This catamaran cruise is all neverending vistas, rum punches and new perspectives. Sail to the sounds of reggae beats, and you'll cruise along the coast of Negril, all the way to Rick's Café. At Jamaica's coolest hangout, you'll watch cliff divers plunge into the sea and, if you are lucky, a blazing Caribbean sunset on the water.Hop aboard the catamaran at Seven Mile Beach – it's been voted one of the top beaches in the world – and cruise down the Negril coastline, admiring every inch of Jamaica's beauty. Rum punch in hand, enjoy the lilt of the boat over the waves and the sounds of sweet reggae beats. Drop anchor nearby to do some snorkelling, then back on board, we sail on.We'll come ashore near Rick's Café – a clifftop bar that's a hit with locals and tourists alike, it's been an island institution since the 70s. Enjoy one of their speciality cocktails here or stay on board to watch the cliff jumpers fearlessly hurl themselves into the water. Crew worked very much as a team, were extremely helpful & conscientious regarding safety in getting on & off sailing vessels. They were friendly & courteous & made it a fun atmosphere. Lovely long stop for snorkelling, even though I couldn’t partake in it, opportunity to sit on edge & dangle feet in water & see some of the sea life. Great to be on the sea most of afternoon. Short bus ride to & fro catamaran. Bus stopped for sunset photo. An hour at Rick’s Cafe was a lively and busy experience!

Die Katamarantour war ein richtig tolles Erlebniss, super Service auf dem Schiff und sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter…wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Ricks Café muss man gesehen haben, aber es ist auch sehr teuer….ansonsten war das von der Klippe springen ein klasse Erlebniss. Wir würden die Tour jedem empfehlen !!!

Loved this excursion! The snorkelling was amazing, the crew on the catamaran were brilliant we were fortunate enough to have dolphins swimming around our catamaran on the way to Ricks cafe. Ricks cafe was an experience the cliff divers were amazing and we did the smaller jumps. Lots of locals around who advise you before jumping. Thankfully our TUI rep advised us to have lunch before going on the trip. The itinerary needs updating as it says lunch included but it is just a snack offered.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, including our driver who picked us up. Me and my family enjoyed the catamaran and also snorkelling. I do think the catamaran would have been more enjoyable if there were less people on it. Overall enjoyed and good value for money. Would recommend.

Der Ausflug war insgesamt sehr schön, verbessern könnte man den Ein/Ausstieg auf den Katamaran. Die Kleidung war ewig nass. Zumindest müsste es die Möglichkeit geben, sich nach der Rückkehr umzuziehen zu können. Es ist nicht angenehm,sich mit der nassen Badekleidung in den klimatisierten Bus zu setzen.

I am a poor swimmer and I was in the water with a lifeguard. I felt save at all times. We weren’t told we would have to walk through the ocean to get to the catamaran which would have been helpful.

The only problem was the boat took attempts to dock at Rick's cafe and gave up had to get a coach Rick's and watch the sunset no trip back on the boat not impressed with the captain says he does it every day employ someone who can dock the boat

Our driver who took us to the boat had to take us back Ricks Cafe because the boat couldn't dock and he was waiting exactly where he said he would be. The staff on the boat were very friendly and funny, really enjoyed it

Ich finde es schade, dass man mehr im Bus sitzt als auf dem Boot. Immer warten und dann nicht mal mit dem Katamaran zurückfahren. Alle anderen Veranstalter sind am Cafe ausgestiegen nur wir sind zurück und wurden in 2 Busse, was vorher 3 waren weiter transportiert. Echt nicht schön.

Unser Ausflug zu Rick's Café war ein sehr tolles Erlebnis. Die Jungs auf dem Catamaran, welcher uns dort hin brachte, sind ein gutes eingespieltes Team und stets bemüht diesen Trip unvergesslich werden zu lassen. Ist ihnen gelungen. Wir hatten, für "Landeier" ziehmlich harten Seegang. Deshalb waren die Umsteigemanöver recht anspruchsvoll. Aber alles gut gegangen, super Tag.

Everything was spot on. My only issue was we were picked up late. So we didn’t get much time at Margheritaville. Would have been nice to spend time there. Felt a bit rushed once we were there. Straight into boat trip. Was told we would spend some time at 7 mile beach.

Crew great on Catamaran but bus late picking us up so didn’t stay at Margaritaville long enough to eat, Rick’s sunset a bit hindered by the torrential rain storm but we danced anyway! Need to explain more about the wading in the sea to get on and off boat and steep steps at Rick’s for some guests

Upon boarding the boat we had to wade into water up to just under my shoulders, I and many others were not expecting or dressed for this. Also holding your bag with phones over your head to stop damage was not ideal. The steps up to the boat had no handrail so was incredibly dangerous with the boat moving. Crew were fantastic in every way and could not do enough.

Loved the atmosphere on boat drinks freely available and some snacks which was lovely the staff handled a few very drunk ladies so well and steered them away from the side of the boat to drink water. Sadly water too choppy for me for snorkelling I had a go but got out pretty quick and we couldn’t get off at ricks cafe but they sorted the minibuses out brilliantly.. Please advise beforehand that you have to wade in sea to waist to get on boat partner can’t swim and only wore normal clothes!

Really enjoyed the experience as a whole and with a few improvements it would be a 10. We felt each part was a little rushed - arriving at Margaritaville we were told to go inside the cafe and relax and our guide would look after us - it took someone in the cafe to say our boat was leaving - we would have missed it. Felt like we were led to believe it there would be more time so that we would buy a drink. Had to run for the boat. We also had to get a bus to the cafe rather than off the boat

Was told boat would depart at 1 45 but it was 2.30 , we were left just waiting with no information. Then when we got to Rick's cafe they said there was too many elderly people so we woukd have to come back and get a bus . This all took alot of wasted time. Totally disorganised

we were told what boat we would be going in .And a few safety tips.We weren't told we we were going to Margaritaville.Which was great.And then onto the catamaran .We had a fantastic time .great atmosphere with drinks included.Ricks Cafe was great ,very busy but great fun.My only complaint is that the bus driver didn't tell us how long we would be at Ricks cafe ,and what time to get back on the bus.It was by chance my husband saw a few of the party heading towards the car park.A few missed thebus

Trip advertised snack is involved. Therefore you assume you are getting some food. We got picked up at 1.00pm so if we had known or told by the tui reps that food is not included there is just crisps and biscuits available, people can get food before you go. Also the trip is advertised as sunset catamaran, however we just seen sunset then had to go. It was very rushed the timing coming home could be later allowing you to soak up the sunset a bit more

Geplant war, dass wir vom Katamaran aus mit einem Boot zum Café übersetzen... Jedoch sind wir dann mit dem Bus zum Café gefahren. Das hat uns eine weitere tolle Fahrt mit dem Katamaran eingebracht. Die Crew war so gut drauf. Wir hatten eine Menge Spaß. Es hat sich sehr gelohnt.

On the plus side, we met some very warm and friendly staff in the resort, but not all staff acted that way. We felt that service provision was 'tip driven', to some degree. The aeroplane was changed a couple of days prior to the outbound flight (unavoidable I expect) but the replacement did not have entertainment, a massive issue on a 10 hour flight. This also impacted on the return flight which was short of headsets, we spent the first couple of hours waiting for the staff to find sets.

The coach transfer. We were told approximately how long it would take. The tour company clearly tried to maximise the number of persons on the bus as we have to make another collection, which took another 20 mins. This meant that we had no time at the 7 mile beach, it was arrive and straight onto the boat. We were also told that there would be snacks and light bites, there were packets of banana crisps, and that was it! On balance, it was still a great experience and unlimited selected drinks.

Der Ausflug war sehr schön. Die Crew an Bord des Katamarans war sehr kompetent. Es wurde während der Fahrt, beim Schnorcheln und auch beim Übersetzen mit dem Beiboot zu Ricks Cafe sehr auf die Sicherheit der Fahrgäste geachtet. Wir hatten einen wirklich schönen Tag mit vielen wunderbaren Eindrücken. Etwas Abenteuer war ebenfalls dabei. Wir können den Ausflug uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Einfach alles toll. Die Busfahrt vom Hotel zum Boarding an den Strand dauerte keine 10 Minuten. Tolle Crew und Musik an Board. Alle Getränke inklusive. Gute halbe Stunde geschnorchelt. Dann weiter zum legendären "Rick's Café" zum Klippensprung. Von 11m darf man erst nach einem 8m-Sprung. 17m nicht für "Gäste". Vor Ort super Musik mit Live-DJ. Nach einer guten Stunde ging es wieder an Board und langsam Richtung Hotel, inklusive Sonnenuntergang. Einfach nur toll.

The whole day was great. The driver and staff on the boat were very friendly and informative. We enjoyed the snorkelling whilst on the boat. Good amount of time at Rick’s Cafe but could have done with a little longer (although, the water was too choppy to dock at Ricks so having to go by bus may have eaten in to our time)

Leider wieder nur englisch sprachig. Es wäre sehr schön einmal einen Ausflug deutschsprachig buchen zu können. Die Anzahl der Personen ca. 60 war grenzwertig als es mitten auf dem Meer anfing zu regnen und Gewittern. Auch das warten am Strand ca. 3/4 Stunde bis es los ging war zu lange. Es wurde zu Beginn Fotos gemacht welche wir gekauft haben, sollten per Email kommen 3 Tage später sind sie noch nicht da!! Na mal sehn. Die Crew war top. Freundliche, hilfsbereit. Es gab genug Getränke an Bord.

Es war durchweg ein richtig schöner Ausflugstag. Tolle Betreuung auf dem Katamaran, schöner Ort zum schnorcheln und super Stimmung. Auch die anschliessende Zeit beim Ricks Cafe war ausreichend. Super Ort mit guter Laune-Feeling und viel Spass bei den verschiedenen Höhen fürs Klippenspringen. Kein Anstehen, einfach nur toll. Wir würden diesen Ausflug immer wieder gerne machen!??

The catamaran trip was excellent and the crew were fantastic, very safety conscious especially as thunder storm and lightening hit. As for Ricks Cafe it was an experience, cliff jumpers amazing but was aporoached on several occasion to buy drugs in front of security staff who did nothing to stop it even though there was a sign at entrance "no drugs" it was rise.

The drop off at margaritaville is not a great experience as the beach sellers are aggressive and if your not on your toes will try to rip you off The boat trip was great with snorkelling Ricks cafe was fun but way too short and no one lets you know to go back and it can be a chaos getting back

Hotel riu negril.. Was everything we hoped for fabulous entertainment. Freindly staff.. Reception kitchen. Staff waitress.. Entertainment staff outstanding the shoes were fabulous.. Drinks.. Only issue cleaner allocated to room did not seem to realise 3 people in room not 2 numerous calls to reception and rep to resolve issues on daily basis.. Would highly recommend this hotel and we will return

Had a fab all inclusive boat I would say not suitable for young children though and then ricks cafe was amazing very exspensive but also not suitable for young children as don’t sell kids soft drinks only alcohol

The trip once on board was excellent , crew , drinks , snacks , atmosphere all made it a grand afternoon ! However the chaos at the beach loading spot was very poor , long wait clearly to persuade folk to shop or buy drinks at bar when everyone just wanted to get going an hour messing about , then 3 boats to load one at time with little organisation was poor folks! Also why sell ticket excursions when organisers on bus want tickets and make it clear TUI guests less welcome as we only have email on phone !! One for you to sort out please …. Would recommend but needs some sorting out from TUI

Der Transport war top. Die Katamaran Tour an sich war gut und mit Ricks Cafe ein Erlebnis. Service war auch gut. Jedoch hat man nicht wie versprochen einen Sonnenuntergang erlebt, da wir zu diesen Zeitpunkt schon angedockt haben. Weiterhin war der Schnorchel Spot nicht gerade ein Highlight, nicht besonderes, kaum Fische.

Firstly trying to get through to TUI customer services is a mission. Prior to the holiday I needed to discuss some seating issue for the plane. It took me 7 and a half hours to get the right answer. Firstly it takes about 45 mins to get through to them and then whenever they put you on hold or transfer you it just cuts off. Then you have to sit in the 30-45 min queue again to get through to someone. The first person I spoke to told me the wrong information, promised me things that weren’t possible and then when I finally got the right answer is was very frustrating after all those hours on the phone. Check in staff at Gatwick were great and managed to sort all our seating issues we had. It was speedy and efficient. On the flight out we felt like we was the only ones being asking to put our masks on by the staff. There was lots of people without masks on but we was the ones constantly being told off eventhough I was in the middle of drinking my drink. We was sat on the front row of the cabin section. People were constantly passing by our legs to get from one side of the plane to the other and the air hostesses made no efforts to try tell people to stop. We paid extra for those seats which was pointless because we was being disturbed the whole flight and even woken up at some points. The travel time to the hotel was about a hour and half and the bus drivers were very nice. Check in was very efficient and we were shown to our rooms. Getting Sun loungers by the pool was very easy and no one got up super early to go reserve the loungers. The vibe team were great and they made our holiday. Got us involved in all the games and always created a great atmosphere. However if the bar staff didn’t see you with a tip in your hand then they served you last and with attitude. On 3 occasions housekeeping did not leave us any towels. Despite calling reception 3 times, it took between 2-3 hours to get clean towels on all occasions. This meant sadly we missed our reservations for dinner one night. My biggest concern was the dress code. Men were not allowed to wear sleeveless to dinner. After speaking to the manager Julen she told me this is for hygiene reasons as men have underarm hair. My biggest concern there was why is hygiene not considered as highly during other meals of the day. My dad was not allowed into dinner due to having a sleeveless shirt on. He was dressed smarter than most the people there but was denied entry. People in the restaurant had on the swimwear, and pyjamas but were allowed in due to being a female. I said to the manager Julen if my dad wears make up and a wig so he looks like a female will you let him in, she responded with well yes I guess I would have too. This is such a outrageous comment. After this and the poor standards and gender equality issues with the Royalton I would not recommend it due to the staff and the poor service we got. After spending a total of £13,500 on this holiday and then getting is disgusting service, I would not return. I tried to contact TUI through the app whilst I was there to which I got no response and told it would take up to 14 days. So overall TUI experience wasn’t great and neither was the hotel.

I was disappointed with the trip not worth the money did not see sunset only 20 minutes at ricks cafe some hotel staff not helpful and some rude the food always cold they should put more entertainment on most people went to there rooms early as it was boring

We enjoyed the cruise. Not much time at Rick's cafe (only an hour). By the time we queued up to get back the catermaran we had missed the sunset which was disappointing. Not as romantic as I thought it would be.

Best boat trip I have ever been on. Great staff, nice boat and an amazing atmosphere! Ricks cafe was such a good experience and if I could do it all over again, I would do it in a heartbeat!

Catamaran was average and wasn’t a TUI only cruise. Rick’s cafe was extremely busy and spent most of the time waiting for service and therefore didn’t spend much time enjoying the experience as we only got an hour and 15 at Rick’s cafe. Overall disappointing.

A fantastic day made all the better with a brilliant crew who love what they do. Although we chose not to go up to Ricks Cafe, preferring to stay on the catamaran, we still very much enjoyed watching the jumpers and listening to the music whilst dangling our feet in the sea. A brilliant birthday!
