What to expect
Scuba diving and snorkeling are not the only ways to explore the sea. Have you ever tried to take a walk underneath the sea? Don't miss your chance to enjoy being on the ocean floor, wearing a helmet to let you breathe while you will be exploring the marine life and the marvelous corals that are housed there. It is a 20-minute walk guided by experienced staff. You will be immersed in a crystal clear lagoon, at about 3 to 4 meters deep.

What to remember
There are two options available either book the activity only (recommended for customers staying on the east coast) or book the tour with transfer (for all other coasts)
The Tour With Transfer option requires a minimum of 2 adults
Please confirm your pick-up place (if booked with transfer) or activity time (if booked without transfer) directly with the local operator at least 48 hours prior to departure
No kids under 6 years old are allowed
The Undersea Walk is a 20 minute activity
Please bring sun cream, swimwear, spare clothes & towel

It was very well organised excursion and very safe to do. Highly recommend. One of the best activity we have done in Mauritius. Bilal and his colleagues were so accommodating, kind and helpful. They went over and Beyond to ensure we have the best time ever!

The experience was mind blowing it brought tears to our eyes the only downfall was the transfer was very expensive at just short of £100 for the two of us & it was only a 20 minute transfer rather steep 😢

Einzigartiges Erlebnis, zusammen mit bunten Fischen Unterwasser zu laufen. Man wurde gut durch den Guide vor Ort betreut, er hat sich sehr viel Zeit genommen alles zu erklären.

The guide picked us up from our hotel and was very friendly. We were in a group and he made sure we all understood the comprehensive safety talk before we got in the boat to take us to where we were doing the walk. Any and all apprehension was very kindly addressed and the instructors went out of their way to make everyone feel at ease. All in all a superb experience and one I would 100% recommend.

The staff were very friendly and reassuring about the under water walking and the way the helmet worked. What we didn't enjoy was the taxi driver who's driving was very dangerous, he was getting very close to the car infront, driving at speed, overtaking lorries on blind bends and was holding his mobile phone and chatting while all this was going on we were so glad to get back to our hotel in one piece! Not looking forward to our next trip if this is the standard of driving

Absolutely brilliant experience! It was so interesting to actually be down with the fish and really getting to see them up close. The guide was really lovely and gave a good explanation before we set off. They do take photos/videos of you on a GoPro but receiving these comes at an extra cost.

Great fun with an impressive driver who collected us back and forth from the hotel. Throughly recommend this trip to walk on the sea bed and see the impressive fish.

The whole experience was amazing, our guide Bil was brilliant, he gave us every bit of information needed and put us at our ease, he stayed with us and took photos to remember our day, if there’s one thing you should do in Mauritius, this would be it, we can’t recommend it highly enough 100%

We had our own transfer taxi driver which was great. He was very knowledgeable with the local area and very polite and curtious. Whilst the drive from our resort was a little long it wasn't uncomfortable and we felt safe. The event itself was memorable and one of lifes truly remarkable experiences. Bil the coordinator further helped to round off a good experience by settling us in to the event. A must is purchasing the photos and video the team take

This was amazing! I would do it again in a heartbeat. I felt so safe, everything was very clearly explained and you had someone with you the whole time. Bil our guide was very nice. There is an opportunity to buy the pictures and videos they take. We did because it was so nice to relive the moment. It one of those once in a life time things, the fish swim right up to you! So do it!

The experience of walking and feeding the tropical fish under the water was amazing. Bilal who was our guide is a key factor in this as his Information which was delivered with a professional/friendly attitude reassured my wife who was a bit apprehensive, but Bilal explained everything and she did it and said it was one of the most amazing things she had done. So Thanks Bilal you were the best Hist/Guide 10/10.

Poor communication from booking, the number given to call about pick up didn’t work and when we did receive details of the pick up it was from the boat house at our hotel. No one the boat house knew about the booking, however eventually someone turned up from lower down the beach and we ended up on the same experience as the one running 50 yards from our hotel at twice the cost! Experience was amazing but details not clear, no transfer involved so no idea why we paid so much more money with TUI.

Was a great experience but felt like it was a little expensive for what it was. Double the length of time underwater would be perfect. Can’t have any real complaints though and got some great pictures(which are EXPENSIVE) Although this was probably the least slick of all the experiences we did, I’d definitely recommend you try this… it’s pretty cool and very different. The main guide was also very friendly and helpful.

Great team running this experience. Seemed to be over really quickly but still good fun. My partner enjoyed it alot as she'd never dived before so this was great for her. You are only about 1 meter from ten surface so nice and safe and loads of dish there waiting to be fed. Good fun and worth while.

The private taxi driver and his vehicle were immaculate. He was very friendly. Then we arrived at our destination and were met buy a extremely friendly guy called Bilall. He made us feel welcome and at ease from the off set. The experience of walking under the sea was amazing! Definitely would recommend this ????

What a fantastic experience! We were well looked after and the team took time to explain what was going to happen to allay any nerves and gave us plenty of tips and hints to ensure we enjoyed our walking under the sea experience. Only criticism- would have loved for it to have lasted longer! If you only do one thing in Mauritius - do this!

This was a fantastic experience made even better by the team running it on site. They gave a full and detailed explanation about how the equipment worked and what to expect with pressure etc and really put us at ease. The photos taken were good value and sent via We Transfer the same day. Would highly recommend

We loved this trip, all staff were very nice and the underwater walk was cool. Saw a lot of fish (not a lot of different types though) and they do get up close and personal. Only gripe would be the cost of photos 1200 Mauritian which I think is over £20 GBP. Also we had about a 40 minute wait for a taxi back to our hotel afterwards which could have been avoided.

It was a really lovely experience. We managed to purchase it when TUI did a promotion and had 40% off. I don’t think I would have paid the full price. We weren’t down for very long. I can’t help but share my concerns about the damage that is being done to the coral reef. In the spot that we were walking it was absolutely decimated.
