O que esperar
Watching the sky light up with shades of orange and then burn out into darkness while standing atop a volcano is a special sensation. This drama-rich tour takes you to Mount Etna – a must-visit when in Sicily. You'll head to an altitude of almost 3,000 metres to catch the sunset and then relax over a traditional meal to round off your adventure. You'll go by minibus to Etna, then, as the terrain becomes rockier, you'll switch to a 4x4 vehicle. As you make your way to 2,900m above sea level – the highest point that's safely reachable – there'll be stops to take in the harsh, lunar landscape and the lava-smothered flanks of this towering mountain. Make sure you're wearing comfortable walking shoes and warm layers – it gets cold at high altitude. After admiring the views from near the summit, an expert alpine guide will take you to a less exposed 2,500m, where you'll watch the sunset in a more comfortable location. Then on the way back, you'll stop at a chalet restaurant for a typical Sicilian dinner.

Führung auf Ätna mit Vulkanologen sehr gut.wir wurden nicht per Mail über die Vorverlegung der Abfahrtszeit informiert. Wobei ich einen Tag vor dem Ausflug eine Mail mit falscher Abfahrtszeit bekommen habe. Wir wurden nicht vorher darüber informiert, dass auf dem Weg zum Ätna 2 Stopps eingelegt wurden, wo man dazu animiert wurde, etwas zu kaufen. Derartige Verkaufsstopps mögen wir gar nicht. Das Abendessen war nicht gut. Negati: Cola musste bezahlt werden, Wein nicht.

Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass unser Guide Fabio sehr fürsorglich war. Er hat dem Ausflug durch seine Erfahrung über den Ätna eine besondere Note gegeben. Der Ausflug war jeden Euro Wert! Es war ein einmaliges Erlebnis!

Eine Tour bei der es sich lohnt. Der Guide Fabio und seine nette Art ist besonders hervorzuheben. Egal ob das Tasting in der Honigfarm, oder das Abenteuer mit den 4x4 Trucks den Etna hoch zu fahren und das abschließende Abendessen. Als Hinweis: Auch im Sommer ist lange Kleidung und eine Jacke Pflicht! Es ist dermaßen kalt und windig dort oben, das wird gerne unterschätzt. Jacken gibts zum Ausleihen für 5€ (Bargeld mitnehmen!) Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!

es war für uns ein einmaliges Erlebnis. Alles gut durchorganisiert und professionell vorbereitet. Sogar Jacken konnten geliehen werden, da es auf 2900 m Höhe doch sehr windig und kühl war. Aber der Ausblick auf den Ätna war einfach gigantisch. Nur für ältere Leute mit Behinderungen ist dies überhaupt nicht geeignet, auch leichte Atembeschwerden nicht!

Kompetenter, fürsorglicher Führer, der seine Liebe zum Ätna uns allen vermittelt hat. Das einzige was fehlte war der Sonnenuntergang. Aber daran kann man nichts ändern. Wir werden uns gerne an diese Tour erinnern.

Der Ausflug ist ein super Erlebnis aber die Wege am Gipfel sind schon sehr anspruchsvoll und es sollte besser darauf hingewiesen werden, dass das keine normale Wanderung von 30 Minuten wird.

Superschön geführte Tour mit einem sehr kompetenten Tourguide und einem zusätzlichmitgeführtem Geologen. Wir konnten tolle Eindrücke und Impressionen mitnehmen. Auch das Abendessen war ein gelungener und schöner Abschluss.

Es war ein unvergessenen Erlebnis. Der überaus freundliche und kompetente Guide Fabio hatte erheblichen Anteil daran. Mit seiner Hilfe bezwangen wir den Krater bei heftigem Wind. Auch der Vulkanologe gab viele Interessante Informationen und wies sicheren Rückweg, so dass man tatsächlich noch die untergehende Sonne sah. Essen super Preis-Leistung mit Begrüssung durch die Söhne des Hauses. Und dass man mit einer kleinen Gruppe fast allein am Berg war, haben wir als grosses Glück empfunden! K&O Bln

Top Guide, Bergführer am Ende war auch toll, hat viel erklärt und erzählt. Essen ebenfalls gut. Man hat auch genug Zeit selbst den Ätna zu erkunden und sollte der Empfehlung nach warmer Kleidung und festem Schuhwerk wirklich nachkommen! Wir konnten uns alle freundlicherweise für 5€ auf 2.500m Jacken ausborgen, die auch gut warm waren.

Wenn man am Ätna ist, sollte man die Gelegenheit nutzen und ihn auch besuchen. Für uns war die Sonnenuntergangs-Tour eines der großen Highlights auf Sizilien! Ein unglaubliches, und gerade oben auf dem Ätna auch etwas surreales Erlebnis. Zum Glück spielte bei unserem Besuch auch die Sicht mit; aber auch ohne Sicht wäre es ein immer noch mehr als lohnenswertes Erlebnis gewesen. Was aber wichtig ist zu wissen, oben ist es auch Ende Juni noch richtig kalt und windig!

Der Ausflug hatte nichts mit Sonnenuntergangsromantik zu tun, sollte eher heißen ‚Ätna - mit dem Unimog durch die Lavafelder‘, (ziehen Sie sich warm an und bleiben Sie standhaft im Wind). Hinweg: tolle Honig-/Olivenölverkostung, später Likör/Schnapsverkostung - für uns die idealen Mitbringsel für zuhause. Der Vulkan zeigte sich dann von der rauhen Seite bei der Unimog-Fahrt. Mehrere Zwischenstops mit kurzen Wanderungen, alle im Nebel! Trotz warmer Kleidung, 2.dicke Jacke für 5 EUR Miete bezahlt.

The tour itself was great, absolutely worth it. The guides were knowledgable and entertaining, the views stunning, the honey tasting a nice touch. However, the pick up was shambles, conflicting information and big bus going to many places instead of bringing people to a central pick up place with few small buses/ cars. The worth was the dinner, did not expect Michelin, but a dry bruschette, pasta al forno with sauce from jar and something resembling schnitzel was really disappointing.

Die Organisation war toll und das Essen sehr gut. Schade nur, dass der Guide nicht deutsch sprach und die Gruppe mit >30 Personen zu groß war. Daher konnte man die Ausführungen nur tws auf Englisch folgen
