There are so many types of desert – salt, sand and pebble – in the Tunisian Sahara that you'll need two days to discover them. This action-packed tour takes you to Chott Jerid, Onk Jemal and Douz. Plus, you'll explore Tozeur medina – and cinema buffs won't want to miss a visit to Matmata and Sidi Driss.Kick off day one at El Hamma market before heading to Chott Jerid, the Sahara's largest salt lake. Next, it's on to the city of palm trees, Tozeur, for lunch and check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon, rally through rugged landscapes on a 4x4 through the mountainous Onk Jemal. Here, you'll explore a film set city built exclusively for Star Wars. Rise and shine. We're off to check out the sandy desert of Douz, also known as the ‘Gateway to the Sahara'. After lunch, we'll stop off at the pebble desert of Erg en route to the lunar landscapes of Matmata and Sidi Driss – the famous filming locations of Star Wars. The trip comes to an end back in Djerba.

Consider changing the marketing name of this experience to: Tunisian Sahara three deserts and oasis tour with hotel overnight. Currently trip name makes guests expect an overnight in oasis under a tent. The wake up at 3 am and departure at 4 am from the hotel in Tozeur is painful. I believe the desert sunset is enough, no need for desert sunrise experience.

Wir - 2 erwachsene Teilnehmer - mussten die gesamte RR (ca. 800 km) auf den Notsitzen der 3. Sitzreihe durchführen - eine Zumutung, kein Fahrzeug mit vollwertigen Sitzen zur Verfügung zu stellen!!! Die Sauberkeit des Hotels der Zwischenübernachtung war eine Katastrophe.

Niestety opis wycieczki. Brak informacji, iz podróz trwa ok 6 gadzin. Poza tym wycieczka warta swojej ceny. Super przewodnik i organizacja w trakcie jej trwania. Pomimo bardzo wysokiej temperatury wycieczka dobrze zaplanowana, przez co upaly nie doskwieraly zbyt mocno. Bardzo polecam.

Spannende Mini-Rundreise durch Tunesien. Toll war, dass wir nur 7 Personen waren. Wir haben einige Highlights gesehen und es hat Spaß gemacht. Allerdings sind die Fahrtstrecken sehr lang. An Tag 1 haben wir ca 7 Stunden bis zum Hotel benötigt, Stopp gab es bis dorthin nur kurz an der Salzwüste. Im Hotel angekommen fährt man nochmals 1 Stunde mit dem Jeep zu 2 hübschen Oasen. An Tag 2 ist mehr geboten uns es gibt auf der langen Strecke zurück mehrere interessante Stopps.
