Five of us did the evening buggy experience and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The Honda buggies were powerful, fast and great fun—I honestly would have been happy paying the full price just for the buggy ride, never mind everything else that was included! The cave rave and swimming were brilliant, followed by traditional dancing, an interesting talk about locally produced food and products, food for us to enjoy, and then a disco.

Bij deze zit via TUI een bril maar deze is net een vuurwerkbril. Niet heel handig als je brildragend bent want dat past niet. Deze bril moest je dan ook inleveren,hadden ze dan toch een ski bril kunnen geven. Eenmaal in de buggy kwam er geen uilteg hoe het werkt en wat je moet doen enz. Eenmaal rijden was het een mooie ervaring, halverwege mag je wisselen. Je kreeg een proeverij van koffie, mamaguana enz. Hoogte punt was toch zwemmen in de grot en de show na het eten.

Great experience from start to finish, highly recommend. Doing the buggies at dusk was the best!! Swim in the cenote is a must do. Even the little stop for them to sell you stuff was actually really informative and fun!! Would definitely do this trip again.

Started with the buggies, I expected to get a little more wet and muddy. Spent most of the time a crawling pace. Took us through hardly any deep puddles. The two passengers in the back seats you wouldn’t have known had been in the buggy they we that clean and dry. Unfortunately when we then got to the native show part the power went off which meant we couldn’t really see what was going on. This then disrupted the rest of the trip and rushed things with waiting around for the power to come back.

The excursion itself had potential, but poor instruction and the lead guide’s behaviour ruined it. There was virtually no proper buggy briefing, including no explanation of hand signals, yet I was criticised for not responding correctly. The guide was patronising and noticeably harsher towards me than my husband, which felt sexist. TUI should review both the operator’s safety/instruction standards and staff conduct.

This was hands down the BEST experience I have ever undertaken on any holiday ever. The only let down was all the hard sells. 4 people tried to upgrade us to a photo package I didn't want. Then was told I had to buy new shoes from them to drive in.. before another staff member admitted it was unnecessary. An overly long sales pitch later on local goods was torture. The hot choc sample after was the best I ever tasted. It didn't need pushing - it sold itself! Just feedback. DEFINITELY DO THIS!

Overall the experience was good, however there was a lot of waiting around with no information being given to you. We hav to ask for the goggles and bandana as these weren’t given to us automatically. Additionally at the end we were waiting around for approximately 20/30 mins for the cap he’s to pick us up will spoilt the end of the evening, but this point we just wanted to ho back to our hotel.

We had a great night, staff looked after us from start to finish, the food was great and the buggy ride a joy. We were dusty from head to toe but we were forewarned and thats why we went. Then a dip in a lovely cave pool to wash it all away. Round the night off with some culture and a disco, what's not to love. Our grandkids loved it aged 8 and 9. Would do it again if we come back to Dominican.

Das Erlebnis vor Ort war gut. Highlight war die Buggytour und das Baden in der Höhle. Die Tour vor Ort war total durchgetaktet. War ein bisschen wie am Fließband. Die Mitarbeiter vor Ort waren sehr freundlich und serviceorientiert. Die Anfahrt war allerdings eine totale Katastrophe, erst kam unser Fahrer Carlos 1,5 Std zu spät am Hotel an. Unterwegs hat er sich auch noch verfahren. Wir kamen 2 Std zu spät in El Macao an,dadurch war unsere Einweisung chaotisch und die Brillen wurden vergessen

Arrivée du transfert avec 1h15 de **********, le chauffeur ne savait pas où aller. Durée du transfert 2h05 au lieu de 1h30. Circuit buggy sans paysage, buggy très vétuste. Impression que tout est fait à la « va vite » Présentation de produits locaux avec dégustation et vente à des prix exorbitants. Fête dans la cenote plutôt sympathique.

TUI did not tell us it was an hour and a half transfer time from our hotel. We never would have booked had we known this. When we arrived a basket was aggressively thrusted into my hand to buy products. We were also told we had to buy water shoes for 25 dollars. I have checked and rechecked and no where does TUI say you need to being these. We had no idea there woo be coffee tasting. We do no like coffee so just another selling attempt.

The trip was very expensive for what you got, the buggies great but no safety advice, was stop start as the group was big. The cave was great but rushed you got 25 mins, then food which was rushed again. Felt herded along as big group, you got rushed at the end it stopped at 22.00pm but then had to wait 45 mins for busses to get back. I personally would say just do a buggy experience as the rest of wasn’t worth the money .

As a family of 4, we loved the whole experience. The time in the buggy was perfect as it was a lot longer than we expected it to be. Although we had been warned about clothes and footwear, we were limited to what we could wear. I toyed with the idea of wearing my sandals, only changing my mind at the last minute and opting for my dive boots. I may have looked funny, but at least I didn't ruin my shoes. We opted for a photographer and now have some lovely memories of the trip. I would recommend.

Die Aktivität an sich war super! Es war sehr lustig und hat riesigen Spass gemacht. Das Ausfüllen des Formulars für die Buggy-Fahrt wurde im Shop gemacht, was zu Verwirrung führte, da der Tourguide verschwand und die Shop-Mitarbeiter mit den Infos weitermachten. Durch diese Verwirrung wurden wir zum Kauf von Artikeln gedrängt, da wir dachten, es wäre Pflicht für die Aktivität.

Vielen Dank an unsere Reisebetreuerin, Sandra, für eine tolle Empfehlung! Alles wurde super organisiert; der TUI Mitarbeiter hat uns sehr klasse unterstützt und sogar auf unsere Sachen aufgepasst. Vielen Dank dafür! Buggyfahren abends machte noch mehr Spaß als vormittags, sehr romantische Sonnenuntergang begleitete uns unterwegs. Die Gruppenbegleiter haben eine unvergessliche Stimmung während des Aufenthaltes in der Höhle und anschließend während der Show gemacht. Highlight der Reise!

Leuke tour, lekker eten maar neem waterschoenen mee voor het zwemmen in de grot de waterschoenen kun je ook daar kopen maar betaal je 25 dollar voor. Doe oude kleding aan ook meteen de waterschoenen want de modder die tijdens de buggytrip op je komt krijg je niet meer uit je kleren.

The tour guide was fabulous We did not get the extra 20 mins driving that was mentioned on your website, just the same as everyone else that did not book with TUI. As a diabetic there were minimal food options for me and it took about 20 mins to get a glass of water to take my medication before I could eat so my food went cold. Might be an idea to let people know on the what to take section that they will need a towel to dry off after the cave swim

Dune buggy was fantastic even the little culture show afterwards, but the rest very disappointing didn’t need the sales pitch Plus the cave was more like a rave party than a cultural education plus asking before we even start the buggy to sign if we want all the photos for $90 how do any of us know they are going to turn out ok. The meal was acceptable. The carnival at the end wow never seen anything as cheesy in my life complete joke. The bus ride home was horrendous neon flashing lights 😡😡

Don’t mind the two parts of the trip the buggies and the cave. But the extra stops at souvenir shops where you have to get out and walk around the shops plus the hard sell when you arrive for overpriced coffee and souvenirs. This made the trip a disappointment overall. Not worth the money.

Really enjoyed the buggy experience. We wished the time driving had been more equally split between the two of us (the first driver had much longer). The Taino show was good fun. The tasting part of the experience was really just a selling of their products. I would have preferred to understand how things were made etc. The cave party was an experience never to be forgotten. It was amazing! The food was excellent and really tasty. The final dancing was great fun too.

We enjoyed the cave swim and the history of the tribe show and the food was good although drinks was slow. The buggies you should wear old clothes and washable shoes or sandals and dark clothes. Too many people at once so cant really get any speed due to stopping a lot!! And we didnt get the extra tiu time as advertised. The last show was suppose to be a dance show ended up just a disco then being rushed through gift shop. If your gonna buy photos take cash as they charge you 15% to use card!

Very expensive for what it is, buggies are poorly maintained, slow and vague steering. Way too many buggies and had to keep stopping. The tour includes being funnelled through various gift stores which I didn’t appreciate. This is designed for American tourists, the swim in the cave was like being in a nightclub in a cave. Very odd experience. Food and restaurant staff were nice but meal was rushed to get to the next pop up American party. My first trip out of the hotel wouldnt do it again

This was a great value. It was awesome to do so many activities organized by a single group. Our guide Daniel, AKA, Sexy Chocolate, was super fun and engaging. The only thing that could've been better was that we didn't need to go through 3 souvenir shops all on the same excursion.

Buggy ride was great, although it is very dusty and there's a lot of stopping and starting. Chocolate, coffee and liquor tasting was delicious, recommend trying the chocolate tea (and buying it!) The cave pool party was great, the water is cold which is perfect to cool off. Changing rooms are available but no lockers. Also watch your feet on the stoney ground. Dinner is a buffet style to choose with water and open bar supplied. Would recommend, but do bring wet shoes and waterproof bag.

Too much time was wasted waiting to start the buggy ride, which made most of the ride happen in the dark. Then, We were rushed through everything else. About 20 minutes or less spent in the cenote, which was very disappointing. The rest of the activities were very rushed, only to leave you waiting for your return ride for 45 minutes while they tried to sell overpriced photos. This was ridiculous and very frustrating after being rushed all night.

Nicht zu empfehlen. Schlechte Organisation von Abholung bis Rücktransfer. 2 Std. Hinfahrt im engen, unangenehm riechenden Bus, danach 1,5 Std. Wartezeit. Es wird behauptet, Wasserschuhe für 25 $ seien Pflicht – sind sie nicht. Buggytour nur 1 Std. mit ca. 50 Buggys (ständig Stop-and-Go), Höhle völlig überfüllt. Insgesamt nur ca. 2,5 Std. Programm, aber rund 5 Std. Warte- und Transferzeit. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht. (Musste leider gekürzt werden, da nur 500 Zeichen)

The history of the locals was very interesting, but the overall experience was just a hard sell and the whole night was governed and timed to maximise how much time we spent in the gift shops, it felt like that was the main objective of the whole night. Also the service was really poor, upon arriving at the first point there wasn't even a bottle of water on offer (for free) and had to wait over 2 hours.. i before we finally could refresh. The potential for a great night was ruined by the greed

The experience was amazing, a great day/evening out. The offroad buggy drive was amazing. The guide was amazing. The tour around and a little history lesson was great. The rave in the cave was fantastic. Food was ok. The down side. You are not off the bus 5 minutes and they are trying to sell you the whole shop. And if you haven't booked with tui you have to hire masks and goggles. (Which was not cheap) But after the bad points it was worth every pound/dollar.

The buggy experience was great. Some people broke down but we didn’t however there were staff in buggies in front and followed us in case we needed their help. The driving was nearly an hour which was great and the track was bumpy and wet in places which was great. The idea of going in the water in the caves was a great idea to get rid of the dust and dirt. The shows and meal were good. Overall a fab experience and value for money

Een leuke gevarieerde activiteit met een kleine kanttekening, bij het aan komen op de locatie van de buggy tour wordt je gelijk overrompeld om 70 USD te betalen voor de foto’s, als je niet cash betaald wordt er 15% toeslag gerekend voor bankkosten en zit je al snel op de 80 USD. Dit vonden wij erg jammer en ontzettend prijzig voor een paar foto’s, hierdoor wordt het toch al best prijzige uitje alsnog tamelijk duur. Wij hebben de foto’s geweigerd en zelf foto’s gemaakt, dit was goed te doen!!

Rave in the cave was brilliant, they did mix up our buggy options but changed it. Was fun but could be a bit more wild. Food was average but tastings were good. Our guide was brilliant and the Tui rep called Jennifer at the Royalton punta cana is the best rep I have ever had!

Het enige minpunt was de fotoservice. Je betaalt best wel wat geld en er wordt niet echt moeite gedaan om goede foto’s van je te nemen zodat we uiteindelijk weinig mooie foto’s hadden. Dit zou ik dan ook niet nogmaals doen. De avond zelf was goed.

a little feedback from the buggy ride. Rest of the trip was ok, but the buggy ride had problems. First i dont think we got the blue TUI buggies, we got small red buggies we barely fit in...we also didnt get face masks but DIY work goggles and a bandana ... Other then that what was really annoying was the heavy coloring of our clothes due to the mud/water during the ride. We expected dust, we didn't expect heavy coloring red liquid ...We tried to have them laundered they are ruined...

We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The buggys were great but very mucky! Staff were attentive to safety. The village and the swim in the cave were divine. If anything we would have liked to stay in the water longer. Food was good and service excellent. Bus driver home played some great tunes which just kept the experience going. Would highly recommend.

Iur driver to event and back drive like a F1 racing car driver from brans hatch, no regards for speed limits, vehicle safety, or passengers. There were no seatbelts in the van, he drive above speed limit the entire time, was asked to slow down and turn off AC, but completely ignored us. The trip itself was nice if not rushed and over crowded

This experience was excellent, were a family of 8 adults and teens, we all loved everything about it, the buggies was great, only thing was there was quite a few buggies so it was a little stop start. But a great experience, the cenote/cave was fab we all wanted to stay longer, the culture info was great inc the chocolate and coffee tasting. The buffet food was great we loved it- and party at the end lots of fun. Highly recommended- perfect eve

Ausflug war soweit ok. Es wurde gesagt, dass es sich um einen deutschsprachigen Ausflug handelt. Aber es konnte wirklich niemand aus der gesamten Crew nur ein Wort Deutsch!!! Es wurde (sehr schnelles, undeutliches) Englisch oder aber Spanisch gesprochen. Der Ausflug war lustig und "dreckig". Die Verkaufsveranstaltungen waren nicht so unser Geschmack. Das Schwimmen in der Höhle war in den Abendstunden wirklich ein Highlight. Musik aber sehr laut. Das anschließende Essen war sehr fein.

Technisch super schlechtes Equipment und leider viel zu kurz die Quadtour und alles andere ist mehr fokussiert, sprich die verkaufen dir eine Quuadtour für Geld damit man kurz fährt um nochmal Geld auszugeben für irgendwelche Dinge die man kaufen könnte! Nie wieder

Buggy ride was good , helpful staff but cave swim was like a rave too loud , food was nice and had to wait around for coach to come back to pick up at end , during g the tour too much time standing round doing nothing , Paid $130 for photographs but none with 2 members of our party on so paid more than o should have !

Whole evening was rushed and guides shouting at you hurry up come on over there no explanation of how to drive buggy or help with fitting head gear ... Buggy gave off intense heat from under the seat and front console which meant you needed to shift about in the seat ... Guides repeatedly sped past with no warning and no wing mirrors on buggy ... Had to follow a procession of 50 buggies and not very much mud didn't receive extra time as a TUI customer ...

The evening and excursion was fantastic overall the only slight teeny fault and this is with TUI would be to make people aware and to change on their website or app for the excursion itself is that IF YOU DONT DRIVE or have ever driven you wont be able to drive a buggy as this is not explained and it states u dont need a licence etc...and we were told we didnt need one or that it didnt matter...but it did as 1 of the guides had to drive us round...still a fab excursion though all in all 👌

De activiteiten waren heel leuk! De organisatie tussen de activiteiten is was soms wat chaotisch, de communicatie had wat beter gekund. Verder super leuke ervaring en we waren blij dat Grace van Tui had aangegeven dat we schone kleren mee moesten nemen. Je kunt je namelijk daar omkleden na het zwemmen. Alles was ook super netjes, heel fijn.
