E esta excursão noturna leva você às praias da ilha onde tartarugas cabeçudas vêm até a costa e nidificam para que você possa vivenciar de perto a natureza em ação. Após a coleta e transferência do seu hotel, seu guia o levará às praias de nidificação ao redor de Sal. Em pequenos grupos, vocês caminharão pela praia à noite e ficarão atentos às tartarugas cabeçudas subindo na areia. Der deutsch sprachige Guide war eine Faru aus Süd Afrika, welche sehr schlecht deutsch sprach. Abgesehen davon, dass sie die Zahlen durcheinander brachte, hat uns mehr aufgeregt, dass sie nicht wirklich „.bei uns“ war. Sie war geistig abwesend, schrieb erstmal eine lange Textnachricht und antwortete zwischendurch immer wieder auf dem Handy. Erklärungen hatte sie einfach abgebrochen. Kümmerte sich um ein Ästchen im Sand und studierte dieses von allen Seiten. Am Ende standen wir 5x10 Mann ….

Wir haben fast eine Stunde am Strand auf die Schildkröten gewartet bis eine kam. Wir hatten also Glück. Man muss sich halt im Klaren darüber sein, dass man auch Pech haben könnte und keine Schildkröte sieht. Natur ist eben Natur. Und die Veranstalter können nun mal auch keine Garantie zu 100 % geben. Man sollte wissen, wenn man keine Schildkröte sieht, kriegt man natürlich auch sein Geld nicht wieder.

Der Service von TUI am Hotel war TOP keine Frage, allerdings das Erlebnis eine Zumutung. Der Bus kam 15 Minuten zu spät, weitere 20 Minuten warten wegen Überbuchung. Fahrt zum ersten Strand, alle außer unsere Gruppe mit dem Biologen raus, weitere 20 Minuten Fahrt und wieder warten, keine Lizenz für uns an der Strandzufahrt, nach gesamt 1,5 Stunden sind wir endlich angekommen und laufen zum Strand, durchgehend der Hinweis, man sieht nicht immer Schildkröten. Dann der Hinweis 2h Tripdauer...

J’ai apprécie l’expérience et le guide mais 1- c’est trop cher le prix est exagéré : pas d’effort particulier du guide juste des explications, distance parcourue moins de 10 min de l’hôtel 2- il y a trop de groupes sur le site

It was amazing to see a turtle laying eggs, but there were too many people, we had 12 in our group, but there was at least another 4 groups on the beach. I would willingly pay more for smaller groups and also to see more of the turtles journey. That said, it was still a great experience to watch.

The local company that ran the tour were brilliant - TUI clearly take a cut and pass the booking on to them (we expected a TUI van for instance, but there was no mention of the company anywhere). The guide and company were brilliant - wish we'd gone direct! Explore Cape Verde.

Es muss vor dem Ausflug besser informiert werden wegen der Bekleidung den es gibt viele Moskitos in der Nacht am Strand. Fur die Menschen die Alergisch sind ist das sehr gefährlich . Ganzkörperbekleidung ist empfohlen .

The Experiance was amazing. We were very lucky to not only see a turtle laying her eggs but also see a couple coming from the sea. The only downside was the transfer, it was way over packed and very uncomfortable being that squished even if the journey was 10mins

Schade dass Kinder dabei waren, angeblich ab 18 Jahren)und kein versprochener Meeresbiologe dabei war. Die Jungs waren aber sehr bemüht! Ev sollte über rote Lampen zum Weg erleuchten nachgedacht werden, würde die Verletzungsgefar minimieren. (Steine etc bei Dunkelheit )

Phones should be banned as staff said they would send pictures anyway. Some other guests had their cameras on which gave an amount of white light out and obscures view of the turtle.

Hallo, Ich werde morgen mit dem Tui Reiseleiter hier im Hotel sprechen. Uns wurde auf jedenfall eine Schildkröte versprochen, die man in freier Natur erleben kann. Selbst vom Guide wurde dies mehrmals betont. Nun ja. Die Tour wurde mir extra nur für Erwachsene angeboten. So haben wir sie gebucht. Im Bus angekommen,saßen schon 3 Kinder im Alter von 7 bis 9 Jahre. Das war das erste,was nicht gut ankam. Losgefahren sind wir 20.30 vom Hotel und 00.15 waren wir ,ohne Schildkröten zu sehen zurück.

Onze gids vertelde onderweg al van alles en we kregen goede informatie. We hadden geluk dat er al gelijk een schildpad op het strand was, die al vrij snel eieren ging leggen. Heel bijzonder om dit te mogen zien! We konden ook kijken hoe ze haar nest dichtmaakte en weer de zee in liep. Echt fantastisch om dit meegemaakt te hebben!

Prior to the event, guests were advised to wear dark colours during the experience. Within this it should advised that the activity involves a period of time sat on the beach while a nesting Turtle is located. This would allow guests to make a wiser choice of clothing. Overall a memorable trip but the language barrier with our guide was sometimes a challenge.

France’s was a very informative guide, keen to impart his knowledge and was very enthusiastic. Coach pick up was on time and driver very pleasant. We were very lucky to see the turtle arrive, make beast and lay eggs then filling that the cover with France’s keeping us informed through. One of the best trips ever done. Really interesting. Bit disappointing when you're an hour and a half into the tour and you haven't seen any turtles but you just have to accept that it isn't guaranteed to see anything. But then when you see the turtle and watch the process it felt like an honour to watch it. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to experience this

Jonny picked us up promptly and Francis, Anna and Chelsea were very knowledgeable about the turtles. We spent a really good amount of time watching the turtle laying her eggs and burying them before heading back out to sea

This was absolutely the best tour I’ve ever done! We saw 3 turtles laying their eggs and one go back into the sea. The sand flies/mosquitos were a bit of a problem as we had to sit on the sand - but even with 20+ bites I’d do it all again! Brilliant!

Francis ~ our guide was absolutely amazing!! We had him for the Shark Bay experience also; he was extremely friendly, funny and knowledgable! Worth every penny to see something so special and seeing the turtles in the moonlight coming on to the beach and laying their eggs in pure nature is incredible!!

This experience was absolutely incredible, the marine biologist was so knowledgeable and everything was explained in great depth about how the turtles lay their eggs and the life cycle around everything, he was very receptive and answered all questions everyone had in depth, and watching momma turtle go back into the sea after laying her eggs was fabulous! Great experience.

Onwijs leuke avond op het strand. Wij hadden het geluk dat wij 2 verschillende schildpadden hun eieren zagen leggen. 1 schildpad kwam zelfs aan land en schoof tussen onze groep door. Als je het geluk hebt de schildpadden te zien is het een bijzondere ervaring.

Unser Guide Jacky war super professionell, freundlich und lustig. Wir haben viel über Schildkröten erfahren und jede Menge lachen können. Wer Interesse daran hat etwas über Schildkröten zu erfahren und eine Schildkröte beim Nisten beobachten möchte, sollte diese Tour definitiv buchen.

Experience unique et extraordinaire dans le respect des animaux. Si possible, a faire un soir de pleine lune! Attention: - prévoir un pull il peut faire froid le soir à la plage et TUI ne nous prévient pas. - le chemin est assez plat et court mais c’est effectivement du sable. Néanmoins, il n’est pas permis d’utiliser la lumière, donc si on a une vue un peu plus diminué c’est à prendre en consideration

I was asked 3 times if I had a darker jacket but there people there who had lighter clothes on and flesh showing which was paler than my hoodie I suffer with vertigo and struggled to walk on the santander rocks as I couldn't see where I was going it was so dark . like my husband said it's 100 euros we will never get back

The marine biologist was calm, knowledgeable and friendly. It would be good to warn people about just how sandy you’re going to get! And a chance for a toilet stop would be good. It felt a bit invasive getting so close to their back side although we appreciated that the turtle was in a trance. Apart from that we all had a wonderful experience and felt privileged to see two turtles in this natural habitat.

Anne was een kundige gids die veel wist te vertellen over de zeeschildpadden. Heel tof om de zeeschildpad eieren te zien leggen in haar pas gebouwde nest en daarna het nest te camoufleren en terug te gaan de oceaan in. Dikke aanrader!

Die Tour war wirklich schön , was man aber mitteilen müsste wäre das man warme Kleidung anziehen sollte da es auch mal länger dauert mit dem warten . Wir hatten Glück mit 1,5 Stunden und direkt vor uns die Schildkröte ihre Eier legte was andere leider nicht hatten .

Problem is bot this tour, who are very responsible and law abiding. Problem is the chaos on the beach with other tours which cannot be controlled by our tour guides and don’t seem to be under any control from their own tour guides. Government should regulate more firmly for the sake of the poor turtles

Poorly organised experience. When arriving there is mostly running up and down a beach in pitch black, adults will push children to the ground and tour guides disappear into the darkness if you cannot run at their speed. Also many rocks and debris for you to fall over in the dark. One child cut her foot on the rocks and there was no first aid trained staff and no first aid kit. On the journey back our 10 year old child was seated away from both parents in a pitch dark bus,

Unser Guide Hanna war super und hat viele interessante Informationen mit uns geteilt. Wir konnten tatsächlich eine Schildkröte bei der Eiablage beobachten, was nicht garantiert ist wenn man die Tour bucht! Da es sich um Natur handelt, sollte es klar sein, dennoch wäre es sinnvoll, das in der Beschreibung zu erwähnen.

Very good got to see a turtle nesting after a long beach walk but was well worth it. The team were full of information. We also saw some in the hatchery and spoke to volunteer there.

Two excellent marine biggest guides Lizzie and Mervin. Told us lots of interesting facts and we were lucky enough to witness 2 turtles coming upbto the beach to lay eggs. Amazing experience. Once in a lifetime. Moon and stars also beautiful with no light pollution. Some other groups there who did not show same respect as our guides and group. Not rushed away either. Trip lasts as long as guidesvand group. Cannot recommend highly enough.

No instruction on just how windy or cold tge beach was. Nobody was appropriately dressed as the description only talks about footwear. Spent 3 hours on the beach futing which it rained making everyone colder. No turtles seen. I appreciate that is nature and you cannot predict z nesting, the the guides at No point explained this of offered up any sort of apology. The beach was overcrowded with other groups as well.

We were very lucky to find a turtle busy laying eggs as we arrived on the beach and were able to see the whole process.
