You'll need to bring your passport or ID card to cross the checkpoint into the northern part of Cyprus
If you're travelling as a single parent, or without one of the child's parents, you'll need a bit of extra paperwork for anyone under 18. This usually includes a ‘letter of authorisation' from the parent who isn't travelling, plus supporting documents like the child's birth certificate, a copy of the absent parent's passport, or a court order. Templates are easy to find online, but it's a good idea to check with a lawyer before you travel
