What to expect
Eastern Crete is awash with golden beaches, timeless villages and Medieval monasteries. Explore all of the east's knockout spots with this exciting tour. Highlights include the villages of Lithines and Sitia, Toplou Monastery and Europe's largest palm tree forest.Kick off with a stroll along the pretty streets in the whitewashed village of Lithines, complete with dinky chapels and churches. Next, head to Sitia on the north coast. You can opt to visit Kazama castle, the folklore or the Archaeological Museum, or just enjoy a leisurely coffee and take in the local atmosphere.You'll stop at the heavily fortified Toplou Monastery next. Stroll around and take some photos of this history-steeped 15th century retreat. We'll top off the day at the white-sand Vai beach, which is fringed by 5,000 palm trees. Take a dip or snorkel in the clear, turquoise waters. Or, if you'd prefer, you can visit a local taverna before heading back to your hotel.

Jak ktoś nie zabierze ze sobą ręcznika na plażę Vai to w czasie tych dwóch godzin pobytu tam jeśli chce tylko posiedzieć na plaży a nie wchodzić do wody ma problem bo albo musi wynająć płatny leżak albo siedzieć na rozgrzanym piasku.Fajnie by było aby uprzedzać roztargnionych wakacyjnym życiem aby zabrali coś do siedzenia na plaży.

Za dużo punktów wycieczki za mało czasu. Wystarczyłoby miasto Sitiai plaża Vai. Poza tym - wycieczka we wtorek, a atrakcje wymienione w TUI, takie jak forteca w Sitii i Muzeum Archeologii we wtorek są zamknięte.

Ogólnie wycieczka ok. Piękne widoki na góry i morze, spacer po wiosce też fajny, klasztor wart zobaczenia. Może należałoby trochę dopracować atrakcje w Sitii (np nie urządzać wycieczki we wtorek, gdy muzea są zamknięte) bo w czasie wolnym, przez 1,5 h nie za bardzo jest co robić w porcie. Plaża Vai - dużo ludzi, leżaki jeden koło drugiego (płatne), bardzo średnio. Te 2 h wolne można przeznaczyć na obiad w tawernie i krótką kąpiel w morzu, ale żeby za to placic, no nie wiem.

abwechslungsreiche Tour im klimatisierten Bus zum Teil etwas eng getaktet. Tourleiterin Tanja hat ihre Sache sehr gut gemacht und aufgrund ihrer Jahre auf der Insel weiß sie viel über Land und Leute zu berichten. Sitia ist eine schöne kleine Hafenstadt mit der Möglichkeit einen Kaffee zu trinken und die Stadt zu erkunden. Der Markt ist auf einem überschaubarer Platz mit nicht all zu vielen Ständen, eher zu vernachlässigen. Palmenstrand Vai absolut sehenswert, leider etwas überlaufen

Rezydent p. Mateusz 10/10. Bardzo ciekawie opowiadał o Krecie. O jej mieszkańcach, obyczajach i o historii tej wyspy. Bardzo wyczerpująco i ciekawie mówił o miejscach w których byliśmy. Przesympatyczny i bardzo pomocny.

Podobała nam się ciekawie przedstawiona przez Pana Mateusza historia zwiedzanego rejonu, piękne gaje oliwne, pokazanie stylu życia i kultury mieszkańców wiosek. Zobaczyliśmy las palmowy i piękne widoki rozpostarte nad plażą Vai. Mieliśmy również możliwość degustacji lokalnych produktów jak miód, oliwa czy też wino i raki.

Vom Palmenstrand waren wir schon enttäuscht. Wir hatten uns etwas anderes darunter vorgestellt. Das alle Palmen eingezäunt waren, wurde uns vorher nicht gesagt. Die Besichtigung des Dorfes war sehr interessant.

Pünktliche Abholung am Hotel, sehr guter Busfahrer, sehr gute Reiseführerin. Man hat viele Eindrücke bekommen und erlebt. Diese Tour war auch für meine Kinder (9, 10 Jahre) gut zu meistern. Der Palmenstrand war ein absoluter Höhepunkt. Toll, dass man dort Zeit hatte, auch baden zu gehen.

Die Fahrt und die Reiseleitung war super. Die Aufenthalte waren teilweise recht kurz und der Vai Beach war gut aber jetzt nicht das überragende Erlebnis. Hier muss man sagen das unser Strand in Makrigialos besser war.

Bardzo kompetentna i mila pani przewodnik, sprawny kierowca autokaru. Plaza Vai okazala sie jednak nieco rozczarowujaca- las palmowy jest caly za ogrodzeniem. Wioska, klasztor mnichów- urokliwe, mozna zrobic ladne zdjecia.

W cenie wycieczki powinno byc zwiedzanie chociaz zbrojownii. Ilosc czasu na plazy Vai tez za mala. Brak informacji ze wszystko jest dodatkowo platne, w cenie tylko transport i przewodnik. Alternatywna firma ma w cenie 60 euro równiez lunch w tavernie. Wycieczka za droga jak na to co oferuje.

Schöner Ausflug mit ausgezeichneter Reiseleitung. Wir haben viel über Kreta erfahren. Alles in allem könnte man den Ausflug vielleicht um eine Stunde verlängern dann hätte man in Kloster und am Strand etwas mehr Zeit.

Wir hatten im Bus einen Sitzplatz ohne Bein Freiheit, wir sind nur 170 cm groß aber die Beine passten nicht. Somit habe ich seitlich zum Mittelgang gesessen.

Bardzo fajna wycieczka. Kompetentna i mila Pani przewodniczka P. Agnieszka. Mala wioska bardzo urokliwa, zwiedIlismy klasztor, i miasto Sitia oraz Vai Beach. Jedyne co nas rozczarowalo,ze ta przepiekna plaza jest taka skomercajlizowana. Myslelismy ze bedzie bardziej "dziewicza"- bo pod ochrona. Ale ogolnie piekne miejsce. Ogolnie wycieczke polecamy. Z hotelu Atlantica Mikri Poli blisko i sprawnie. Dobra wycieczka dla dzieci (wiek 7 i 4) :) dzieci zadowolone :) rodzice tez :)

Gut getimter Ausflug mit kompetenter und sympathischer Reiseleitung. Die Ziele und Zeiten waren gut gewählt, um die kretische Kultur näher kennenzulernen. Ohne Verpflegung und Eintritte stehen 60€ allerding in keinem Verhältnis zum Angebot. Hier würde ich maximal 30€ als angemessen empfinden.

Es war ein toller Ausflug :-) Wir haben sehr viel über die Menschen, die Geschichte und das Leben auf Kreta erfahren. Die Fahrt durch die Berge und entlang der Küste war toll. Wir hätten uns mehr Zeit in der schönen Stadt Sitia gewünscht. Dafür hätten wir den Klosterbesuch nicht unbedingt gebraucht. Zumal es sehr klein ist und man nicht wirklich viel davon sieht. Der Palmenstrand ist absolut sehenswert. Leider sind mittags (wir waren erst 13 Uhr da) schon alle Liegen und Schattenplätze belegt.
