From tigers, lions and giraffes to penguins, monkeys and more, Pafos Zoo is a giant playground where kids can run wild and discover over 500 species of animals. You'll get to spend a few hours exploring the zoo at your own pace – a great day out for the whole family.Venture in and wander from enclosure to enclosure in your own time. Meet all the residents, big and small, make sure you catch the famous parrot show and take the kids down to the children's farm where they can pet and interact with friendly animals.There's also everything from elephants and giraffes all the way to guinea pigs and porcupines. You'll also encounter colourful birds such as flamingos and reptiles like snakes and tortoises. What's more, the park has all the facilities you'll need including a snack bar, restaurant and souvenir shop.

Poor
Only booked tickets- Zoo is very poor. Animal habitats are very run down, with the exception of the elephant as this seems to be the money maker for them. The lion and tiger enclosure had lots of bones left laying around and poo, the stench was awful. Staff at the zoo were not the friendliest, very abrupt and disinterested. Would not recommend going here.

We felt the zoo itself was very large & spacious but very upsetting seeing how small the enclosure was for the larger animals, as they had absolutely no space to roam about in their small spaces. I love visiting a zoo when abroad, but felt this one was actually the worst kept zoo I have ever seen.

Loved the experience with the leemas very good price and great interaction with the animals. Parrot show very good. Considered elephant encounter but was super busy. Great prices on the snack bar

I want expecting Pafos zoo to be anywhere near as good as it was! It’s a small zoo but with loads of animals to see! Hardly any empty enclosures which is brilliant. But the elephant experience was the icing on the cake! A truly magical and very emotional experience, she is clearly very well looked after and cared for and it’s certainly not just for entertainment activity.

Really good day out, we booked tickets only as we were staying close by and taxis were reasonable. The TUI rep (Callum) was very helpful in advising us and the zoo staff too.

The zoo and the experiences it has are amazing, we made sure to do any extras we could whilst there, you can buy fish food on arrival and feed the koi in the pond opposite the entrance, after a short walk you come to the lemur enclosure where you can pay €5pp to walk through and feed them(they do jump all over you) which was the highlight of my visit, the. Later on we did the elephant experience which is €50 for a group of 1-5 which is truly amazing and something I don’t not think most zoo offer

Lack of space for the animals.. some larger animals cages & spaces were far too small to accommodate for the size of the animal. We noticed some animals (like Muntjac deer were seriously panting, but there didn't appear to have any water for them. Needed a wheelchair, but was far too difficult to push due to hills. Maybe invest in a couple of motorised wheelchairs that can be booked in advance, maybe even charge €5 for using it.

Last visited paphos zoo around >10years ago where it was upsetting and shocking. Much better now and amazing to see the beautiful lion pack. Elephant looked a bit lack luster and a number of animals wandering around not in cages! Not sure if that is intentional or they escaped

The bird show was really good and very entertaining. The reptiles house was amazing, feeding the giraffe was fun and there were a lot more animals than expected. You need to be careful that you don’t miss any parts as it’s all in loops that sometimes overlapped.
Overall we had a great time.

Lots of animals to see, all looked well looked after. Nice clean environment. Extra charges to feed the giraffe and elephant but well worth it. Clean toilets and two eating/drinking areas well stocked and friendly staff. The bird show including parrots and owls is well worth a watch with photo oops.
