Ottoman periods to the rationalism of the 1930s. You'll navigate the streets that lead you through the photogenic town with your guide and soak up its melting pot of architecture and sights during an informative walk.Then, we'll head to the ruins of Asclepeion, at the top of a pine-clad hill boasting views over Kos town and Turkey beyond. Your guide will fill you in on this 2,500-year-old ‘temple of healing' and then you'll have time to wander around on your own before driving to Zia. Here, you'll have free time to visit the petting farm, browse the shops or nurse a cool drink in a taverna.

Die Reiseleiterin hat zu viel und zu lange gesprochen. Wir standen zum Teil bis zu 45 min an einer Stelle. Dies war bei diesen Temperaturen zu anstrengend. Sie sollte sich kürzer fassen. Es wäre gut, wenn man sich zwischendurch mal bewegt und die Informationen an verschiedenen Stellen bekommt

Didn’t get picked up, was a pain to get hold of the correct meeting point as unclear on booking confirmation. Then when did get to the point 15 mins early, we missed the bus because it wasn’t at the specified pickup point. We only saw it because it drove past us at the point it was meant to be at. We waved our hand for the driver to stop and he just carried on. No “guide” even got off the bus to check for us. No local contact number for us to call, only a UK number who wasn’t even open yet.

Die Reiseführerin hatte sehr fundiertes Wissen und hat sehr viel erzählt, manchmal etwas zu viel. kann man gar nicht alles so schnell verarbeiten. Das Dorf Zia stellte für mich nichts besonderes dar. Sons war der Ausflug in Ordnung.

Wir hatten viel zu wenig Zeit die Stadt genauer anzuschauen. Eine Stunde reicht niemals aus. Genauso auf dem Dorf Zia. Es wird im Bus kurz darüber geredet, dann wird man rausgelassen und nach 1,5 Stunden mussten wir schon wieder los. Also alles viel zu knapp berechnet. Das ist schade. Der Preis dafür ist überhaupt nicht gerechtfertigt.

The tour guide didn't turn up to collect us. We paid for a tour, but we weren't taken on one. We missed breakfast to be ready to be collected early, and nobody showed up. Tui said they'd look into this and try to rearrange it for the following day, but didn't even bother calling back or emailing. Absolutely disgusting.

Sehr schöne Runde durch die Insel mit vielen tollen Infos. Ein kleines Manko: wir hatten 9 Stopps mit dem Bus bis alle im Bus waren, das hat sehr lange gedauert.

Vielleicht die Erzählungen beim Asklepieion verkürzen, damit man in Zia 15 Minuten mehr Zeit hat. Wir konnten zwar in Zia essen, aber hatten sonst keine Zeit. Das fanden wir sehr schade, weil wir gerne ein Foto machen wollten.

Der Tag war alles in allem recht gelungen! Die Touri-Führerin war sehr gut und hatte sehr viele interessante und spannende Infos parat. Was nicht gut war, war das Abholen beim Hotel. Der Busfahrer ist ausgestiegen und hat irgendwas unverständliches vor sich hingemurmelt. Ich habe ihm meinen Voucher am Handy gezeigt. Er sagte nicht das. Dann kam eine Mitarbeiterin von Tui daher. Als ich sie fragte, sagte sie, ja das ist der Bus. Gefahren ist der Chauffeur dann wie ein **********!

The staff were great!! Couldn't fault them. Lots of information about Kos and plenty of time to go through all of thie items in the iteniary. Only thing that wasn't very well planned was lots of standing around- no shade in the August sun.

Mając porównanie do innych biur podróży, generalnie TUI id lat wypada bardzo bardzo słabo. Podczas całego pobytu na Kos nie czuliśmy się zaopiekowani przez rezydentów TUI. Hotel 4gwiazdkowy uważa się za 5-cio gwiazdkowy,a tak naprawdę zasluguje jedynie na 3 gwiazdki. ersonel recepcji chowa się na zapleczu, gdy zbliża się gość do kontuaru lub po prostu wychodzi i idzie bez słowa w inne obszary hotelu. Do tego pobiera haracz klimatyczny 15€za dzień. Wyjście na plażę i plaża to skandal.

Es war ein sehr schöner und spannender Tag. Die Guide-Mitarbeiterin war sehr bemüht, mir die wichtigsten Informationen zu erzählen und trotzdem genügend freie Zeit zu lassen. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert! Einziger Minuspunkt war die Rückfahrt, da ich fast 2 Stunden bis zum Hotel hatte, weil alle noch zu ihren Hotels gebracht wurden. Da ich Ferien hatte, habe ich es entspannt genommen und konnte so noch einiges von der Insel sehen. 😊

Unser Guide hat sehr viel Wissen in charmanter Art und Weise vermittelt. Die Zeit in Kos-Stadt war angemessen, in Zia etwas lang. Bei heißen Temperaturen unbedingt auf Sonnenschutz und ausreichend Getränke achten.

Erstmal fährt man knapp 1 Stunde die ganzen Hotels ab. Die Führung in Kos Stadt war okay die Aufenthaltsdauer von 1 Stunde viel zu wenig. Das Dorf oder Siedlung von zia war okay aber die Aufenthalts von 1.5 Stunden viel zu viel. Das Dorf besteht nur kleinen Läden wo zum Teil China Ware zu viel zu überteuerten Preisen verkauft wird da hätten 30 Minuten Aufenthalt gereicht für mich war das Dorf ne reine abzocke. Wir waren gegen 17 Uhr circa wieder am Hotel weil wir alle Hotels wieder angefahren

Leider war der zeitliche Rahmen in der Stadt Kos dafür begrenzt, da wir auch Freizeit hatten, die wir nicht gebraucht hätten. Mein Vorschlag: nach der Grundführung: vertiefend in die Geschichte eintauchen oder alternativ freie Zeit in der Stadt Kos. Alles weiteren Ausflugsziele waren TOP

Got to see a lot - guide was knowledgeable / she did talk quite a lot she could edit herself just a little bit she was cute and witty - would liked to have stayed a tad longer at places but as a taster would be good to do at the start of your holiday then revisit places and spend more time - €15 euro was quite steep for entry to the archeological site - glad we had a guide so we learnt about its history. Zia was stunning would have liked longer there

Familienfreundlich, Kommunikation war sehr einfach und Entspannung pur (auch für das Kleinkind). Selbst wenn man einen Tag nur im Hotel oder am Strand verbringt kann man die Kinder gut beschäftigen. Man muss nicht Angst haben etwas vergessen zu haben, da man dort alles kaufen kann. Das Personal ist super freundlich. Wir werden wieder dort unseren Urlaub verbringen. Beste Empfehlung überhaupt.

Unser Guide war eine Dame aus Griechenland die sehr gut, viel und informativ auf deutsch gesprochen hat. Sie ist eine absolut positive und freundliche Person. Das hat den gesamten Ausflug sehr angenehm gemacht. Alle drei Ziele Kos, Asklepion und besonders Zia haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Aufenthaltszeiten waren ausreichend und nicht zu lange für unsere 8 jährigen Kinder. Alles war gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Einzig die Ohrhörer waren zu groß für die Kinder. Wir fanden es toll.

Der Guide war sehr gut informiert und hat die Informationen sehr gut rüber gebracht. Der Aufenthalt in Kos könnte, wenn shoppen oder mehr in Freizeit sehen möchte ruhig etwas länger sein. Die antike Stadt ist eine gute Empfehlung für kulturell bewanderte Menschen, sollte aber im Preis enthalten sein.

Abholung, Fahrt 1 Stunde bis Kos für 21 km und nur eine Stunde Aufenthalt viel zu kurz. FAHRT zu lange. Positiv war der Aufenthalt in Zia mit 90 Minuten sowie die Rückfahrt in nur 20 Minuten, da Bustausch.. NEGATIV .Kein Hinweis dass man auch mit dem Bus vom Hotel ohne Zeitlimit und günstiger nach Kos fahren kann.

The audio tour was minimal - possibly 10 minutes as we were escorted into Kos town. The town itself has a couple of historic sites but mainly it is restaurants and souvenir shops. Next stop, entry to the site was 15 euros per person which is a lot on top of the price of the excursion. The hillside town were we stopped for lunch provided a number of reasonable priced tavernas and this was the best part of the tour. Overall, save the money, get a local bus to the to the town.

Uns hat sehr gut gefallen, dass wir viel über die Geschichte der Insel und den Highlights, die wir besuchten, erfahren haben. Die Guide-Mitarbeiterin war sehr freundlich, kompetent und ist auf Fragen der Gäste sofort eingegangen. Mir hat es sehr gut gefallen und ich weiß, dass ich auf jeden Fall nochmal dorthin reisen werde und mir ein paar Urlaubstage mehr einplanen werde. Die Mitarbeiter im Hotel, in allen Bereichen, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Das Ressort ist wunderbar, das Meer leider immer wellig und der Zugang zum Meer etwas schwierig, zu dieser Zeit viel Wind.

Der Ausflug war sehr abwechslungsreich und hat vom Start mit der Besichtigung von Kos-Stadt mit den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten begonnen inkl eigener Freizeit vor Ort. Danach war das Asklepeion sehr imposant und auch toll erklärt mit dem historischen Bezug. Die Fahrt mit Abschuss in Zia war für uns mit Kind aufgrund der tollen Aussicht und dem eigenständigen Besuch im kleinen schön angelegten Naturzoo am Berg sehr sehenswert.

I wont recommend this tour due to transportation organization. Transfer bus delayed 20 min - we waited more than 30 min in the morning. Ride to Kos old town takes roughly 45 min from Porto bello beach hotel. Return took 2 hours and 25 min! Bus was 7 min away 2 times during return ride but just went other hotels which was crazy in total! There is no routing like this - if you are not able to handle routing well, do not organize this! All Kos distributed by only 2 bus route!!!!
