You'll explore the Algarve high and low on this scenery and history-rich tour. First up is hilltop Silves, famed for its red castle and white churches. Then, it's on to Fóia in the Monchique Mountains. We'll then visit Lagos on the coast, seeing its former slave market, fortress and more. Rounding off the tour are stops at Sagres and Cape St Vincent.

Sehr langer Tag. Das sollte man auch vermerken. Mittag war eine Massenabfertigung und für den Preis (extra) nicht sehr schön. Die Wege waren sehr weit und somit saß man viel und lange im Bus.

lange Transferzeit (von Lagos); etwas zu wenig Zeit in Silves; obligatorisches Mittagessen ... war vorher nicht beschrieben bzw. benannt; atemberaubender Blick vom Bergmassiv; SW-Spitze ist ein Muss

Ana, die Reiseleiterin, war freundlich, fröhlich, informativ und sprach mehrere Sprachen. Außerdem wiederholte sie zur Sicherheit mehrmals die wichtigsten organisatorischen Punkte. Die Fahrt war sehr abwechslungsreich und schön! Wir waren/sind sehr begeistert! Das Gleiche gilt für unsere Fahrt nach Lissabon Dienstag zuvor. Auch auf der Tour war Ana unsere Reiseleiterin.

Man bekommt wirklich viel zu sehen, allerdings ist die Zeit an den einzelnen Stopps sehr knapp bemessen. Es ist inur ein kleiner Rundgang möglich. Also keine Besichtigung zum Beispiel der Burg in Silves oder der berühmten Kirche in Lagos. Die Verkostung auf dem Foia ist nicht der Rede wert, für Information ist keine Zeit. Positiv: Ansagen auf Deutsch und Englisch Negativ: sind um 7 Uhr abgeholt worden, zwei Stunden andere Gäste eingesammelt, bevor die Tour losging. Mit Kindern unmöglich.
