What to remember
Know in advance:
For the" Entrance Ticket" option, please note that your voucher is not the entrance ticket. The local provider's representative will meet you at the GEM Entrance Gate and hand over your entrance ticket there
Entrance ticket option: your entrance ticket is valid for one day from the opening hours until the closing hours. The GEM operates daily from 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM. During the holy month of Ramadan, the GEM adjusts its hours, closing at 04:00 PM
Round-trip private transfer option: duration includes the round-trip private transfer and the GEM visit is 4 hours, starting from your hotel pick-up until your hotel drop-off, considering 1 extra hour due to unexpected traffic jam. Using the car for additional services or extra time will be charged in cash on the spot
Half-day guided tour option: this option is a shared tour that includes hotel pick-up and drop-off, a certified Egyptologist and GEM entrance tickets
There is a minimum of 2 adults to book the options: Round-trip private transfer and Half-day guided tour
Please remember
Infants under 2 years old can join free of charge, provided they sit on their parents' laps if no seats are available in the vehicle

Der Führer war exzellent. 15 von 10 Punkten. Es war für unsere Gruppe auch schön dass wir den gleichen Führer für die folgende Tour hatten. Leider war das Museum nur teilweise geöffnet. Der größte Teil war geschlossen. Aber es hat sich dennoch gelohnt

Gebucht waren Eintrittskarten und Führung im neuen ägyptischem Museum. Angekündigt wurde, dass sich eine Person des Kartenanbieters am Tag vorher per E-Mail meldet. Auch wurde angezeigt, dass eine Abholung im Hotel erfolgen würde. Es kam keine Mitteilungen auch am nächsten Morgen bis 1 Stunde vor Museums Beginn erfolgte nichts. Auch vor dem Museum im Eingangsbereich war kein Vertreter des Kartenanbieters. Erst nach langem, vergeblichen Suchen Erfolg. Von einer Führung keine Spur. I

Es hat einfach fast alles gepaßt. Anreise, Unterbringung, Eintrittskarten im Voraus, alles prima. Der einzige Haken war das nicht funktionieren des online-Eincheckens für die Flüge. Das lag allerdings im Verantwortungsbereich der Fluggesellschaft (Egypt Air). TUI hat wunderbar geholfen und es hat dann doch funktioniert (Hinflug). Den Rückflug haben wir am Flughafen vor Ort eingecheckt. Alles in Allem: Ein schöner Kurzurlaub, beide Daumen hoch!!!

Leider wurden wir am Flughafen erst nach einem längeren Telefonat eines fremden Mannes von unserem Taxi (das von TUI vorab bestellt wurde) nach einer Stunde abgeholt. Das Taxi am 30.1.26 zum Flughafen kam pünktlich um 10 Uhr

GEM is zeker de moeite waard! Echt een aanrader. Wij hebben het museum op eigen gelegenheid zonder gids bezocht. We hadden ons vooraf goed ingelezen en vonden het heerlijk om op ons eigen tempo rond te lopen. De tickets heeft TUI uitbesteed aan een lokale reisagent. Het was onduidelijk waarom de tickets niet vooraf gewoon opgestuurd werden. We hadden een timeslot om 10.00 uur maar kregen de tickets pas 1 uur van tevoren ondanks verzoek om het eerder toe te sturen. Dit gaf wel wat stress

Wir waren begeistert ! Wir hatten eine Abholung vom Hotel und eine private Fuehrung gebucht und waren begeistert ! Dem Tourguide konnten wir Löcher in den Bauch fragen und haben soviel ueber das Alte Ägypten gelernt weil er alles detailliert und durch Wissen erklären konnte. Die Ausstellung war sowas von Sehenswert und ich muss sagen kein anderes Museum kann das uebertreffen!!!
