Über Sicherheitsmaßnahmen (Scwimmwesten) würden wir nicht informiert obwohl viele Kinder auf dem Schiff waren. Tui Begleitung ist nicht mitgefahren. Sonst war der Ausflug gut, da dass Boot nur zu 50 Prozent belegt war. In der Hauptsaison sicherlich nicht etwas schwierig mit den Plätzen.

Die Betreuung war hervorragend. Es wurde auf Familien mit Kleinkindern und Verletzte Rücksicht genommen. Der Zeitpunkt unserer Buchung war perfekt, da das Schiff und die Blaue Lagune dadurch nicht so überlaufen waren. Die dargebotene Livemusik bei der Rückreise war romantisch und man konnte die Schiffsfahrt noch mehr mit griechische Flair genießen. Die Preise am Schiff waren auch in Ordnung zB €4,50 für einen Capuccino. Das Mittagessen war in dem Ausflug inkludiert und auch völlig ok. ??

I think it would prove useful to mention that the swim stop is just that,a swim stop with no facilities (bar/snack shop) . Advising in advance as part of the booking process would allow people to be more prepared beforehand perhaps in bringing more provisions with them. This is by no means a complaint, merely an observation on an area that could be improved. Overall we absolutely loved the trip itself and the staff on the boat were excellent

I was picked up at 7:50 AM and boarded the boat at 8:54 AM. After waiting over an hour, we were told the trip was cancelled due to an anchor fault. I returned to my hotel at 11:06 AM, wasting 3 hours. While I appreciate the refund, this could’ve been avoided with proper safety checks first thing in the morning- standard for any maritime operator and the excursion cancelled prior to guests being collected and embarking the boat. The lack of communication in the handling of this situation is poor.

Das Ziel, den Berg Athos sieht man nur aus der Ferne. Auch von den 3 oder 4 Klöstern kriegt man nur einen flüchtigen Eindruck aus der Ferne. Das Essen trocken, nichts Nettes, wird aber als Überraschung angekündigt. Die Badestelle war schön. Insgesamt war es nicht schlecht, bleibt aber hinter den Erwartungen zurück.

Die Tour hat insgesamt zu lange gedauert, also die Strecke zum Athos und wieder zurück und man hört den ganzen Tag zu laute Musik bis einem der Kopf dröhnt. Das Mittagessen kann man eher vergessen. Die Crew ist sehr bemüht, das Piratenschiff ist witzig gemacht. Also man kann den Ausflug machen wenn es ok ist, dass mehr unterwegs als Athos ist.

Bustransphär kan etwa 20 Minuten später da eines der letzten angefahrenen Hotels. Fahrt mit dem Schiff ca 1,5 h bis man bei den Klöstern und Berg Athos ankommt. Gute Erklärung zur Halbinsel und zu den einzelnen Klöstern in mehreren Sprachen. Erklärung im vorbeifahren kann somit leicht versetzt kommen je nach Sprache. Rückfahrt ca gleich lang direkt zum Badestop dadurch mehr Seegang. Badestopp 1,5 h fast zu lange und überschiffen auf die Insel eher unnötig. Gesamt sehr schöner Botsausflug.

Guter, abwechslungsreicher, nicht zu langer Ausflug. Das Schiff ist seiner Größe beeindruckend, Beschreibung vom Athos und den Klöstern informativ und gut verständlich, Mittagessen gut und der abschließende Badestop ein willkommenes Highlight, um ein bisschen abzukühlen. Der Fotograf an Bord ist etwas hartnäckig, versteht aber das vierte NEIN. Organisation top.

We booked this excursion to see Mt Athos and there was only about 20 mins viewing 4 of the monasteries. The swim stop was too long at over 1.5 hours. It would have been better to have as shorter swim stop and see all 8 monasteries, especially as it took 2 hours to sail to Athos.

We were miss sold as we were told we would not be on the Pirate boat and there would be 80 persons maximum. When we got to the harbour the boat for the trip was the Pirate boat and there were over 200 persons booked on the trip. The views of the monasteries were a waste of time and we could not hear the guide properly due to the poor sound system. The best part was the swim stop at the Blue Lagoon. Long day sat on hard seats and unable to sunbathe due to the "ferry type" seating. Food was ok.

Very friendly hotel & staff It’s a shame WiFi isn’t in the bedrooms this would be easy to correct. In this day & age everywhere has WiFi in the rooms. We were embarrassed at checking out we had to pay government tax in euro which we didn’t have. This could’ve been avoided had we been told by TUI rep or hotel when we arrived.

Good journey , good welcome to the pirate ship . Lunch was basic but tasty . We managed to see a dolphin pod on the way out. Monastries were explained clearly and the Blue Lagoon swim was fun and perfect for us . We are Honeymooners and this was our best excursion !!

was a great trip with a perfect stop as if not a strong swimmer there was a boat to take you to island for swim stop .food was really nice. bad point was when we arrived there was 3 boat trips going out and had to guess which one you was booked on .some people had to change boats

The trip itself was very good and enjoyable however no tui rep to help support which boat you are on in which there were 4 all doing similar trips thank god for the lady on the boat who spoke English to help us also on way back we were told coach 110 there were 5 none 110 with no support to help guide you back to the hotel. Saw no rep at all no welcome meeting to attend even in a different hotel first time ever I've not seen one!!

From coach pick up to coach drop off, the day we had was awesome. The coach driver was very friendly, the staff on the boat were exceptional, the guide was extremely knowledgeable and helpful but the best part of the day was the swim stop at Blue Lagoon, in a word, STUNNING!!! The only negatives were the food, although nice, it would have been nice to have a variety as our son ate very little, also, you have to print your trip voucher off, what if you haven't got a printer?? Needs attention...

Coach was late to pick us up, but when arrived was comfortable and air conditioned. Pirate Boat was great, comfortable and plenty of room. Information on mount athos was hurried and difficult to hear, would have liked more information. Swim stop at blue lagoon was gorgeous . Lunch was tasty , drinks were reasonably priced. Long day but really enjoyed it, probably not suited to young children because of the length of transfers (from our hotel)) and time on boat.

We very much enjoyed the swim stop at Banana beach. We felt there should have been more information about how long the boat journey to Mount Athos takes. The trip there took around 2 hours 45mins which would have put us off the experience if we'd known beforehand. Also, the boat seemed a little overcrowded and we initially struggled to find a nice seat.

Brilliant Day Cruising on a Pirate ship, 8 hour trip so probably best for older children, sailed straight to Mount Athos to see 4 monasteries from coastline. Lunch served (meatballs, rice, bread roll and tomato) which was tasty and more than adequate for me. Bars on board for drinks & snacks (cash only) and toilets on board. Then ship took us to Ammouliani for approx 50 minutes stop. Back on Board for a swim stop at Blue Lagoon which is not mentioned in the description of the tour. Recommend,

Ik ben nog steeds op een terugkoppeling aan t wachten van TUI, gezien ik voor onze jongste de volwassenprijs heb betaald, aangezien je alleen kind 0-3 of volwassene vanaf 12 jaar in TUI-app kon kiezen. Daarnaast stond er in TUI-app niet vermeld dat er een lunch bij inbegrepen was. Dus voor niets bepakt zijn we de boot op gegaan.

Tui descriptions are terrible. In this case it was better then described but it needs to have more detail. Was a great surprise to learn we were going to the blue lagoon for a swim. Was under the impression we would have a chance to swim in the beach at ammoulini. Needs more time for exploring ammoulini, or more than 40mins to find, order and eat a meal.

We thought the boat cruise and information shared by the guide was brilliant. The stop at Ammouliani was good, but we’d been led to believe that the beaches would be lovely and were disappointed by how much litter there was on them. We did find a better spot after a longer walk but thought it would be useful to have been advised by the guide how to reach the nicer beaches.

Prachtige tocht en goede uitleg door boordpersoneel over de omgeving en de geschiedenis. Aardige gids in de bus maar ook niet meer dan dat. Vertelde niets over omgeving etc. Jammer. Naar ons vertrekpunt moesten we eerst 600 meter lopen terwijl we de enigen waren die daar instapten en de bus vervolgens langs ons hotel reed. Onderweg bleek dat we ergens mensen vergeten waren en dus retour naar bijna weer ons vertrekpunt. Ruim half uur extra in de bus. Bij volgende opstappunten stopte de bus bij elk hotel ook al was dat 50 meter verder…. Mooie tocht maar logistiek geen hoogstandje.
