You'll move through Thessaloniki one flavour at a time, kicking things off at the White Tower – the city's waterfront landmark that once guarded the harbour. Then, it's time for warm bougatsa, a flaky sweet-cream pastry the locals love. After that, you'll stop at a cosy kafeneio for a cup of Greek coffee and to hear how these cafes became the heart of local social life. Next, you'll settle around a taverna table to share meze plates like feta, octopus and zucchini bites. The day wraps with a pastry shop visit and free time to wander the city at your own pace.
