Get your skip-the-line tickets to access the Musée de la Romanité in Nîmes and experience a full immersion into antiquity at the heart of the town known as "French Rome".This huge 9,200m2 archaeological museum, which faces the Arènes, invites you to enjoy a unique experience as you travel back in time through the history of Nîmes, from the 7th century BC to the Middle Ages, through a highly innovative museography and immersive scenography (augmented reality, monumental audiovisual technologies, etc.).Benefiting from contemporary architecture and the latest technological innovations, the venue has a panoramic restaurant, an archaeological garden and an open-air rooftop offering a breathtaking 360° view of Nîmes and its finest Roman jewels.

Pour nous, (88-73 ans),les Gaulois avaient été colonisés par les Romains il y a environ 2000 ans et défaits à Alésia.
Ce que cette exposition nous a appris c’est que cette colonisation n’a pas été aussi dramatique puisque les Romains ont su élever les Gaulois les plus billants dans la société !

No es muy habitual que el contenido y el continente estén tan equilibrados y se potencian el uno al otro como en este caso. La colección de Romaneidad de Nimes se complementa perfectamente con el espléndido diseño arquitectónico ideado por Norman Foster.

La visite des différentes salles du musée que nous connaissions et nous le faisons découvrir à notre petit fils . A l'arrivée nous avons avons été accueilli par un agent de surveillance qui nous a bien indiqué le sens de la visite. En plus des autres visites nous avons découvert d'autres salles.

On a passé une excellente après-midi en découvrant les trésors archéologiques. Les explications et les visuels sont très bien faits. L'animation du groupe de danseurs et le concert sur la terrasse ont apporté une note différente que nous avons bien apprécié en particulier ma petite fille.
