O que esperar
Vanaf 24 augustus tot en met 21 september is het Mauritshuis gesloten vanwege grootschalige onderhoudswerkzaamheden. Gedurende deze periode reist 'Het meisje met de parel' naar Japan. Het schilderij is vanaf 15 augustus tot en met 5 oktober niet te zien.Het Mauritshuis herbergt de mooiste Nederlandse schilderijen vanaf de 17e eeuw, uit het tijdperk van Rembrandt en Vermeer. De compacte en wereldberoemde collectie, gelegen in het hart van Den Haag, omvat meesterwerken zoals Vermeers ‘Het meisje met de parel', ‘De anatomische les van dr. Nicolaes Tulp' van Rembrandt, ‘De distelvink' van Fabritius en ‘De stier' van Potter. Bekijk meer dan 200 werken van Nederlandse en Vlaamse meesters, tentoongesteld in de intieme tentoonstellingszalen met zijden wandbekleding, schitterende kroonluchters en monumentale beschilderde plafonds.Download de multimediatour van het Mauritshuis op je smartphone om meer te horen over de schilderijen in het museum (beschikbaar in het Engels en Nederlands). De belangrijkste kunstwerken komen ook aan bod in de ‘Highlights'-tour (beschikbaar in 11 talen).De vooraanstaande Belgische fotograaf Stephan Vanfleteren liet zich inspireren door de schilderijen in het Mauritshuis. Dit heeft geresulteerd in zestien werken, waarvan er vijftien nieuw zijn, één voor elke zaal van het Mauritshuis. In‘Pentimenti – Stephan VanfleterenAmong the Masters' hangen, staan en liggen ze te midden van hun eeuwenoude inspiratiebronnen.

De tentoonstelling 'Pentimenti – Stephan Vanfleteren Among the Masters' is vanaf 23 april 2026 tot en met 23 augustus 2026 te zien
De volledige multimediarondleiding is beschikbaar in het Engels en het Nederlands. De rondleiding langs de hoogtepunten is beschikbaar in het Nederlands, Engels, Frans, Duits, Spaans, Italiaans, Oekraïens, Russisch, Mandarijn, Koreaans en Japans
Een multimediarondleiding van de collectie is bij de entree inbegrepen en kunt u volgen via uw smartphone
Met je e-ticket kun je de kassa omzeilen. Deze toegangskaarten geven je echter geen voorrang bij eventuele wachtrijen buiten en voor de tentoonstellingszaal
Het museum hanteert een tijdslotregeling. Tickets moeten uiterlijk 15 minuten na de op je ticket vermelde starttijd worden gebruikt. Na binnenkomst kun je zo lang blijven als je wilt
Het Mauritshuis is geopend vanaf dinsdag tot en met zondag van 10.00 tot 18.00 uur en op maandag van 13.00 tot 18.00 uur
Deelnemers (0-17 jaar) hebben gratis toegang, maar het is verplicht om een ticket te reserveren
Het museum is rolstoeltoegankelijk, maar de rolstoel mag niet langer zijn dan 150 cm of breder dan 78 cm

Applications pour smartphone très bonne qui permet de naviguer à sa guise.
Et cerise sur le gâteau pour une personne âgée ( 87 ans) possibilité de s’assoir un moment dans beaucoup de salle

My only issue was my mistake. I didn't realize how close you were to the train station. I also didn't know that I couldn't bring my suitcase inside. Maybe put something on your site that suitcases should be left at train station lockers.

Gran bel museo, con opere d’arte di grande levatura. Ottima la disposizione dei dipinti. Solo una cosa mi ha lasciato perplesso: la disposizione delle luci non permette di godere al meglio dei colori: ci sono riflessi ovunque. Anche la luce naturale dalle finestre crea riflessi.

Unfortunstely the audioguide did Not stay in German laguage. It changed to English in many siruations. The groups wish came trough hby a guide had noch loudless audio. That was disturbing.

I had a small suitcase with me which I could not leave and had to walk back to the station to leave it in a locker. You have a place to leave coats and it would have made my visit much easier if I could have left my bag there.
