What to expect
San Pantaleo is known for its low-key rustic charm, with narrow streets and stone buildings that give it a traditional and authentic feel. The village square is the heart of San Pantaleo, and it is here that visitors can browse the small shops run by local artisans, selling traditional and unique handicrafts and Sardinian produce.In total contrast, Costa Smeralda is a sleek destination with Porto Cervo at its luxurious heart. Take a guided tour to see its marina packed with millionaire yachts and maybe mingle with the jet set. Soak up all the glamour from one of the pavement-side cafes, or in the designer shops and high-end boutiques.The last stop is Baia Sardinia, a glorious beach where you can enjoy some free time to relax, swim, or take a break in a beach bar. Great relaxing holiday, all staff were friendly and would do their best to help you. Though the location was a little bit remote and would benefit with a shuttle bus to nearby marina and town (they are walkable and a local bus can be caught) we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend staying here in a peaceful setting.

We felt it was a bit rushed visiting 3 different places in such a short space of time. Would of preferred longer if only did the 2 stops. The market was a beautiful stop but needed longer. Maybe not worry about beach time and have more time split between Costa emeralda and market. Guide was informative but unfortusnetly the walkie talkie did non work.

There is a fair amount of walking in 30+ degrees involved in this excursion, which can make it a bit of a slog for the older person. Personally we would reduce the time spent in Porto Cervo and add that time to Costa Smerelda. As by the time you have eaten there is not much time left for swimming, which you have to do. As the sea is so tempting.

Arrived at village before shops open. Could have had breakfast at resort if left and hour later when shops opening. Also tour on a Monday the market is on a Thursday. Very poor logistical planning I could get 5 year olds too do better. The. Expensive Porto chevo only great for people who think yachts are great and an expensive location to shop. The beach at the end most interesting.overall with out the guides clear passion for the island this is a tour to miss.

We arrived at San Pantaleo before 9am when most of the shops are closed and don’t open for at least another hour. We were told to stay there for over an hour even though there was nothing to do. We then went to Porto Cervo where we stayed less than hour because we spent half an hour counting people and getting to the town centre. We were told the wrong meeting point, it’s lucky we managed to find it. Last stop was nice but no point in going to a beach without free facilities so it’s just messy

I enjoyed the first stop at San Pantaleo, I would have been happy to stay there a little longer. I wasn't as interested in the second stop Porto Cervo but loved the beach at Baia Sardinia. The coach driver also took us to a view point at Baia Sardinia which was really great.

1st stop was lovely, but not all shops were open so honestly not much to do once we’d seen the views. 2nd stop Porto Veco - weird little place, had too much time there, again - nothing much to do as no one wanted to actually go in the shops, so bought another drink in a cafe. Stop 3 - Port de Sardegne, lovely restaurant, pretty beach but had to pay for sunloungers (which wasn’t worth it for the time available) - again many shops shut as lunchtime. Glad we went, bit disappointing overall.

Guide and driver were very good. Felt that the tour was very poor the first village we visited had very little open as it was very early when we arrived there. Porto Carvo had very little to offer the average tourist. The bus we had probably quite dated with almost obsolete air conditioning. I would have expected on a tour such as this which includes quite a bit of walking and the temperature we would have been offered at least a bottle of water . Definitely not value for money.

Arrived at the first town too early and most shops & gallery shut. Had to walk uphill on the road to get to the town. Porto Cervo is overdeveloped, full of expensive shops, expensive restaurants and (supposedly) some wealthy visitors. Horrible. Baja Sardinia is quite nice and has several good restaurants and some shops. The rep did not explain that this trip was not suitable for my wife, who walks with a stick and had it when we booked! She struggled throughout.

When organising this trip we enquired whether it included much walking, particularly steps or hills or at speed.. Due to health conditions I find both of these difficult particularly if I have to go very fast to keep up with the guide. Strolling is more my style now. The rep said i would be fine and the guide would fit in with me. The guide was fine but it was very hilly and contained about what seemed like a 1000 steps/stairs. I was unable to complete some sections and missed the last stop

Die ganze Reise war super geplant. Wir sind mit den Landfrauen gereist und waren alle sehr zufrieden. Die kleinen Bungalows für 2 Personen mit der kleinen Terrasse waren super sauber, die ganze Anlage war sehr gepflegt. Beim Büfett war für jeden etwas dabei. Ein langer Spaziergang am Wasser und im Wald mit unterschiedlichen Sportgeräten ist der Hit. Sardinien ist eine wunderschöne Insel.

The market at SanPantaleo was amazing, good selection of products, and fashion. The addition of the stop at Baia Sardinia was really good. Had an amazing pizza lunch at a Restaurant on the main promenade. Fantastic value, and freshly prepared. Also had an ice cream from a shop close to the restaurant, absolutely delicious, amarena with real cherries, and my wife had pistachio.Also went for a walk on the coastal path near the Hotel Club Casablanca, beautiful views of the coastline, and bay.

This experience was a total waste of time and money. We were expecting, as sold by the TUI rep, a tour that showed and explored some historical experiences and sites of the island. In essence, we were dumped off at 3 shopping centres and then left to our own devices for 2 hours at each drop off. Worst TUI day out experience we’ve been on!!

coach was a shabby broken chairs no toilet, 40 min at first stop but had to walk 10 mins each way to get to market so no time !! 2nd stop loads of steps and walking involved which was not told about . 3rd stop 2 guess were 45 mins late so we were sitting on a hot coach !!! then on the way back we had to stop at a petrol station got 20 min while the driver had a break , with this 2 female passengers got off the coach and probably to smoke cigarettes beside the coach next to the petrol pumps

Porto Cervo besteht nur aus Luxus-Läden und ist unserer Meinung nach nicht sehenswert. San Pantaleo ist zwar hübsch, aber auch sehr touristisch und hat mit einem urtümlichen Künstlerdorf nicht mehr viel zu tun.

Not enough time at each stop , everyone was saying g they wanted more than 30 mins at the first stop as there was a market but didn’t get time to look properly. Porto cervo wasn’t impressed at all . And then we were promised more time for lunch and beach time at last stop but was only given 1 1/2 hours . Definitely not worth the money

The hotel was out of this world, in my opinion total paradise!! If I had to point a few things it would be that the water needs to be looked out as we had to shower in brown water which wasn’t pleasant but didn't put us off, also at breakfast they need to get the fried eggs out with a better system and to cook the whites a bit longer as the tops were always clear still. Knives and forks need to be readily available, there were many days we were hunting for them. We had an amazing break tho ??

The tour guide was great, made the tour entertaining. his knowledge was amazing. Only issue was the driver being unhappy abiut being asked to stop at a pull in to give us chance to see beautiful scenery. although I can't speak Italian his gestures /tone where obviously showing anger . We were ahead of time . The driver had actually turned up late at the start of the tour and we got back before 3pm so didn't impede on his time

some complaints: 1) The guide Antonello was great in the whole but about four or five times during the tour his mobile rang while he was speaking and he turned his mic off and then answered the call leaving us hanging. 2) The coach was nearly twenty minutes late when we had set our alarms to wake us up on holiday so that we would be ready for a 0720 pickup that never happened 3) The coach was SWELTERING on our return journey, please find a coach with fully functioning air con and use it.

Im Bus waren es gefühlt 35 grad, Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht vernünftig, die Zeit an den einzelnen Orten viel zu knapp, morgens hat man über 30 Minuten Verzögerung, da der Bus 30 Minuten Verspätung hatte, dementsprechend hatte man wenig Zeit an den drei Orten. Rückfahrt hat über 2 Stunden gedauert, meistens hat der Guide Englisch gesprochen. Lieber mit Mietfahrzeug fahren!

The tour was very rushed. It was a lovely place to visit but the time allocated was quite short and the distances to walk were quite challenging in the heat. He explained well but the radios were crackly and it was difficult to hear what he was saying. The earpiece was rough and hurt my ear,

Totally unnecessary to start tour at 7.20am as we didn't have time to enjoy a proper breakfast, which starts at 7.00. We arrived at the first stop at 8.45am and had 45 minutes to look around and therefore had to leave at 9.30am, exactly at the time when the shops started to open, so we were unable to buy anything! Most people on the trip thought this was crazy. If the tour had started 30 minutes later we would have had time to shop. However, the guide and the coach driver were very good.
