What to expect
The Zipaquirá Salt Cathedral is a marvel of engineering and architecture located a few kilometers from Bogotá. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the cathedral is located 180 meters underground in a salt mine that has been exploited since 1801.This tour will take you through underground tunnels carved into the rock salt, you will be able to admire an impressive work of religious art, rove around at your own pace with an audio guide available in more than 5 languages and with the possibility of making a stop in the town of Zipaquirá to learn a little more about the environment surrounding the mine.
