Vous aurez un véritable aperçu de la vie sur l'île, avec un repas bajan et un après-midi au Mount Gay Rum - avec dégustation.Situées le long de la côte caribéenne, les distilleries de Mount Gay embouteillent le meilleur de la Barbade. Vous commencerez par un punch au rhum de bienvenue pour vous mettre dans l'ambiance, puis vous entendrez parler de l'histoire de Mount Gay. Vous visionnerez également un court métrage qui vous fera découvrir les coulisses de la fabrication du rhum et l'histoire qui s'y rattache.Puis vient l'événement principal : quatre dégustations de rhum classique. Après cela, vous dégusterez un savoureux déjeuner bajan, avant d'avoir le temps de parcourir la boutique et d'acheter une ou deux bouteilles pour ramener un peu de la Barbade chez vous.

We were collected promptly from our chosen location. All the staff at Mount ********** Visitor Centre were friendly and the tour was interesting. Samples were described very well and tasted great. Food was plentiful. A thoroughly enjoyable trip. Would highly recommend.

The guide was very good. It would have been nice to have seen the distillery. I knew we would not see the rum being made but I did not realise we were only going to the visitor centre.

The Rum was great....guide superb....food also good Tui gave pick up time as 11.00.wewere ready from 10.50.We weren't picked up until 11.50.An hour wait and we couldn't contact anyone to start with.our hotel called on another number and found the pick up time was 11.30 to 11.45.very poor communication !!

I enjoyed the tour,the information provided was really interesting, the rum tasting was told in a way that had everybody laughing, we tasted 3 types of rum, the meal was a lot bigger then I expected it to be. Faults there was not any

Was expecting to see the distillery making rum but instead it was more museum like with a packing warehouse. But the young lady giving the tour and rum tasting was excellent, knowledgeable and whitty. We enjoyed learning about the history of Mount Gay and really enjoyed it. Lunch was also delicious. Would recommend it.

Good half day out that explains all about the rum and it’s history as well as enjoying tasting it ..but afraid lunch was only average for the amount of money paid extra to the 25 US dollar entrance fee
