This cruise around the northern tip of Zante serves up plenty of camera-friendly scenery and swim stops in hidden coves. You'll see stretches of the island's most mesmerising coastline, including the Blue Caves and Smuggler's Cove – that famous Greek postcard of the rusting cargo shipwreck on a pristine cliff-ringed beach. Chrissy, one of our expert local guides, says, "the sea around the Blue Caves seems to glow electric blue because the white limestone underwater reflects the sun through the azure water.'" You'll get to catch Zante's top coastal draws in one relaxing boat trip. We'll scoot around Cape Skinari, famed for its lighthouse, cliffs, windmills and pastel-blue water. After about two hours at sea, we'll reach Smuggler's Cove and the onshore shipwreck. Back in the 80s, a ship carrying contraband cigarettes ran aground in this chalk-white, pebbly cove. Nowadays, in order to preserve the area, the beach itself is closed to visitors, however, you'll still get to snap up iconic pics of the rusty ship from the boat. Chrissy adds, "Zante's best-known beach is only accessible by boat and it's one of the most photographed spots in the whole of Greece. A crime gone wrong has left us with an unexpected treasure."After a dip, you'll continue to the shimmering Blue Caves, where we'll pause for a photo stop. Carved into the cliffs, the sea-smoothed walls form arches over the dazzling blue waters. You'll have Greek snacks and drinks on board, followed by some time anchored at a secluded beach gem. We'll end the cruise on a high note with some entertainment – Greek dancing – as we bob back to shore.

Der Ausflug selber bot schöne Aussicht auf die Westküste der Insel bis zum shipwreck Beach. Die Blue caves sind wegen starkem Wind ausgefallen. Da kann keiner etwas dafür. Aber es wurde nicht mal erwähnt, dass diese wegfallen, immerhin war es eines der 2 Highlights der Tour. Unser bestelltes vegetarisches Essen stand auf keiner Liste. Am Ende bekamen wir dann doch noch eines, weil komischerweise 5 übrig waren. Die beiden badestopps waren schön. Am Ende kamen 2 Tänzer. Massenveranstaltung.

This trip is not up to the TUI standard and you need to fix these issues to avoid upsetting customers. Toilets on the boat were absolutely disgusting and filthy. Male toilet had a broken door lock and no toilet seat. Seating on the boat was hard and uncomfortable. Trip was 9 hours, not 4-8 hours as stated. Food provided was disgusting, a chewy undisclosed meat kebab I would not feed to a dog. Drink provided, cheap wine or... water. Really? I will be demanding at least a partial refund. Rip off

Swim stops were great, but we had to just leave all our valuables on the chairs and hope for the best! No where offered to secure anything. We were told the tour would be max 18-20 people, but the boat was clearly more than that! 3 decks of people on a large boat, closer to 150-200 people!

Great trip and stunning snorkeling stops. It would have been better to stop at the Blue Caves there and back. We only stopped on the way back and the sun was behind them so not blue as it was on the way up. Booking also led me to believe we would be picked up at the hotel (Bitzaro Grande) as it was selectable, neither the email or voucher said otherwise. I happened to check the booking on the app half hour before pick up and noticed it was on the high street, this needs making much clearer.

The transfer bus and boat were very good, food was Souvalaki and salad which was ok. The swim stops were amazing but definitely need a snorkel to appreciate them the most, The captain gets you right into shipwreck bay and the swim spots, beautiful scenery and caves in the limestone rocks, as good as any trip on the island.

For en så lang reise til den prisen for flere personer hadde jeg kunne leie en båt på egenhånd og fått en mye bedre og intim opplevelse. Jeg kom ikke nære nok attraksjonene som jeg trodde og de andre turistene sperret utsikten hele tiden. TUI personalet var veldig flinke, god på historien og behjelpelig med brennmanet behandling på båter.

Laura the Tui rep is SO lovely! A real credit to Tui. That’s where the positivity ends. The boat itself was run down, overcrowded and smelt so bad. If you’re not breathing in the fumes from the lower deck, smokers are positioned in the middle deck, which is covered, therefore whenever you go down for your swim or food, you’re met with a collision of toxic smells. I don’t care if people smoke, but surely make the designated area upstairs! Sadly there isn’t enough space to comment on the rest

Loved the whole trip. Boat not too overcrowded and we were well informed about what was happening and about the scenery throughout. Food was okay and plenty to buy on board. The swim stops were beautiful and just long enough. The boat was clean and toilets were sufficient. We sat on the top deck. Very little shade but was breezy and comfortable.

We sailed on a large boat which had 3 x decks. We sat in the sun on the back of the top deck which gave fantastic views. The staff spoke over the PA system with local knowledge and tips. Lunch provided was tasty and the dancers were a great addition. We did 2 x swim spots prior and after the shipwreck stop but I would have liked a third swim, also the trip could have been longer for the ££. Even though there were designated smoking areas, some guests ignored this but staff didn't say anything.

The trip was great, TUI took care of everything! Transfers, the trip, lunch and return journey. The trip itself was lovely and a great way to see the island. The western sea is incredibly choppy! The eastern side was much calmer. From one parent to another - the trip lasted a full day and whilst beautiful, it was quite a long time at sea for young children. There were a few swim stops which were lovely but due to the sea conditions (known) it meant they had to sit still for the duration.

The coach was 20 minutes late picking us up so by the time we got to the boat it was rammed full and we could find one table right next to around 12 noisy children for the whole cruise it was noisy we couldn’t even hear the rep telling facts so had to keep going out for some peace but I am disabled can’t stand for long periods we were bored and dissatisfied after paying 112 euros we expected more from then to top it all after we left the boat our coach wasn’t there we were left in sun late again

De tussenstop voor de dansers op te halen is echt niet nodig. De boot zit goed vol en dan moet er nog plaats gemaakt worden voor de danser dat helemaal geen meerwaarde heeft aan deze tocht. Wij persoonlijk kiezen ervoor om in de toekomst geen dansers meer mee te nemen. Muziek mag ook iets stiller voor mensen die aan de boxen moeten gaan zitten omdat er nergens anders plaats is

I haven’t rated any of the above because they’re too vague. Service overall was fine, the guide was very knowledgeable. I’d say that for the cost of the experience it was massively overcrowded, our bus was 25/30 minutes late so we were the last bus to arrive and there were no seats left. I think for £100 for two you’re expecting to be able to sit together. You need to look at more premium experiences to offer, we haven’t been on the strip all week we’ve been in a 5* Hotel. I’d pay a lot more!

Tevergeefs 20 minuten voor - en 40 minuten na 08.05 op zaterdag 10 mei 2025 op afgesproken ophaalplaats staan wachten op transfer samen met engels echtpaar uit Zante Maris hotel. Na telefonisch contact door de engelse dame met de UK helpdesk om ongeveer 08.30 bleek dat wij 4en op de excursie lijst stonden, maar was de bus toen al bij de haven Wat er precies fout is gegaan is tot op heden onduidelijk, maar in ieder geval stonden wij op de afgesproken ophaalplek ( Popeye's restaurant in Tsivili )

We struggled to understand the tui rep when she was speaking into the mic as the sound was not clear. We were disappointed with the blue caves as we just sat outside them and we didn’t realise what we were even looking at. It wasn’t explained very well. I felt we were on the boat to long snd this was causing people to become unwell with sickness. Glad we went however would not recommend this trip.

This was a good cruise around the north of the island taking in the shipwreck and plenty of beautiful swim stops. There was lots of interesting info provided as we were cruising. However, the boat was rammed packed and felt over subscribed compared to what we had been told by the rep. also the lunch could have done with being delayed until we had got out of the choppy waters!!

The whole cruise was great, our guide kept us informed or what we could see whilst sailing, the scenery was beautiful. The swim spots were great, beautiful clear water with lots to see and enjoy. Out lunch was good and the entertainment which we didn’t know about was a great bonus and very enjoyable. The crew on board were very helpful and friendly.

Seeing the area was a beautiful experience, however the boat didn't stay long, literally sailed up as close as he could get, stopped turned the boat around so people could take pictures then sailed off, no stopping at all. We didn't stay long to sit and take in the view. Plus way to many other experience boats arrived making our boat very choppy and difficult to take pictures. Making people fall into each other.

Greek dancing was great, but as they could only really do it on the middle deck, it got crowded and music was rather loud which was too much for my son who has sensory issues, so we went and stood on the bottom deck until it had finished and watched the waves, which no1seemed to mind.

It was a large boat. Not stated in the description. With about 150 people. The food was great though. They have like a bar/market to buy extra if needed. The stops were nice and refreshing. However it is not for small children. You stop on open water, not at a beach that is swimming distance. So if you can’t swim I wouldn’t recommend.

I loved the whole experience, Kay who was our TUI guide was highly knowledgeable and both me and my husband learnt things during our trip. The stops were amazing and the crew were friendly and welcoming. The only thing that may be helpful for future would be to have the name of the trip on the bus, especially in the morning. We were at a bus stop that was widely used and worried we would miss the tour bus for the airport transfer at one point!

Well organised trip with friendly staff on a 3 tier boat. The scenery was beautiful. Food on the boat was nice pork kebabs and a tasty veggie rice option. Swim stops were amazing and safe for kids. Overall a lovely experience, would definitely recommend if you want to see the shipwreck.

The trip overall was excellent and the staff were fantastic, tui staff were very knowledgeable and were extremely helpful and friendly 10/10 for them.The boat on top deck was not very clean looked like sick on the seats and rails, the pork kebabs that was given for the lunch were not cooked through so was inedible.

Sehr schöne Tagestour, sehr freundliches Personal, 9 von 10 Punkten, weil wir den 3.Badestopp Xagia Beach (Schwefelstrand) nicht angefahren sind. Möglicherweise habe ich die Lautsprecherdurchsage wegen des Grundes für die Nichteinhaltung des Badestopps am 6.7.2024 nicht verstanden. Ansonsten war alles bestens, Bluetooth Cafés, etc., auch das Mittagessen (Souflavi-Snack) war in Ordnung.

De prijs voor deze tour is vrij hoog. Allereerst een uur moeten wachten voordat de bus ons kwam ophalen op de afgesproken plek. Als je niet van in de zee zwemmen houd dan is deze tour minder geschikt. Wij hebben overigens wel heerlijk gezwommen in de zee. Mooie foto’s kunnen maken van de heldere blauwe zee!

Informatie evt via Tui app versturen; per mail was voor ons wat omslachtig en vergeleken met andere jaren werd ons alles via de app gecommuniceerd.

Schiffswrackbucht komplett überlaufen. Am Ende war noch eine Tanzeinlage inbegriffen, die den Großteil der Passagiere mehr gestört als unterhalten hat. Die Tänzer forderten aufdringlich die Passagiere auf mitzutanzen. Tanzeinlage in Ausflugsbveschreibung nicht enthalten. Mittagessen inbegriffen. Blaue Höhlen wurden im Vorbeifahren innerhalb von 30 Sekunden besichtigt.

Die Ziele waren traumhaft schön! Leider war das Boot viel zu voll und leider zu groß. Ein kleineres Boot wäre echt schöner gewesen. Deshalb werde ich beim nächsten mal einen Anbieter suchen, der kleinere Boote anbietet oder ein Privatboot mieten.

Sehr schöner Ausflug, auf jeden Fall sehenswert, allerdings war der Aufenthalt in der Bucht leider nur sehr kurz, nur ca. 30 min und an den Höhlen fährt man mit dem Schiff "nur" vorbei, ein kurzer Aufenthalt, bei dem man auch ins Wasser darf wäre schön gewesen.

Die Reise an sich hat mir rundum super gefallen. Was schade war: Wir hatten vor Ort einen Ausflug gebucht, der am selben Tag wenige Stunden vor Beginn aufgrund zu weniger Teilnehmner storniert wurde.

Die versprochenen Leistungen wurden eingehalten aber das war echte Massenabfertigung. Das Boot/Schiff war riesig.
Die Landschaft und das Meer sind sensationell aber auf Grund der Menschenmassen kaum zu genießen.
