Visit the picturesque watermill village of Rastoke, then head to Plitvice Lakes, a world-renowned UNESCO Natural Heritage site, where you'll be accompanied by a licensed guide.The tour starts with pickup from your centrally located hotel or Park Zrinjevac in Zagreb. Once arrived at the historic village of Rastoke, situated at the confluence of the Slunjcica and Korana rivers, stroll around the well-preserved watermills and picturesque waterfalls and admire the unique architecture of the houses built along the river. You'll then continue to Plitvice Lakes National Park, one of the oldest national parks in Southeast Europe and the largest in Croatia.Your guide will take you on a walking tour of this UNESCO World Heritage-listed park, which is famous for its 16 lakes connected by a series of waterfalls. Get enchanted by the stunning nature that surrounds you, while your guide will share interesting details and lead you through parts of the forest and lakeside pathways. Before heading back to Zagreb, you will enjoy a boat cruise across the largest lake and a panoramic train ride, soaking up the breathtaking views and pure air.

Between November and March, the panoramic trains and electric boats do not operate. You will visit the park on foot instead

The tour operates in all weather conditions. Depending on the weather conditions some parts of the park might be restricted

At Plitvice, you will visit all the Lower lakes and the highlights of the Upper lakes (approximately 8.5 km / 5 miles walk)

A moderate amount of walking is involved with some steep parts, please wear comfortable walking/hiking shoes

Meeting point:

Hotel pickup and drop-off are available from selected hotels only. Otherwise, the meeting point is at Park Zrinjevac, Zrinjevac 2, in front of the meteorological station. You'll select your preferred pickup point at the time of booking. Please be at your pickup point 15 minutes before the time agreed with the local operator.
