Guides were extremely knowledgeable and brilliant at organising the ferry/ boat/coach/funicular/boat/bus tickets that were needed for this trip! Only gripe would be that most of the shops and some of the places to eat close at 8pm, but you don’t leave Capri town until 8.50 or 9.10 depending which funicular you catch, maybe make it clearer you should visit the shops and then go for a meal so you are not sat waiting to leave with nothing to do, it was a chilly wait! Food overpriced everywhere.

We hadden een uitstekende gids tijdens de rondvaart, Francesco, die ons met veel enthousiasme allerlei verhalen vertelde over de kliffen, de grotten, de bewoners in Capri, enz. De Boat Trip is een aanrader. Van Capri zelf hebben we minder genoten. We kregen een korte indruk van het stadje met zijn veel te luxueuze winkels. We hadden gehoopt om Capri op een andere manier te zien, we weten dat de natuur er prachtig is en dat er een natuurpark is, maar daarvan hebben we niets gezien.

Well organised and knowledgeable guides. Enjoyable walk around Capri with background information. Good amount of time at leisure to explore independently. Ferry was comfortable. We do not recommend Donna Rachele Restaurant as staff were not very helpful. When mentioned concerns with our food order we were told by the waiter that it wasn’t his fault, he didn’t cook the pizza and that he was a grandfather. Which was irrelevant! There was a long wait of 40 mins until departure of ferry.

The only negative was that once we arrived at Grande Marina (15 mins after our hotel pick up) we then had 45 freetime before meeting again to catch the ferry. This seemed pointless as we'd only just set off.

We loved the boat trip around capri which is beautiful and it was great going at the quieter time of day. It was good having organised buses to take us up to capri rather than having to wait in long queues for the funicular. The only slight negative I would say was that our guide took us through some back streets rather than sticking to the main streets so we then ended up lost trying to find our way back . Guide ( Cynthia) was very good and was very funny.

Loved the trip, especially the boat trip around the coast line. Capri was ok but I would have liked to spend some time looking around the dock and the older part. Too much time spent up in the main square. Just designer shops and restaurants. Had a lovely meal in a very friendly restaurant. The best part for me was the boat ride back is was magical. Just sea and stars. Needed first aid on the first boat journey. Not even a plaster let alone a first aid kit on board the boat.

There was a lot of waiting around time which was a shame. We’ve previously seen Capri on a smaller boat which was better but there wasn’t really any info on what sort of boat was used for the tour of the island. I was in awe of the ability of the boat to get very close to caves. Seeing Capri when it was less busy was good but if you’d not been before I’d say you didn’t really get to see much of it. I’d be disappointed if I’d not been before

I am shocked by the level of risk that will be taken to not cancel a trip and at how this trip has also traumatised me and now has tarnished my trust in TUI. On the 30th of August a weather warning was issued for severe storms from 2pm. But our boat trip still went ahead. The waters were choppy but that is something you can compromise with on a boat trip, also adjustments were made to the boat tour due to this, with it not fully being completed. However the Thunderstorm did arrive on the jour

Transfer bus picked us up from hotel 1hour and 30 minutes before the boat was scheduled to leave, leaving us waiting at the port for ages. The earpiece system didn't work in capri, due to the narrow streets and too far away from the guide. The boat around capri was very choppy. On reflection, due to the thunder and lightening storms we feel that the tour should not have gone ahead. It was very frightening coming home in the storm.

Our guide was very informative and we loved the boat trip around the island and all the things pointed out and stories behind them. We got some recommendations for restaurants and generally how it is best to go around the town centre which was very handy. Overall it was a great value for money , amazing memories and Capri is a must to visit when in Sorrento !

Pascale, our guide, along with another guide were excellent and could not be faulted. They gave lots of information, with great enthusiasm especially during the boat tour around Capri. Unfortunately we, and the fellow guests from our hotel also on this trip were less than impressed when we were dropped off at a bus stop, which was an extremely dangerous road to walk on - especially at. 11.30 at night and it was only good fortune that we were able to cross the road to the hotel unharmed.

We enjoyed the trip especially the boat around the island of Capri. Pasquale the guide was very professional and helpful and really made sure everyone was informed and happy. The trip was expensive and could have been arranged way cheaper had we done so directly, hence not really great value for money. We were picked up from our hotel really early and had to hang around for over an hour at the port. The driver of the car was less than helpful. Overall a great experience.

I felt that the tour could have been shorter by an hour and 30mins. It was too long to spend in a small place, with not much to see and shops closing down in the main port when we went down. I feel it needs to be better explained that the trip is mainly if you want to see lifestyles of thr rich and famous and ship in over priced designer shops, where you can get the similar items cheaper in Londons New Bond Street .

Really enjoyed this experience. Picked up from hotel and met at the port by the reps, bit hectic getting everyone sorted with headsets and bands but once on board the ferry everything was well thought out. The island cruise was great and then we were all shuttle up into the town by bus. The Guide showed some highlights and a place to eat, be prepared for the bill. Funicular back to the port was fun too.

The Capri trip has been the highlight of our stay, a beautiful island, well worth visiting by evening/night when less crowded. The boats were great, a unique opportunity to see the coastline and its charms from the sea. Had a wonderful meal on Capri, slightly expensive but worth it. Mingled with the rich and famous, the people watching opportunity was amazing! Didn’t see Elton but reportedly he has been seen this summer. A must do trip.

The tour was really good as was the guide. Our only criticism was the group was too big and we did a lot of waiting around. Initially for half an hour to wait for another bus of people to arrive at the port and at the end where the group did not all come down from capri at the same time and we had to wait again. When you’re on holiday you don’t want to waste time in the heat waiting around.

Absolutely amazing day. Very well organised and such a variety of things going on. The boat tour was the highlight and our guide was great. Although it seemed expensive when we booked, it honestly was well worth every penny and I am so pleased we went. We will remember that day for a long time. Capri itself was like no where else I'd ever visited.

A lovely experience but there was a lot of hanging around in between. The boat tour around the island was lovely and allowed us to see things we wouldn’t have seen from the land. The boat trip back was amazing. Three hours in Capri centre was a little long. Overall we enjoyed it!

The coach to the port was very hot I'm sure the air con wasn't working properly! Boar trip around Capri and the night time was brilliant I think 3 hours in Capri was too long perhaps 2 or 2 and a half hours would be better. Our guide again was excellent and recommended a lovely Italian restaurant which we went to and had a lovely meal

Fantastic trip Roberta was very knowledgable. Pointed us in the right direction for dinner. I was really nervous about the boat trip Roberta advised to sit at the back which we did. It’s was difficult to hear what she was saying on the boat due to the noise.

The recommended pizza restaurant was lovely and not too big. The service we got from them was great. It was a bit pricy for what we got. 2 pizzas, 2 Caprese salads and 2 shandy beers- 92 euros, ( included service charge). The views from the terraces during the sunset was amazing and photo opportunity moment. Lots of designers shops, plenty of tree/flowers filled streets. Nice friendly bars of the main street. The ferry ride across was filled with the air of fuel exhaust.

First of all we waiting, in the hot sun 1 and half hours for ferry to pick us up as it was late so when we got to sorrento we only had 10 minutes to walk round the shops which wasn't good. Boat trip round capri was good and up the top of the hill with all the posh shops. Enjoyed walking round the shops and having a drink, but the time we had their was far too long before heading back to sorrento but a enjoyable day out and worth seeing.

This trip with Tui was double the price of other operators The Tui rep at la solara Miriam wouldn’t give we our money back when my wife was ill we gave her more than 24hours now she didn’t care at any all she cared about was her commission Capri costs we 274 eros it was a complete waste of money

Was very nice to have the evening on Capri to explore and watch the sun set when the majorityof touristshad left. Even saw a celebrity walking around. The individual boat trip back at the end of the evening was lovely. Especially seeing the coast line all lit up.

Full of variety, friendly informative guide, particularly enjoyed boat trip around the island - getting so close to caves and finding out some of the island’s history. Funicular railway was an unexpected experience, too. Lovely to watch the sunset from the top of Capri. Great weather helped - a very enjoyable and memorable day!

Tout est pris en charge, du départ de l'hôtel au retour, le tour en bateau est très gaie, notre guide (Ornella) était vraiment top et pleine d'humour. Dommage de devoir comprendre l'anglais car aucune visite en français et dommage de payer 135euros par personne alors que cette excursion était faisable via l'hôtel à 75euros. Nous étions 3, je vous laisse faire le calcul. Nous l'avons su après, via d'autres Belges sur place.

Was picked up- hotel is ten mins from the port but waited 50 mins in the heat & no seats for boat. Boat crossing & island circuit good, but difficulty hearing guide. Guide ok at Anna Capri, then had a few hours free time which was good. Told early on last Fenicular at 9.30pm, so make sure we’re there. We went for 9.10pm fenicular but guide Dana was not there & missed it. Her colleague tried without success to phone her. We got 9.30 train but guide came to boat at 9.55 and had been drinking!

Disorganised, too many people, 91 of us. From the bus which picked us up which was shabby and almost non existent air conditioning in 30 degree temperature until being dropped off at night was disappointing. Arrive in Capri at around 6.30 until 10.00pm, probably an hour too long . Again disorganised at the Sorrento side for the bus pick up.

The group was far too big... I estimated in excess of over 100 people in the group.. So many in fact ,that if you were at the back of the group you were out of range for the headset. I didn't find Julia very personable or informative. Was disappointed to have later discovered that there was a chair lift which wasn't mentioned on the tour.

No safety information given on the boats. Guide Julie was great. The boat trip around the island was great but the guides talking was distorted because of the noise of the boat . A bit too long in Capri, could have returned an hour earlier but overall a fantastic trip

Good trip overall but spoiled by guide. They were aggressive towards one couple in particular and the “ discussion” was overheard by everyone using the earpieces. I think the group size (91 people) was too large with only two guides.

Great tour and perfect time to visit beautiful Capri, just as all the day trippers were leaving. Felt like you were one of the lucky ones staying on the island. Only criticism was the commentary on the boat was difficult to hear over the sound of the engine at the back of the boat.

The guide Desiree was excellent. We were given clear instructions. The only downside was that we arrived at the ferry terminal 45 minutes prior to departure and there wasn’t any shade and no where to sit.

The trip started well although we weren't told it would be 2 groups merged together at points which made things difficult, we had to wait over an hour for the ferry to crossing to capri then rushed to the boat for the trip around the coast which was lovely before rushed again to a cramped minibus no toilet breaks offered before being left to it for free time, the recommended restaurant was cheap but service was poor overall nice place but trip could have been much better

We enjoyed the boat tour around the island, and the seeing the carpi, best thing we had good time relaxing enjoyed the food which was recommended by the rep,and seeing the veiws, found a nice cafe by the Square overlooking veiws which was resonable price. We are please went on the evening tour more quieter and cooler and less people.

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Going to Capri later in the day was definitely the right move as it gets packed during the day. We went by boat around the island viewing the caves and grottoes and then had a few hours to have a meal and look at the fabulous designer shops on Capri. We also saw the sunset which was beautiful. Good value for money

We were picked up late from the hotel and then had to wait too long for the next boat to Capri. This meant standing around in the heat for nearly one hour. Not really the best start.

When we booked this trip We didnt get told that after getting to the harbour at 2.30 pm we would not leave till 3.50pm standing in the heat wasting our day! Also told we had free time to do anything we liked but after the boat trip round island there wss no free time most shops were closed even public loos! No time for chair lift which we couldn’t do

Vastly overpriced,, we were told that we would have time to visit Anna Capri,, which wasn't the case ,,we were also told that this was an intimate trip with only about 14 people in your party but was a free for all to be honest.

The arrival was one hour too early with no shade to wait. The boat was too noisy and couldn't hear the tour guide. The tour guide went ahead and with the chaos of people in Capri was easy to lose contact

The day itself and the guide were excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and being able to be there in the evening with less crowds and more comfortable temperatures. The big and only downside to this trip was regarding pickup in the afternoon. Being one of the first group to be taken down to the port we were there an hour and twenty minutes before embarking the ferry. With early afternoon temperatures this is a long time to be hanging around waiting.

Downside was having caught minibus to port then a wait of one hour for ferry - why not start tour later? However our guide was wonderful, very knowledgeable on tour of island by boat with plenty of humour.

The boat trip excursion around the island was superb and the captain was a superb navigator and a quite Capri at night was enchanting, The guide’s recommendation of restaurant to eat was not so good although trying to keep expenditure down the food was very plain and unappetising and there were other restaurants with good menus for a few euros more which we would have gladly paid.

A lot of standing around in the heat. Minimal opportunity to get refreshments, guide would point out toilets but never stop to allow the use of them. Couldn’t hear a word that was said on the boat tour. The overall package was good and a way to see Capri and all had to offer with the additional free time.

It was an exceptional day. Everything ran smoothly. It was a brilliant opportunity to spend time on the Island in the evening when the crowds had dispersed and to be able to relax and soak up the beauty and atmosphere of this lovely Island. Only minor criticism was the guide on the trip around the Island used a tannoy system rather than the headphones and some of the commentary was difficult to pick up.
