We had a brilliant time on the TUI Ancient Ephesus guided tour! It was the perfect half-day trip—seamlessly organized, packed with history, and an absolute must-do experience. A special mention goes to our wonderful TUI rep, Ezra, who made the day truly exceptional. Ezra explained everything clearly, shared great insights, and went above and beyond to help us, even taking fantastic photos for us along the way. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish. While on Ephesus or when making booking we’ve never been told that there is an extra charge for terraced villas when we asked if we can go there and pay additional charge we’ve been told that there is no time which I understand. We ar unlikely to come back so it was a massive miss for us as if we know we would inform tour guide straight away and skip some breaks or end of tour museum which it just artistic vision of Ephesus through history which was for us waste of time.

Wizyta w tak zwanym sklepie gdzie ceny "promocyjne" były kilkukrotne wyższe od cen standardowych poza sklepem oraz błędne informacje od przewodnika który najwyraźniej pobiera prowizję od sprzedaży, uważam za skandaliczną i nigdy nie powinna być elementem tej wycieczki, tym bardziej ze nie było jej w programie. Bardzo dobrym pomysłem jest popołudniowa godzina zwiedzania grobu Maryi oraz Efezu.

Virgin Mary House war extrem touristisch und hat uns nicht sonderlich gefallen. Dagegen war Ephesus eine Offenbarung! Dank des phänomenalen Guides, der alles in perfektem Deutsch erklärt hat und sich der Hitze zum Trotz sehr viel Mühe gegeben hat, die Erläuterungen unterhaltsam und verständlich rüberzubringen! Die abschließende Show im Museum war dann doch eher enttäuschend, da man sich aufgrund der übertrieben Ankündigung zu viel erhofft hatte. Fazit: Top dank Guide

Ali świetnie zaprezentował lokalne produkty, tak aby sprawnie zrobić zakupy. Jestem pod wrażeniem wiedzy i dbania o bezpieczeństwo grupy. Kierowca natomiast świetnie prowadził autobus: plynnie I bezpiecznie.

Atmosfera na miejscu pomimo pogody - nieziemska, a interaktywne muzeum zrobiło tak ogromne wrażenie, że chciałbym zobaczyć wszystko raz jeszcze i jak będzie okazja to na pewno wrócę. Jeżeli udałoby się to z tym samym przewodnikiem, to tylko lepiej, bo odegrał bardzo dużą rolę w pozytywnym odbiorze :)

The tour guide Ezra was amazing, very knowledgeable and made learning about the history of this beautiful place extremely interesting. Only negative was the lack of AC being used on any of the coaches to and from the hotel despite the drivers having AC they both chose not to use it when it was over 30degrees outside

Das Haus der Jungfrau Maria war für uns nur ein enthaltener Bestanteil aber kein Ort den man unbedingt besuchen muss. Ephesos aber war eine wunderbare Erfahrung mit einem sehr kompetenten Guide. Trotz der Hitze haben wir viel über das Leben in der Stadt zu der damaligen Zeit erfahren.

Amazing trip, we were picked up in a mini bus and then met the main coach directly - much better than doing lots of pick-up at various hotels. Are guide was friendly and informative - and spoke very good English. We loved both the Virgin Mary's house and Ephesus. We set-off at 1.30 and arrived back at our hotel just before 8pm - so more like a full day tour than a half day! Exhausting but really good!

The transfer from the Angora Beach to the Tui Blue Ephesus was a bit hairy to say the least but we survived. The actual tours were very illuminating and the English speaking guide, the wonderful Esra, was brilliant and knew her stuff. Overall, this trip is highly recommended. My only gripe was that when I booked it before travelling the Tui website said it was on Tuesdays but when I saw the rep in resort she said it was Monday or Thursday which was confusing . However, it was easily sorted.

Sehr gute Kombination (Haus der Maria & Ephesus). Umsteigen auf Hinweg kostete 30 min. Zeit, schnelle Rückfahrt. Guide Orhan war ausgezeichnet! Überall ausreichend Zeit, auch zum Fotografieren. Die Erläuterungen von Orhan waren wirklich interessant - herzlichen Dank! Fahrer verrichten ihre Arbeit schnell, sicher, korrekt! Schlecht: Zuvor in Deutsch gebuchter Ausflug (9.6.) fand nur auf Polnisch statt. Keine Onlineinfo durch TUI! Örtlich. Reiseleiter macht uns darauf aufmerksam, Danke ihm dafür!

The chapel was a bit of waste unless you are religious..a few of our group were and really appreciated the site. Ephesus itself was amazing. Ezra our guide was so informative and really knew her stuff...she made the trip. It was so interesting. Its a long slow walk through history. The library was stunning and the original marble path and mosaics were beautiful. It would be a trip to do in the morning in summer..I can imagine it would be so hot in the summer as theres no shade.

Duża wiedza z jego strony,nikt na pewno się nie nudził, nawet jadąc autokarem zdobywaliśmy dużą wiedzę,podziwiając piękne widoki. Our guide Esra was exceptional. Her knowledge and willingness to to share and answer questions was a delightful experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the half day trip. However, If this was made into a full day trip, there would be an opportunity to visit the houses, even at extra cost, that are under excavation. Also, a visit to the museum in Selcuk could be factored in, that would complete the Ephesus experience. I would totally recommend Ersa as a guide.

Zunächst einmal vielen Dank an unseren deutschsprachigen Guide Volkan. Er war fachkundig (fast schon euphorisch), freundlich und sehr sympathisch. Hervorzuheben möchte ich noch sein sehr gutes deutsch, so dass er sehr gut zu verstehen war. Wir haben bereits viele Ausgrabungsstätten gesehen aber diese war schon was besonderes. Sollte man gesehen haben. Es sehr voll, da Feiertag, und einige Bereiche waren wegen Bauarbeiten abgesperrt. So z. B. das Amphitheater. Das war ärgerlich.

Beeindruckende Ausgrabungsstätte mit wahren Schätzen! So wird Geschichte erfahrbar. Ein bisschen mehr Zeit hätte ich mir an den einzelnen Stationen gewünscht, um alles besser wirken zu lassen. Orhan, der sympathische Reiseleiter, hat mit dazu beigetragen, dass dieser Ausflug zu einem besonderen Erlebnis wurde. Danke!

Für Geschichtsinteressierte ein absolutes Highlight!! Dazu der sehr gut deutsch sprechende Guide mit seinem enormen Wissen. Ein unvergesslicher Tag!!! Achtung: Es ist nicht immer die ganze Anlage zugänglich. Das grosse Amphitheater z.B. konnten wir wegen Ausgrabungsarbeiten nur von weitem bestaunen. Sehr schade.

Przy rezerwacji wycieczki był obiecany przewodnik polskojęzyczny, wycieczkę przełożyliśmy na inny dzień z powodu dużych opadów deszczu i wówczas nikt nie wspomniał o tym, że przewodnik będzie anglojęzyczny

We booked this excursion with our 2year old child. We were not told that he could not enter the museum (for age 7+), therefore one of us had to miss out on this experience. We were also not told that Ephesus was not suitable with a pushchair, making it very difficult to explore in its entirety along with the guide. Our guide was also 40minutes late to the meeting point. This left us waiting in the heat without shade or somewhere to sit. And delayed dinner that evening by 1hour. Not ideal!

Efez super, przewodnik gonil w samym Efezie zbyt malo czasu na na samodzielne exploroeanie obiektu. Niekoniecznie trafiony przystanek na zakupy w lokalnym sklepiku, kosztem czasu w Efezie. Uwaga do muzeum nie wejdziesz z dziecmi ponizej 7 roku, tego nie powiedza ci przed zakupem wycieczki.

Serwis nie byl wliczony w koszt wycieczki (przy ponad 30st. upale wode organizowalismy we wlasnym zakresie). Pierwszym punktem wycieczki byl sklep z produktami i kosmetykami (choc nie powinno mnie to juz dziwic). Przewodniczka zle przygotowana, jej wiedza nt. trasy po której nas oprowadzala na bardzo srednim poziomie. Na wiele pytan dotyczacych miasta Efez nie umiala odpowiedziec. Wiecej wyczytalismy sami w przewodnikach przed wycieczka. Z uwagi ze sam wstep kosztowal 65 € to ogólna cena OK.

Dla przewodnika wazniejsze niz oprowadzanie po Efezie byly opowiesci o 'galaretkach' loukomi i olejkach do zakupu, nastepnie mozliwosc kupienia czapki i mieszaneklgo soczku z granatu. W Efezie malo czasu, przewodnik byl arogancki, nie bylo czasu na przeczytanie tabliczek ani zadanie pytanie, nic nie bylo szczególowo opowiedziane, po muzeum multimedialnym przewodnik czekal na nas z piwem i papierosem w rece. Po zadaniu pytaniu o Efez, odnjrlnal dwoma slowami. Jestem bardzo rozczarowana za ta cene

The tour guide’s knowledge was amazing and brought to life the history of Ephesus. We think a little longer at the Virgin Mary house would be better as it felt a little rushed through the house (not the fault of the guide). But overall an amazing experience.

Echt een aanrader mooie excursie die je gezien moet hebben. Huis van Maria bijzonder om mee gemaakt te hebben zelfs nog een kaarsje opgestoken. Effes was indrukwekkend vooral de expirions waar verteld wordt over het onstaan van Effes. Hierna loop je door de stad. Alles wordt verteld door Dhoan de gids die prima nederlands spreekt. Dus met een woord een fantastische excursie. 1 kanttekening neem genoeg water mee vooral op een hete dag en dat kan het daar echt worden.

The tour guide and drivers were very good, very enthusiastic, and the place was interesting to see. However the price charged was double what other equally good operators charge. Now I know you will come back with 'quality of staff', 'quality of vehicles' etc etc, however I have taking a trip to Paumukkale with a different operator and their service was equally as good.

Super przewodnik, z duza wiedza i poczuciem humoru. Empatyczny i bardzo pomocny. Wycieczka zdecydowanie za krótka w stosunku do miejsc które odwiedzilismy. Czas 5-6 godzin to minimum moim zdaniem. Cena- czas 3 pkt.

This is a once in a lifetime thing! Mary’s house is very small and doesn’t take much time at all but is a must visit place. So spiritual it felt almost like a pilgrimage. The ruins were also fantastic. So much history and Ezra, the tour guide, really brought the place to life. She is amazing, funny, and so knowledgeable. The whole process was so easy too we were picked up right outside our hotel and dropped back again. Probably the highlight of our holiday.

L'expérience a été plus que décevante. Nous avions réservé l'excursion en français et nous avons eu un guide allemand sans en être averti au préalable. L'expérience a non seulement été décevante sur le plan culturel à cause de la barrière de la langue mais aussi sur le plan financier. Je suis sidéré du manque de considération qu'ils ont vis à vis de leurs clients!

Wycieczka w duzym pospiechu, pierwszy przystanek na zakupy to duza strata czasu. Przewodnik pieknie mówil po polsku, niestety byl bardzo niemily. Za ledwie 5 minut spóznienia do autobusu (kolejka w toalecie) glosno komentowal w niemily sposób i kazal przepraszac innych pasazerów. Bylo to mocno ponizajace. Wycieczka absolutnie nie warta wydanych przeszlo 2tys zlotych.

Esra the guide was great, very knowledgeable and friendly. The part at House of Virgin Mary was too long, stayed 1 hr but 30-40 mins would have been plenty, and more time at Ephesus would have been better. The trip was advertised as 2-4 hrs duration but was actually 6.5 hrs from pick up to drop off. We were told times are approximated but that is a big difference. On the way there we were in a minibus which was good. But on the way back there were 4 adults put in a car/taxi, it was very cramped!

Excursion demandée en français , mais que l anglais dispo le jour j . Visite du musée catastrophique et donc visite générale impactée . Le musée est interdit au moins de 7 ans ( nous avons un bébé ) résultat , ma compagne a fait la visite après tout le monde . Cet interdit n’est pas indiqué lors de l inscription . Ensuite on a du r attraper le groupe . Pas d explication sur les toilettes et la bibliothèque. De façon général c’est une visite en mode speed .

We loved this tour. Bring water, wear runners and bring cash for souvenirs and to light candles etc. all of this advice was given to us before the tour.

It was extremely expensive! Seven of us cost over £500. The coach was very hot and uncomfortable especially for a baby. Our guide was excellent; approachable, knowledgeable and friendly. We particularly enjoyed Ephesus and could easily have spent a lot longer there.
