Enjoy a guided tour of the Colosseum, the undisputed example of ancient Romans' architectural mastery, testimony to the glorious past of the city and one of the 7 wonders of the modern world! Your expert guide will tell you all you need to know about the history and structure of this imposing amphitheatre, about its importance and the games and gladiators' fights that took place in it. After the tour, you'll have free time to visit the area, before embarking upon the second part of the experience.Palatine Hill is one of the seven hills of the Eternal City, the one where Romulus, the first king of Rome, chose to found his city back in 753 BC. You'll admire the ruins of several Roman palaces as well as stunning views across the city. Lastly, reach the Roman Forum, where you'll discover what life was like for the Romans of that era and learn about this place, considered the political, social and economic center of the city. Once the tour is over, you can remain inside and continue visiting on your own.
