If you're itching to explore another of the Canary Islands while you're in Fuerteventura, then this easy trip to Lanzarote will see you hopping there and back in a day. You'll catch the ferry over from Corralejo and dock in Playa Blanca, where it's up to you how you spend your time until the return ferry late in the afternoon.The ferry will leave mid-morning for a quick 45-minute crossing to the volcanic lands of Lanzarote. Once you've stepped on to its shores, you'll have about five hours to explore, see and do as you wish. Playa Blanca's got a whole host of shops, bars and seafood restaurants lining the promenade, which are perfect for a spot of lunch.There are also three beaches – two of which are Blue Flag winners, so you're guaranteed great sunbathing conditions. Alternatively, head out of town to see Los Hervideros, a string of wind and wave-battered volcanic cliffs, and one of Lanzarote's top attractions. Catch the ferry back in the late afternoon, and you'll be in Corralejo in time for a pre-dinner cocktail.

Unbegreiflich, dass keine Ansage bzgl eventueller Schwimmwesten bei einem Notfall erfolgt ist. Oder sind gar keine Westen auf der Fähre? Das wäre ja noch unverantwortlicher

5 hours proved to be too long to spend in Playa Blanca. Exploring only took 3 hours, so a shorter visit would have been better.

The Hotel was superb in terms of location, our room was spacious clean and bright although having no door on the bathroom with only a glass doors on the toilet and shower took a bit of getting used to! There was no guest information in the room only QR Codes which we don’t use and the TV menu was in Spanish, this was particularly galling as the restaurants only opened on alternate days apart from the Buffet restaurant which didn’t use.

No safety demo on the ferry. Very good coach driver. Lots of free time in beautiful Playa Blanca, but a map / info leaflet would have been very useful. We knew there was a market, but had no idea where it was and couldn't find it.

Het uitje naar Playa Blanca was zeker de moeite waard. Naast het winkelen en bezoek aan de lokale markt is het goed toeven op de boulevard. Heerlijk gegeten in de restaurants.

Coach pick up ontime, ferry ontime,overall every thing went to plan, the only thing that's not clear is it says to take your passports when you don't need them, the courier said you don't need them.

Super leuk een dagje Lanzarote vanaf Fuerteventura. Prima te doen en je hebt tijd genoeg. Wij hadden alleen de Ferry overtocht inclusief transfer en dat was prima geregeld. De tickets kosten via Tui net zo duur als rechtstreeks bij de Ferry maatschappij. Er komt alleen een kleine toeslag bij voor de transfer van en naar je hotel als je hiervoor kiest.

Stürmische Überfahrt! -- Reisetablette einnehmen. Haben außergewöhnlich nette Fotos gemacht. Klasse Reisemitbringsel gekauft. In Modeshops gestöbert und sind fündig geworden. (Herrliche Cottonerzeugnisse) Außerdem waren wir in einem Cafe. Der CafeFrappe war richtig gut. Bitte Kopfbedeckung mitnehmen und auch aufsetzen. Lichteinstrahlung !! Viel Freude !! Iris

Heel leuk om met de boot naar Lanzarote te gaan. Tochtje van 25 minuten. Playa Blanca natuurlijk toeristisch maar erg leuk met mooie boulevard. Heerlijk gegeten bij de visboer aan de haven.

Great value for money. Coach pick up at nearby hotel and transport to port. Guide was instructive, with additional tours linked if required. Trip over was quick with great views, small bar on board for refreshments. Short walk to resort and a whole bay of cafes, restaurants and bars. Plenty of time ashore, about 5 hours or so. Sea was calm, might be a bit exciting on windier days. Fantastic views. A very worthwhile trip. Book early, you'll want to do it twice.

Quick trip to lanzarotte which was enjoyable, nice beach and shops in playa blanca. Should sit upstairs and outside on ferry if possible to take in views and avoid sea sickness, but the queues are very long to board the ferry, so getting an outside seat difficult. Felt like we were being herded along like cattle.

The pick up from the hotel went smoothly, transfer to the ferry was well done. The guide spoke three languages fluently. The ferry was comfortable and we enjoyed our time at Playa Blanca, we would book an actual excursion next time however as we found little to actually do beyond shop/eat/drink
