We felt that the guide could have pointed us towards the highlights of the places we visited. Also he was quite hard to understand due to odd pronunciation. We didn’t get to spend any time in Garda, just walked through it and only an hour in Malcesine. Limone was lovely but again no guidance as to best places to go and a muck up on the ferries meant long queues.

Part of me feels like it was just a very expensive bus ride roumd the lake!! But...it was a great way to see the whole lake. Do think you should consider an alternative to using the main public ferries, this was not a great experience and would have made the whole trip better if a boat trip for just the group could be arranged.

We didn't get to go on the boat part because it was broken and although this was out of the guides control and he did what he could to carry on the tour, we felt disappointed and at the end of the tour we were on the motorway for quite some time so didn't see the last part of the lake tour. Not sure if that was to make up lost time.

Really good guide, Orlando and driver, Marco. Time in each town was disappointing though. 2hrs in Limone, 20 minutes in Riva del Garda and 1 hour in Malcesine. There was no time to a feel of the last two towns or consider the attractions open.

The overall trip was extremely rushed from start to finish. Heavy traffic in the tunnel on the way to Limone- the coach was in the stationary before entering and inside the tunnel for over one hour. This had a negative impact on the overall trip, one hour in Limone! - rushed through the streets by our tour guide who was very stressed, ushered everyone along extremely fast, then to a restaurant where this was obviously planned so as to get in as many people as possible. Riva only 20 minutes!!!

The towns we visited were beautiful the disappointing part was on our way to Limone we got held up in traffic in one of the many tunnels for approximately 1.5 hours which meant we only got an hour free time instead of the 2 hours we were supposed to of had. Which meant a choice between eating or looking around the town. Apparently this happens quite often this time of year. Had we had known this before hand we may have decided not to take this trip and get the ferry direct from Sirmioni.

Bus to Limone very nice stop although busy, very nice place, also boat to Riva ( even though just passing through was good to tick off as visit), last stop to Malcesine by coach was very rushed, it seemed a lovely town but you didn't in my opinion get enough time, an hour was definitely not sufficient time, especially as you then had to get back to the coach for couple of hours. So although in main enjoyed trip there is lots of room for improvement. I would have preferred later return.

You advertised as boat trip a 15 mins on a bferry does not count as a boat trip. Time in Riva was off the Ferry onto the coach it’s more of a coach trip with 15min ferry. Very disappointed. A lot of the knowledge the trip guide had was lost in translation. Limone was nice but so busy. 1 hour there would have been better. Riva was much more interesting. The last town was much the same as limone didn’t want to shop !! Went for the view. You should also mention how steep Malcesine is.

Our Tui rep Berit was very friendly and helpful. On the trip, the guide was very informative and friendly. The pick-up was 30 mins late. We didn't have time in Riva for a short walk around, we're off the boat and walked through to the coach. Overall is it was a great trip with plenty on time in Limone and Malcesine.

The weather has a lot to do with this survey, which no can control! I think we had to long in Limone as it was pouring down and that Riva del Garda was rushed it was like the route march through the town. Other than that it was really interesting Orlando our tour guide was quite informative and our lady driver was excellent.

It was a lovely way to see the lake in one go.. Rory, the resort representative was there to make sure that everyone got on ok. Frederic the tour guide was a font of knowledge.. We stopped in Limone and took a boat to Riva which would have been nice except it was delayed 1/2 hr and everyone was standing around in the heat which only gave us 10 mins to have a look round Riva but once on the coach we had plenty of time to look round the Malcesine.

The tour around the lake was a great way to familiarise ourselves with the towns around the lake and assisted us in making our plans for the rest of our stay. But the highlight was our tour guide, Fredrico. He was excellent and charming. His knowledge was exceptional and the way he told us the history of the lake and its surroundings was both fascinating and captivating. I feel that if he had taught me history at school I would have gone on to study it at university. Outstanding!

5 star plus. A brilliant day overall Frederick the guide hugely informative, entertaining and an all round very capable nice guy. He enabled us to understand the history, culture and environment of the various areas. Coach was comfortable, safely driven and always at the rendezvous on time. Stops and food breaks were well timed. The boat trip itself was a bit of a let down, crowded and we were surrounded by unpleasant people who spoke German but that low spot didn't spoil a fantastic day.

The guide was excellent so informative and his knowledge was amazing as he narrated the history of the towns going up lakeside. Limone was as expected small town, narrow streets and very overcrowded. Our ferry to Riva was 40 mins late and it was chaos at the port. It was certainly overcrowded and too many people on board. Only got 10 mins in Riva which was a shame however Malcesine was beautiful and got 1 hr there. Overall a really good trip. Great way to see the lake.

It was our first time visiting lake Garda so the trip was informative and the guide really knowledgeable and entertaining throughout the trip. It did give us some ideas of places we were easily able to get to during our stay and enjoyed seeing Riva del Garda at the top by boat. Downside it is a long trip. Even though its September Limoni and Mascerlane were totally packed with tourists. But id recommend the trip we did enjoy it overall.

There was no boat trip. It was a very short ferry ride from our only stop at Limone to Riva del Garda where we were just allowed a half hour to explore before getting back on the coach. We passed through towns without stopping that would have made the experience worthwhile. The onboard coach guide consistently gave her negative opinions about her personal experiences living in Italy and struggled to be selective when commentating.

Tui needs to sort out the issue with boarding the ferry at Limone. The port area for the ferry was tiny and full of other people waiting to get on the same ferry (in the hot sun with no shade) and not used to the concept of queuing. This situation made it very difficult for our guide (who did his best in the circumstances) to keep us all safely together and able to continue our tour when we disembarked to continue our tour on the other side.

We were told by the rep Jon that we were booked on the wrong trip and should go North. He told us he’d swop us onto the right trip but it was nerve wracking as our ticket said sth different. We went to limone, Malcesine and Baldino but it was not a cruise as advertised ( “glide across the lake on a cruise” it was a coach plus short crowded ferry. We were stuck in traffic jams for 2 hrs at the end of the day. The boat part was 30mins max. We’d already been to Limone. A wasted day. A refund pls!

As much as I liked seeing Limone, Riva and Malcesine having only 30 mins in Riva (basically to meet the coach back up after the boat ride) and then an hour in Malcesine meant there was really the time in either place to explore. I'd much rather have had 1.5 hours in Riva and not stopped in Malcesine.

The confirmation says boat trip from Sirmione and Desenzano, this is incorrect and misleading. It would be nice if the confirmation ticked provided a bit more details about the trip such as a itinerary with approximate timings. The information was provided at the welcome meeting but this was difficult to take in and remember as we had been up all night travelling.

Always difficult getting the balance right for customers. Our personal preference would be a bit more time in Riva, and less in Limone, but overall a great trip to experience multiple towns & a very scenic drive. Tui rep (Rory) met us initially which was great, and driver & tour guide were excellent.

Comfortable, relaxed, informative tour. A good way to get a 'feel' for lake Garda and to learn a little of the history of the area. You have to be flexible regarding the timings/arrival times of coach and ferry. There were 18 in our group which was about the right size of group. The tour would not have been as enjoyable had it been a full coach load.

The cave Latino of a ferry, a key part of the trip, seriously adversely the purpose of the experience.. much of the second part of the trip was effectively was seriously affected. In many ways the biggest issue eas the lack of communication. At one point we stood in heavy rain for more than half and hour waiting fir a ferry that had been taken out of service at the start of the day. It was exacerbated by an earlier ferry that we could have caught keft half empty!

Disappointing, as our transfer by ferry from Limone to Riva was cancelled last minute, and having to stay a further one hour and a half after already being there for 2 and a half hours. We eventually caught a line ferry which crossed to Riva but no tour as planned and our trip to Malcesine was a toilet stop in stead of an hours free time. This was our wedding anniversary so to say we were disappointed is an understatement. A private boat transfer is needed for reliability.

The weather made the trip unbearable. There was a long delay for the ferry at Limone which meant standing in the rain for 3 hours. Some of the tour visits were also not possible. Unfortunately it was too late to cancel. The tour rep was very good although very embarrassed.

The time in Limone was wonderful and not long enough. The ferry crossing can hardly be called a cruise….the 2 other towns we visited were so similar to Limone that even though the time in either of them was short the actual visits were unnecessary. It was a very long bus trip back to the hotel. I would have preferred a trip to Limone with enough time for lunch and a gentle wander and time to sit and enjoy.

We spent too much time in Limone (2.5 hours) where the town was quite small and only 50 minutes in Mescaline and an hour in Bardolino. These towns were much bigger and had a lot more to see. The balance of time spent in these towns was wrong and the trip would have been better had the balance been better.

Time spent in Limone (3 Hours) was too long In Riva, we had no time to look around at all, just a walk through to meet the coach In Masceline we had 35 minutes which was much too short The length of time on the coach following the visits was too long to go without a stop even if just a comfort break

I’m writing to express our disappointment with the Lake Garda tour, which unfortunately did not meet the expectations set when it was sold as an informative and engaging experience. The tour provided very little meaningful information ,no guidance on what to see / do, far too long in Limone, too much time on the coach, not enough of the Lake, very short boat trip with again no guidance. A really poor trip, would recommend against going to others. Guide not engaging

Overall good however the visit to riva was. a walk from the ferry terminal to the car park so didn't see anything and our stop at malcesine was an hour only time for a quick bite to eat and a drink so didn't see anything there

We were led to believe, from our Tui rep, that this would be a coach trip up to Limone, boat to Riva, coach to Malcesine and then boat back to Sirmione. It turned out to be coach back to Sirmione. Has we known we wouldn’t have booked the trip but would have used the deal on the boat service to Limone and Malcesine instead for half the price. Loved Limone, no free time in Riva and only 45 minutes in Malcesine. A good lake trip for those who wanted to be in a coach all the way but we didn’t.

5 hours in a bus is too long, when being told about beautiful villas which you can’t see. 3 hours in Limone ok but a little too long, when followed by ferry to Riva and a walk from the ferry to bus, no time in Riva at all then to Malacasino, down a hill told to buy, then back to the coach after 40 minutes. Total waste of a day

Too much time in lemone with no time in riva and very little time in melcesne. Coach used for trip did not have toilet facility. Stops were not as initially promoted/described by tui rep. I was expecting 3 stops of 1 - 1.5 hour duration at lemone, melcesne and bardolino which i was looking forward to. Disappointing overrated trip!

Not as advertised. Too long at Limone Boat trip simply a packed ferry crossing In Riva we were simply walked from boat to coach!! I’m Malcesine roughly 45mins. Followed by a very long bus ride around the lake. No criticism at all regarding the guide- not his fault . This tour is not as advertised and not money well spent. We have been on many TUI cruises/holidays and this probably rates as one of the poorest experiences we have had.
