Explore Stockholm by kayak in this self-guided tour which will show you the city from a different perspective. Stockholm is known as “The Venice of the North” due to its location across 14 islands which are linked by 57 bridges, so exploring by kayak is a great way to see the city.At the beginning of your adventure you'll be provided with a brief introduction on kayaking and you'll receive all the equipment you need including kayaks, light paddles, life vests and a detailed map of the local area.Before you head off, you will receive local tips and insider knowledge to make this experience easier and more enjoyable. Now that you have the how, the where and the equipment, all you need is enthusiasm!

What to remember

Know in advance:

Please make sure to arrive 10 minutes before the tour starts

You will be asked to sign a digital waiver in which you are aware that you will be responsible for the equipment during your activity

You need to know how to swim to do this activity

You will be able to choose from single kayaks and double kayaks

Children and youths must be accompanied by an adult

Maximum weight to participate: 130kg

There are no toilets at the kayak dock, the meeting point for your activity, but you are welcome to go to the supplier's main location (Kungsbro Strand 21) during office hours to use the toilet

Remember to bring:

Wear waterproof clothing, warm clothing if it’s windy, a hat, sunscreen and sunglasses

You must bring a photo ID with you when picking up the equipment
