What to expect
Enjoy a guided tour of the Colosseum, the undisputed example of ancient Romans' architectural mastery, testimony to the glorious past of the city and one of the 7 wonders of the modern world! Your expert guide will tell you all you need to know about the history and structure of this imposing amphitheatre, about its importance and the games and gladiators' fights that took place in it. After the tour, you'll have free time to visit the area, before embarking upon the second part of the experience.Palatine Hill is one of the seven hills of the Eternal City, the one where Romulus, the first king of Rome, chose to found his city back in 753 BC. You'll admire the ruins of several Roman palaces as well as stunning views across the city. Lastly, reach the Roman Forum, where you'll discover what life was like for the Romans of that era and learn about this place, considered the political, social and economic center of the city. Once the tour is over, you can remain inside and continue visiting on your own.

Please be aware that the admission fee for the Colosseum Archaeological Area is €18 for adults, while children under 18 years of age receive complimentary entry. The rest of the guided tour fee encompasses various services, including the expertise of a professional licensed guide, provision of radio guides (if necessary), customer support, reservation fees, and other related amenities
Know in advance:
Reduced-price entries (Child 0-17) can only be purchased alongside a standard-price entry
The Venue requires to provide the name and surname of each visitor; this information is mandatory for booking and entry to the Colosseum and the Archaeological Area of the Roman Forum. If this requirement isn't met, it will not be possible to enter the venue
The name provided during booking is final and cannot be changed as per Colosseum rules. To enter, each participant must present an identity document matching the booking name
The provider is not responsible for any inconvenience caused by the closure of the Colosseum and Roman Forum because of strikes, union meetings or bad weather
In accordance with the ticket sales terms and conditions, visitors are not liable for any presale fee
Please review the Visitor Regulations on the official Colosseum website and ensure you accept and follow its guidelines
This tour has a maximum of 24 participants
Only small bags are allowed inside the Colosseum
The tour will either start with the Colosseum or the Roman Forum/Palatine Hill, based on the access time the local operator was able to purchase
Not allowed:
Scissors, pocket knives, aerosols and liquids, even if less than 100ml (except for water)
Remember to bring:
Comfortable walking shoes, a bottle of water and a jacket or umbrella if rain is forecasted

Our tour guide, Michela, was delightful. Her knowledge and happy attitude made the experience an absolute pleasure. Whilst you could just walk around the ruins at your own pace, I would thoroughly recommend going with a tour guide as they are able to offer explanations and colour to many of the sights around the Colosseum, Palatine hill and Forum that you would probably not find out on your own. Well worth it!

Very well organised, kept us up to date with arrangements so we knew excavation where and when we needed to meet.
Our guide Zohu extremely knowledgeable about the collesium and included whole group with her questions.
I would definitely use this company again for any tours I may do in the future.
