Sailing, snorkelling and sunsets are in store during this round-trip journey to Rick's Café in Negril. Chill out on the catamaran, eat an authentic Jamaican meal and snorkel in the crystal clear waters before dropping into the world-famous clifftop café. You'll board the state-of-the-art catamaran in Montego Bay and sail along the northwest coast. A Jamaican jerk lunch is on the menu, washed down with local beer, rum or fruit punch from the open bar. Next, dive into the Caribbean for a swim or snorkel, or simply relax on board.Arrive at Rick's Café just in time for sunset. This legendary bar has its own pool, a live reggae band and a very chilled-out vibe. But the best thing about it has to be the location – it's perched on the edge of a cliff above a sea cove. Try and grab a spot on one of the Gaudi-style mosaic benches and watch on as brave locals dive into the water from the 10-metre cliffs.

I didn't like the fact that my experience was cancelled 2.5 hours before I was due to be picked up. The evening before we went to bed early and did not book evening a la cartes that day because of the excursion and waited for half an hour to be picked.We had checked the details the night before and at 8am when we were due to be picked up at 10.50 we went to the new pick up point and it was cancelled nearly 6 grand we've paid for this holiday and you have ruined a chunk of it

It is well organised trip, great people, lovely food, but trip from Montego to Negrill takes 3 hours in full sun on catamaran. I would expect beach stop to have a swim and to cool down mid way. There is no need to seat in Rick's cafe for over 2 hours waiting for bus that take you back.

The trip was cancelled 1 hour before departure due to low numbers. We could have been told the evening before as we lost half a day of your holiday waiting for this trip and waiting to be picked up at our hotel. I am also still waiting for an 800 dollar refund…… I have been through the messaging service and no one is dealing with this correctly. My next action will be to reverse the charge with Amex and also make a formal complaint to TUI. Shocking.

Great trip from Montego Bay to Negril and then onto Ricks cafe . Good food and unlimited drinks from Red Stripes to Rum punch or spirits of your choice you were never short ! Great fun partying with the staff with the music and atmosphere making the day very enjoyable! Also , a stop to snorkel which was a magic experience too.Big shout to Jason the bus driver home who took care of us and nothing was to much of a problem. Great time !!

The trip was cancelled due to bad weather. Fair enough. However, we were only informed about this after having sat in reception of our hotel for 45 minutes, as the pick-up time came and went. We made contact with the hotel concierge, as the TUI rep was day off. We then had a notifaction via the TUI app timed at 10.29. Pick-up was 09.40. Really poor communication on the part of TUI. Still waiting on our refund, as TUI rep on training day today. Appalling service - we will not be booking TUI trips

The driver/tour guide, from the moment from pick up at the hotel. He was very informative and knowledgeable, everyone on the bus was very relaxed. Catamaran was brilliant staffs were very good, keeping everyone entertain, making sure safety is paramount. Rick's cafe was very entertaining and very enjoyable. My only dislike is the Tour bus, no leg room between the seats, very uncomfortable, especially for long journey. Overall excellent tour.

The trip on the boat was great, food was good and so was the free flowing drink. Crew were exceptional, getting involved with everyone. You seemed crowded on the boat. You need more time at Rick's Cafe to be able to fully enjoy it, as you seemed rushed.

Het was een heel mooie excursie, professioneel, vriendelijk en behulpzame crew, lekker eten en zeker voldoende (alcoholische) drankjes. Het snorkelen was ook leuk, koralen en mooie vissen gezien. Rick’s café en de klifduikers waren zeker de moeite, we vreesden een beetje dat het daar een overrompeling zou zijn, maar het is een heel ruim café. Dit was ongetwijfeld de beste excursie die we deden deze vakantie, niet goedkoop maar wel waar voor ons geld.

Such a lovely trip, the staff were so helpful and friendly, made sure everyone was included in the fun and kept you feeling safe. The food was really good and plentiful as was the rum punch! The atmosphere at Ricks Cafe was brilliant and felt like a once in a lifetime experience, food was great (if a little pricy) and the bus ride back was great to see other areas although the minibus wasn’t the most comfortable! Thank you fir a day to remember

Check in took far too long - as we were a large party of 23 it was some time before we were able to check into our rooms which was very frustrating after such a long time travelling. The entertainment team were amazing, they remembered all of our names and greeted us on a first name basis every time we met up. The buffet restaurant provided a great variety of food and the Jerk Station was popular with us as well as the snack bar nearby.

Ich hab diese Tour schon das 4. Mal gemacht und bin immer wieder begeistert. Dieses Mal hat mir besonders gut gefallen, dass das Boot nicht so voll war. Der Schnorchelspot war nicht so berauschend, aber alles andere war wie immer top! Wir hatten heftigen Seegang und hohe Wellen, aber die Crew hatte alles richtig gut im Griff! Und Rick’s Café ist ohnehin ein Muss für jeden Jamaica-Besucher! ?? 100 % Weiterempfehlung

Staff on the catamaran was amazing so friendly and attentive, we were supplied with plenty of food and non stop topping up of drinks. They were very good taking people in the sea snorkelling. Rick’s cafe was fantastic so much fun, food and drink was very reasonable. Fantastic day all round.

Great vibe on the boat with good food and drinks flowing and not too overcrowded. The staff were constantly fetching drinks when people wanted them so we didn’t even need to visit the bar. Snorkelling was good fun and Rick’s Cafe was a nice end to the day.

The cruise to Rick's Cafe was superb, with brilliant boat crew, drinks and food, which was plentiful. The downside was at Rick's itself, and it was the music. The volume was unbelievable which has lead to me experiencing hearing loss the day after. On top of this, I went to the bar fir a beer priced at 6 dollars. I gave the man a 10 dollar bill and he gave me 3 back when it should have been 4. I asked where the other dollar was. It was in his other hand. Not good.

Absolutely brilliant day out from start to finish. The staff on the boat couldn't do enough for you. The snorkelling was great and the food and drinks on board were fabulous. Ricks cafe was so much fun and we had the best time seeing some dolphins as we raced them through the waves. Couldn't fault it!

Very good excursion would highly recommend! Was the perfect mix between party and chill! Started by driver picking up from hotel who was brilliant and dropping to marina for catamaran. We then boarded the catamaran and staff excellent, kept food and drinks coming all day with good music and very interactive. Snorkel equipment all provided and then smaller time to chill out in riks cafe for sunset. Then driver met us to drive back to hotel. Again would highly recommended, great trip!

The staff showed that they had a duty of care for all person on board. They ensured that everyone listened to the safety notice. They were friendly, attentive, professional, always checking to see if everything was OK. Showed patience towards those who were alittle anxious when transfering from catamaran to the small boat to get us to Rick's Cafe. Despite the weather they made the experience a memorable one. They made sure everyone left feeling that they had a good time. One of my best.

We enjoyed the cruise and snorkelling . Ricks Cafe was excellent also. Our only negative comment was that when they took pictures of us which we didn’t ask them to do they got funny afterwards as we didn’t buy them and sat behind us or waved their arms to obstruct our own photographs.

We hadden een catamaran cruise met sunset geboekt. De catamaran en de bediening op de catamaran waren top! De cruise begon rond 12 uur. Na ongeveer 2 uur varen mochten we snorkelen en zwemmen dat was leuk, maar te kort. Na ongeveer een half uur varen werden afgezet bij Rick's cafe. Leuk om te zien, maar na een uurtje ben je er wel klaar mee (prijzen zijn daar ook belachelijk hoog). In plaats van op de catamaran de zonsondergang bekeken moest dat bij Rick's cafe. Van 16 uur tot 18.30 is echt lang

Mooie catamaran, hij vaart heel hard op de motor bijna 2,5 uur naar Negril. Ivm harde wind hoge golven sommige kregen wel last van zeeziekte. Gelukkig wel gesnorkeld (mooi rif) met zwemvest en flippers door harde wind flinke stroming je moest echt flink zwemmen. Bij Rick's Cafe was het leuk om naar de duikers te kijken en de zonsondergang was prachtig. Wel vond ik het een lange zit bij Rick's cafe (bijna 2 uur) en geen Reggae muziek maar m.i. veel "herrie" muziek. Busrit terug 2 uur.

It was a great day from beginning to end. The driver was fun, obliging and informative on the way to and and from the catamaran. The catamaran crew were amazing and kept everyone happy and in a great mood the whole trip. The food,drink and fun were flowing the whole time. Rick's Cafe was a brilliant way to finish the day. The cost for food and drink at Ricks were not included but readily available on line so no surprises. All in all a brilliant trip I would encourage everyone to do.

The Catamaran was a good experience, The staff were good - you did have the chance to have photo's taken whilst on board - that were expensive. The weather was great - a little bit of rain, but the sea was calm and we were delivered via boat to Rick's Café. This was great and we watched the sun set - with music and dancing. The costs was high, hence the overall rating.

It was an excellent trip, we were liked after very well, all the staff were friendly and helpful, the food on the catamaran was good. I enjoyed the snorkkelng. Ricks cafe was a great place, lovely setting full of music and fun and a lovely setting and sun set.

The staff were friendly & helpful on the Catamaran. Our coach driver Marvin was fantastic and patient waiting for late arrivals to set off. On our return from Rick's Cafe, Negril, Marvin was told by a dispatcher that he had to take a further 9 passengers, which took us out of our way and we were already late settiing off. We were not happy being told to move around the bus to accommodate these extra passengers (one of which was either drunk or high on drugs). Marvin did a fantasic job.

Went to ricks cafe to see the sunset but bus picked us up at 1755 the sun hadn’t set? So we didn’t get to see it. The bus ride back to hotel 1 hour 50 was painful we sat on back of bus and it had no suspension so it was the most uncomfortable journey Staff were great and catamaran was lovely

This is a great trip but you’ll need your sea legs! We’re experienced sailors and it was rouuuugh! The staff are great though and really looked after the folk who got sickly. Nice food, enough drink. Ricks cafe is fabulous, make sure you wear good footwear for getting off catamaran on to land at Ricks! The cliff jumping is fabulous to watch especially the pro’s. Only down side is the drive back. It’s looonnnggg! Also, we had a blow out which was a bi scary but driver handled it all well!

Catamaran was brilliant, Rick's cafe was ok.... the cliff jumping was brilliant, but Rick's cafe no, both lots of ladies toilets out of order, you could only sit up stairs if you was eating, so we did because we wanted to see the sunset, the food was lovely but expensive, the coach was picking us up at 5:30pm so that ment we missed the sunset because that was at 5:55pm ??

Too many people on the catamaran, packed closely together! It would’ve more comfortable and enjoyable with more room!! The staff were all fantastic on the plus side and we enjoyed the snorkelling. For the money paid, the food was okay. Rick’s café prices were extortionate, we appreciate everything is expensive here anyway. I think you should advise people to get USA dollars for trips, would make life a lot easier. Our bus driver David was excellent and that made us happy. Not good VFM

It's not a improvement but the driver who took us to the get the boat and then drove us back from negril to montego Bay was amazing. His name was Hugh. He was amazing. The only improvement I would say was more warm food on the boat. There was warm food but more sandwiches and for the money you pay for the lunch wasn't that great.

Not very well organised. Food provided was small triangles of sandwiches and dried chicken. Music was very load wasn’t catering for majority of people on board. Equipment such as flippers were all old and need replacing. When went snorkeling were made to wear life jackets around our waste. Wrong equipment totally. Rick's cafe was great. Maybe start trip earlier as didn't get back to hotel till after 9pm.

Amazing day trip. Lovely Food. Friendly attentive crew, great music. The Catamaran trip and snorkelling were incredible and Ricks Cafe is a must see if you are going to Jamaica. Highly recommend this trip.

The Cat Cruise was great until we returned to the bay for snorkeling. Captain said we moored in 10ft of water, which I thought was a little shallow as the draught of the cat would be around 4ft. The weather worsened, lots of shouting by the crew to get the people out of the water. The stupid people tried to get back onto the stern of the boat, where the anchor & propellers are!. Then we hit the reef several times. Lost the anchor in the panic, but retrieved it later. Could have holed the Hull!

The catamaran trip was fabulous. The staff were extremely helpful and joined in all the fun. The swimming and snorkelling was amazing, and I’d like to give a big thanks to the staff member who swam down to the bottom of the water to rescue my glasses that fell of when I jumped in. Ricks cafe sunset was lovely. The worst bit was the bone shaking two hour drive back to the hotel.

A great day out, very tentative staff, we were looked after very well. Weather was rubbish but that can't be helped. My husband enjoyed the snorkeling. Bus driver was great too, very knowledgeable. I would recommend this as a relaxing day out.

Overall good experience with excellent staff and vibe. Perhaps one little comment and in order to make the experience more enjoyable, the catamaran just needed to go a bit slower to prevent sea/ motion sickness for some, otherwise all ok.

Loved this excursion! We were collected in a mini-bus with air con on full blast & music on full volume - for those who may want to bring ear plugs / jumper! However, our driver was fun & guaranteed everybody was collected! The catamaran - we sat on the lower deck (net area) - the place we soon realised you get soaked - it was fab! The staff were brilliant, food & drinks all great, safety ensured & activities well planned - so much fun!! Ricks café: wow, so amazing! needed longer there though!!

What a day! The staff were super friendly and attentive; the food and drinks were spot on; the snorkelling session was amazing and the sail to Rick’s Cafe was fun. Rick’s Cafe lived up to expectations, the cliff jump was scary but we are glad we had a go. The food and drink was pricey but we didn’t mind paying it ($18 for a burger). Our only complaint is that we had to get on the bus for 6:45 and the sun hadn’t fully set. The bus drive back was long but that was expected. Overall a fabulous day!

We booked 11.30 Wed.; no driver showed up so our hotel called and said they had us down for 10:20am. Our printed tickets that clearly said 11:30. They agreed to come back Friday. There was no mention of 3hr bus ride home. We returned after 10pm, vs 7.30 as stated. The staff on the boat was excellent

The catamaran and ricks cafe was really good, it does not state when you book online you will have to get a bus back from ricks cafe which takes 2hours our bus was also very unsafe we got a burst tier on the way back and had to wait on the side of the road until it was replaced meaning we didn’t get back to work our hotel until late
